“I took graphic design classes at the Johns Creek Arts Center and had a great experience learning about creating magazine covers and printable newsletters. The practical applications were excellent, and the staff was both professional and well-organized. While I found the prices and dates to occasionally be rigid and expensive for a working adult, I still highly recommend this place for art education.”

“What a gem! Our team had a clay mug workshop here and it was a great experience and we can’t wait to see our finished projects in a few weeks. I highly recommend doing a class with this studio. You can bring in drinks & snacks and they personalize the classroom signage to make your experience even more special. After the team workshop, I stayed back and selected a pottery piece to paint in their retail location (separate from the classroom). All of the employees are knowledgeable and attentive (they’re not just cashiers looking bored and sitting around like a lot of businesses in general). The ladies there were friendly and made themselves available the whole time I was painting and also readily helped the other Customers and whoever walked in. Their selection of pottery to paint is impressive and they’re not all cutesy or childish which is what I have run into in the past at other pottery painting studios. While there are kid friendly designs/pieces, there are a TON of items that are tasteful and would make a great gift or decoration in your home. Painting there is very relaxing and intuitive. They provide everything and it’s such a great price for not only the piece you’ll take home (in about a week, after it’s fired) but also for the 2.5-4 hour experience that comes with it. If you don’t finish painting (which is what happened to me), you can take your piece and come back the next day or any day they’re open later - there’s not a rush or time limit. The shop itself is so incredibly charming and you’ll just love every minute there, highly highly recommend!”

“This is a cool spot that you should check out when in Alpharetta. It’s free! The gallery has many quality pieces on display. Expect it to take an hour or two depending how in depth you’d like to take your experience. If you live in the area, the Center is also home to a variety of studios and offers classes for both adults and children. I visited the building often when it was the library and wish I hadn’t waited so long to check out its transformation. Don’t make the same mistake!”

“Fantastic service and top-quality prints! I couldn’t ask for more.

I had ordered photo prints from another company and was expecting delivery via USPS, but there was a delay. Desperate to get my prints on the same day, I Googled local printing shops and found the top 10 in Alpharetta on Yelp. That’s how I discovered the Gallery Street.
Matthew was incredibly helpful in explaining the Giclee prints they offer. They truly saved me (and my participation in the exhibit) by printing my photos in just a few hours! I am beyond grateful for their prompt and professional service. Thank you so much! I highly recommend them to anyone in need of high-quality prints and exceptional customer care!”

“Welcome to the Las Olas Riverwalk Art and Entertainment District. I took the kids out for the night on a downtown adventure. The art gallery is pretty much in the heart of the art district so we decided to visit because my son loves art. All of the pieces are vibrant and expressive. They have a wide modern selection. You can tell the artists put emotion behind the pieces. In any case the kids and I loved them all and feel they are definitely purchase worthy, fyi they are all for sale. Thank you to the attendant working that gave us a few words of encouragement after finding out my is into art. Definitely go and visit. Just don't touch the pieces. Remember people need to buy them so this isn't a regular museum. unofficially #YelpKids”

“If you love art you will love Carter House Gallery and Framing. I had went somewhere else, but they showed no interest in art. It was a very cold experience. I'm not one to say that's bad it's just not for me. When I walked into Carter House and saw the art handled with absolute care and excitement, I thought I found the right place, but when I spoke to Shannon it was confirmed. He's a gem and it was a pleasure doing business with him. Enjoy your visit.”

“I've been coming to Othels since May of 2017! The teachers are wonderful and I'm super grateful for them - my capabilities in art have shown clear progression throughout the years, and I owe much of that to Othels. I was able to find my niche/preferred medium with colored pencils, and taking art lessons here helped my technique improve big time! I'm now at the point where I'm starting to build up a portfolio that I'm already falling in love with - super happy to be a student here.”

“I recently moved from the area to NC and have been having a hard time finding black artwork for my home. I was back in GA for work and had to stop here on my way home. I found exactly what I was looking for and more pieces I plan to come back and grab. I bought 2 big pieces of art and the lady in the store noticed I was pregnant and helped carry the art out to my car. So nice and thoughtful! My husband and I will be back in town soon and plan on coming back for more art work.”
