I feel like the store is organized and stock and easily the best goodwill in the area however I regularly overheat every time I’m in the store. Maybe they could invest in fixing the AC or turning it down because a cold shopping experience is way better than overheating and puking just from trying to fully browse through the store.

A women at the register by the name of Olivia decided to take her bad day out on my mother & I. One of the items did not have a price tag & she stated I needed to go to the back to get a price. I proceeded to the back to get a price. However when I returned, I simply stated to be mindful about putting merchandise out when it doesn’t have a tag. This women then started to scream in front of the entire store and make a whole show about how this is not her job & how I shouldn’t tell her how to do her job. Mind you there is at least 11 people behind me. I advised Olivia to reflect on the way she is speaking to me and the way I am speaking to her in hopes she would compose herself. She did not she then started screaming about how she is not my child. I told Olivia she should be embarrassed she then stated I should be embarrassed by the way I look.. Olivia is completely unprofessional and as a cashier you are the face of the company. This is not a good look when it comes to the representation of Goodwill. It’s quiet clear she does not appreciate her job or have any respect for customers. Even if you disagree with a customer you empathize, reassure and resolve. THAT IS YOUR JOB.

This location sold me and my toddler a candy basket that expired in 2019.. 6 YEARS AGO! they put a sticker with this months date over the expiration date. My baby is now vomiting. The store won’t answer the store. They’ll hear from my attorney very soon about doctor bills. This was no doubt intentional…
Edit: four days later and still, no one has contacted me in the store still does not answer. What kind of customer service is this like this business is really proving yourself to be one that is not concerned with the quality of the products they sell nor did health of customers who purchased items that we’re unsuitable I know they see this post yet. I get no apology. No nothing no concern whatsoever. This is atrocious. I was a general manager for over eight years and there is no way I would not reach out to a customer in my situation. I spent at least $100 every time I go to any Goodwill or thrift store and that’s for sure a definite, but I guarantee that America’s thrift store or the local thrift stores here will get all of my business from now on and just so you know, Goodwill, my reviews receive over 300,000 I will upload proof of that soon

To the extremely rude employee that scolded my mother for having an asthma attack in the store and told her she must "wear a mask" (this makes asthma worse), be glad I wasn't there with her.

This is not the Goodwill you’re looking for. If you’re dropping things off your answer will typically be “we’re not taking that”. Maybe they have too much stuff. I don’t know. The prices at this Goodwill tend to be higher than the one in Centerville.

They charge to pick up donations and demand that the items all be boxed separately. Seriously? Since that wasn't going to happen, we made three trips and lugged all of the donated items to the store ourselves, only to find out that they don't give paper receipts anymore. The donor has to use an app to get a receipt now. What about the folks who don't have access to an app? Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth! Sheese!

The store was clean and organized. Compared to other goodwill stores that I shop at, the prices in this store were considerably higher. I can not see myself paying their prices. For example, a 10x10 canopy that you can go to Walmart of Sam's and purchase for $50-$60. Just a plain old ordinary canopy. They wanted $103. There were a lot more items that were priced like that. We just happened to be visiting FT Valley for the day, and we decided to stop on our way back home. Don't think that we will be stopping by again.

In other Good Wills, apparels <clothes>are seperated by Sizes like Small ,Med,Large,Xlarge,XXL ETC. They are grouped by colors within the sizes. IT'S WAY EASIER TO FIND CLOTHES THAT WILL FIT YOU THAT WAY. THE WAY THAT IT IS NOW HAS NO ORGANIZATION TO IT. YOU'D SPEND HOURS GOING THROUGH EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF CLOTHING. I TOLD THE MANAGER AND SHE SAID THAT SHE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH MAN POWER TO GO THROUGH AND ORGANIZE CLOTHES LIKE THAT ETC.. I SUGGESTED TO DO IT AT NIGHT AFTER THE STORE IS CLOSED. GET A TEAM TO GO THROUGH AND ONLY DO THAT. IT MAY TAKE 1 OR 2 NIGHTS, BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT. THE OTHER STORE IN TAMPA REORGINIZED THAT WAY AND THAT IS HOW THEY DONE IT . BELIEVE ME THEY ARE SO HAPPY AND RELIEVED THAT THERE IS ORGANIZATION,PLUS THE SALES WENT UP DRASTICALLY!!!
