“Owners were so incredibly kind. I loved my experience here. had so many interesting items at an affordable cost- my favorite was the huge selection of old old books! I was obsessed. stood in there for over an hour looking through them & making my selections & never felt rushed or like i was bothering them once. Scored some INCREDIBLE books from the early 1900’s & for an insanely great deal. Cannot believe I waited so long to visit this hidden gem! I will definitely be back. “Hessen Antique is an amazing website for any collectors or reenactors, they have high quality items at a reasonable price unlike other websites like at the front which has good quality but their prices are way too high. “Tons to look at and pick from. Some booths were reasonable and some were not. We just kept it moving on the ones that were overpriced. Still lots to pick from and we enjoyed ourselves very much.”
“Quaint store in a charming part of Acworth. Great selection of items. I saw a large picture with birds that I wanted to get for my living room because I love birds. A staff member followed me around the entire time. I didn’t have a purse just my phone with credit card and ID. The merchandise is worth the visit as you’ll find beautiful items for gifts and home.
My husband got super annoyed at being followed around the store and tried to tell me we should leave so he simply walked straight out. All I could do was quickly take pictures so I could view the items at home and come back for a visit on my own. After I walked out my husband convinced me how rude the whole experience was. I simply wanted to buy a few items and YES I took pictures. The store is JAM PACKED with items even the windows. So imagine my surprise when I bread a review here that states pics aren’t allowed,

“Really cool shop with a large collection of vinyl and interesting antiques. The staff was warm and pretty helpful. I went during a festival for the historic district so I can imagine it’ll be even better on a regular day when it’s less busy.”

What else? 2 flea markets 2 Miles from home with Church i between all off same road! Early retired to perfect area!”

Friendly staff as well and I believe they deliver bigger items (depending on where you live I’m sure).”

“Dent Myers was a treasure trove of history that we have sadly lost. The institution he began, his knowledge, and his determination helped build the city of Kennesaw. The items on display in the museum section and the items for trade teach everyone about periods in our history that some believe are better forgotten, but shouldn't. The store hasn't changed much in the 50+ years it has been in operation. It is still a living encyclopedia full of unique items. No matter what you have heard, go visit.”
