I remember coming to this facility years ago a couple of times to make sure it's was a good and clean facility making sure the property is well maintained. I felt that my family and I things were safe for a while things were smooth and I noticed that every so often my rent went up and at that time I believe I had a 10x20 but due to the frequent increases in rent I had to reduce to a 10x15. I have noticed after I moved one of the employees that I used to see around the property was wondering about the particular unit I was in because of the look on her face as I began to move in. I asked her, "what's that look on your face about this unit" jokingly but she kept a skeptical look and proceeded to tell me to "keep Leeves and other debris away from the door area to keep ants and bugs away".
Later I went back to the unit and things were fine until one day I saw what looked like rodent feces all of our things in this unit! It was horrible! I had to throw away a love seat along with a kitchen table and chairs and clothes and other camping and old military items I have saved over the years that are now unusable and not even safe to touch. I tried notifying someone but no one was there. There are times no one is there during business hours, finally I spoke with a young lady and she informed me that "this isn't even my store, you're going to have to keep reaching out to reach the store manager, I'm sorry this happened to you". I left multiple calls and sent several emails and after several contacts I went to the office again after several attempts I finally spoke with the manager, she came out took some pictures she stated, "OMG that's a mess". She took pictures and so did I. I had already began throwing away my/our things and cleaning this filthy unit up prior to me leaving. There wasn't even a trap set up or anything while I made my complaints heard. Later the manager stated "I reported the issue to corporate". Corporate has done nothing but stated that "someone will reach out to you". To be fair eventually the manager did reach out and took pictures.
The rodents looked as if they were coming in from the roof. I took pictures and will be posting them. I will never come back here to this location and now that I know corporate doesn't care or seems as if they don't care I will no longer do business with life storage.
Please look at reviews elsewhere because for some reason this location has almost five stars but if you see some other tenants ask them about the rodent issues here. Find out for yourself before renting in this location, I have and several people have told me that they have had rodent issue(s).
UPDATE: Around 3 p.m. May 10th 2024 I spoke with someone in corporate.
