I walked into the boutique today after leaving the gym and on my way to Publix. The person I’m assuming to be the owner was standing at the front door talking to someone, when I walked into she looked me up & down stating “can I help you?”. Rest assured I spent no money and left pretty quickly. Sad because I love boutiques and could have been a great customer. Rudeness is never the way to go. Looks like I will be sticking with my usual boutiques.

Fun shop and friendly staff. I wish they would expand more of the clothing section of the store to offer more to all ages and sizes.

If I could give Miss Dotties zero stars, I would. I was racially profiled during my visit. From the moment I walked in, no one greeted me or offered any help. I was watched the entire time I looked at the Pandora selection!!!!
When it came time to check out, I wasn’t even handed my bracelet until after I paid — something I’ve never experienced before. On top of that, suddenly three women and the cashier came to the front to “help” me, yet only one person assisted each of the two white customers before me. the two white women before me who were treated with friendliness and ease.
This isn’t the first time I’ve felt uncomfortable here, but I tried to give them another chance like people suggested. Never again. I won’t be returning.

ABSURD … I entered Miss Dottie’s for a gift to my Goddaughter. I had visited a few times before and felt uncomfortable as if I didn’t belong and was constantly being watched/followed without being offered assistance. I was told by some acquaintances to give them another chance, so I did! The clerk asked for my name, in which I don’t give any personal information to anyone. I feel it’s totally unnecessary to buy an item and you collect my personal data! Anyway, after showing my military ID card, paying for my purchase and receiving a printed receipt; I was told I couldn’t return any item because I didn’t give them my name! I told the clerk I have a printed receipt and if my goddaughter didn’t like the items could she return? All three employees stated she could NOT return because I didn’t give them my name! Never have I felt so harassed and humiliated as this place has treated me! I will NEVER step foot in this store again!!!

Why do I always have to be made to feel like I don't belong in Miss Dottie's in Kathleen? Seemed bothered and look down at their noses at me. I guess I don't fit the profile. Won't be shopping here anymore. Will find another place for enewton.

Great relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and good selection. I love that Ms Dottie's in Kathleen carries Brighton jewelry! I'd have to risk ordering on-line, without them. They also have Pandora, specialty knick-knacks, ladies fashion, Cute Simply Southern tees and more. If you like cute ladies specialty shops, and haven't visited Ms Dottie's yet, you should really add it to your "round-to-it" list.

Beautiful items but the same staff member has been quite rude to me on more than one occasion when I have come in. Both times I asked to have items just put in a simple bag with ribbon which is something they do. It was quite obvious she didn’t want to even though there were no customers in line behind me. I have never experienced this type of treatment at any of the other boutique stores in town. So I will gladly support them in the future.

Nice store but they will not let their customers use their restrooms. How can you allow people to spend money in your shop then deny them access to the restroom? The owner said it was because the restroom is in the stock room. She clearly didn’t trust me. Very disrespectful!
