I finally got to check out Royce Chocolate while I was visiting the area. The employees were so welcoming, kind, and patient as I was debating on my purchase. The store offered free samples of their chocolate, and they have a rewards program. Also, gift wrapping is available for your purchase if you let them know it's a gift. I made a purchase for myself and a gift purchase for my fiancé's mother. I got Mild Cacao Nama Chocolate for myself and the Bitter Nama Chocolate for his mother. The Nama Chocolate is so rich, soft, an absolute delight that I wish I bought more. Since the Nama Chocolate needs to be refrigerated, they provide an isolated bag to transport.

Japanese chocolaterie with top notch customer service. Japanese chocolates are super smooth and creamy, mildly sweet. Royce has a good, seasonal selection and lots of free samples to help you find the right flavors for you.

I have ALWAYS loved Royce Chocolates before they ever arrived in GA, so words cannot describe how happy I am that they are now down the street from my place! What a great addition!I went in for the special AAPI month x yelp event, and was showered with samples. Everything tasted so good. I got to try a seasonal flavor nama flavor (strawberry) and it was delicious! Sales associate working was very kind and let my friend and I try other flavors of different lines of their products. I have no pictures because I was literally in a candy store, so the excitement overcame me. This place is perfect place to pick up a gift for someone or a little something for yourself!

Such a cute little store, I was not familiar with Japanese chocolate so this was a new treat for me. I loved the creaminess of the chocolate and the subtle flavors. It's definitely perfect for savoring. I tried a few nama chocolates (Champagne, Bitter, and Ghana bitter). The Ghana and the regular Bitter were very close in flavor, but I ended up buying the Bitter simply because of the slight alcohol infusion. I also tried the chocolate wafers matcha and the cherry cube. I'm not typically a cherries and chocolate person, but the flavors were perfect and I'd definitely try them again.Overall love the chocolates and will definitely visit again when they have nama chocolate matcha available. The young lady that worked there was very nice and knowledgeable about the products.

So this is a well known chocolate company that are famous for their soft chocolate. Their chocolate are rich and bold in flavors. The store has many types of chocolate to choose from. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They treated this place like a high end jewelry store. It is on a higher side for the price. But you get what you pay for. This is not just another average chocolate place. I wish they are located inside 285. Once you walked in, be prepared to spend a lot of money and join me in this rabbit hole. Cheers

Great spot for a gift. Highly recommend the white chocolate (which was my husband's favorite and he doesn't like white chocolate) and the champagne chocolate. Both are Delicious. Cute packaging for gifts and unique combinations like their chocolate covered chips. You can expect to spend about $20 for most little items. If you are in the area, stop in and try a sample of their chocolate. It is soft like a ganache and stands out! The service team was also very knowledgeable and excited about the product. Nice to see a crew proud of their product!

Came in with my 2 little boys (7 and 3) to try some free samples of new this Japanese chocolate place by H-mart. We got to try probably 5 different chocolates and omg, sooo good! I'm not even a chocolate lover but I was in love. I ended up buying 5 different types of chocolates from them because I couldn't resist. I wanted to get some for my Japanese husband to try but secretly it's for me hehe. My boys loved them, they even tried the dark chocolate with liquor ( they assured that it's fully cooked). I'll be in trouble since this place is like 8 mins from my house. Go try a new world of Japanese chocolate here !

Wow what a wonderful Japanese chocolate gem ! Came here for a yelp event and Henry did a phenomenal job explaining the different chocolates they had! I am not a sweet person so for me to say that this is perfectly sweetened is an understatement because this chocolate is perfect ! As soon as you walk in you feel the luxury of the chocolate store ! It felt very clean and organized! I will definitely be back for some more rum and raisin chocolate!

We stopped in just to get some samples, but the nama chocolate was so incredible we couldn't leave without two boxes of the champagne flavor. The texture and mouthfeel isn't quite like any other chocolate we'd had before, without being overpoweringly sweet or bitter. The store itself is small with a limited seasonal curation of items, but the attendant was very helpful in pointing out items that we might like. I do have a feeling we'll probably be back for more once our supply runs out

Royce Chocolate finally opening in Georgia? And out of all places my hometown JC?! This was extreme news to me and I know I had to check it out. The fact that Royce finally opened in Georgia just means that Georgia is on its way to become a big name state, and it's absolutely fantastic.I'm not a HUGE fanatic of Royce, but I do enjoy their chocolate from time to time and since they opened, it is definitely worth checking them out.We visited, and the location is relatively small -- there isn't much walking room and you're exposed to the selection they have. They also have samples available (not Nama Chocolate - the signature Royce item) but you can try the chocolates out.My friend got the Au Lait Royce Nama Chocolate for $19.99 and what's nice about Royce is that they give you an icebag thingy that makes the chocolates cool for about 2-3 hours. We got it and did the unboxing right away. Immediately, I noticed that Royce doesn't put the mini forks anymore in the boxes which was a huge disappointment as the chocolate is usually smothered in ganache/cacao powder. Also, I don't know if my palates, standards and expectations have increased but it doesn't taste as good as I remember. It used to be more chewy and had a stronger flavor, but I couldn't get that this time around. Nevertheless, Royce is a great-tasting product and it's not bad, but I was just slightly underwhelmed. I would still come here to buy gifts and whatnot, but I don't know if I would purchase these chocolates for a whopping $19.99. Still, I'm very happy that we have such a high-end product in Georgia and it makes my inner-JC self happy (even though I don't live here anymore lol).

I was so excited to stop by this location after only hearing good things about this place. And yes, it was well worths the visit. The price is stiff for chocolate, but you get what you paid for. True, authentic Japanese chocolate all the way from Hokkaido.
