Dawn Vickers was amazing she was extremely patient she walked us through the process and throughly explained the entire process she helped us pick a beautiful looking bed/couch that will last us decades. Very appreciative of her and they staff they are all great and very welcoming

Having a delivery issue and one item not be delivered is frustrating but can happen. One of our 4 pieces; a recliner was sent to their wrong warehouse and would be transferred asap and delivered to us. Waiting 30 days and dealing with Bassett customer service to resolve the issue is not acceptable. Repeatedly calling and being told they will call you back with a delivery time and never receiving a call back. Asking for escalations to a supervisor with no response is the type of service provided by this company. If you have the time in your day to call multiple times and continue following up on their errors with no response then this is the company for you. There are lots of companies that sell quality furniture and when an issue happens corrects it immediately and my suggestion is to find one of them. Please don’t respond to this review to contact customer service by email because clearly that doesn’t work.

In the last two years, my wife and I spent more than $14K at Bassett. (We actually spent more but I couldn't find the invoices to substantiate the actual amount). We've been so disappointed in the quality and durability of the furniture. We even purchased the Guardsman protection plan. And I won't even go into the hassle that this protection plan has been. I still have stains. I still have a hole in my rug.The design rep suggested we buy $600 light-colored area rug and place it under our kitchen table. Then just purchase the $600 protection plan. And of course when I went tried to submit a claim back in July, I learned there were all sorts of exceptions and requirements.Remember when you are shopping here, you are working with sales NOT designers. That's why we left the showroom with $14K in poorly selected furniture choices that look great for the first 3 months.Whereas my rooms-to-go furniture has aged beautifully.We will be throwing this rug away pretty soon once I find the right one at Rooms-To-Go...

Went in hoping to find a great set suitable for our needs. Left very frustrated. The staff seem to be extremely judgmental for whatever reason. After getting their look at us, decided we werent worth helping or talking to. We asked for help from a saleswoman and she was very snobby and rude, almost as if we were bothering her. Quickly left, and took our business elsewhere.

My wife and I finally decided to buy a New Bedroom Suit. The quality of the furniture seemed great. Real wood, sturdy, just what we was looking for. Well a year later going on the fourth time. We still have nightstands that are damaged upon arrival. This furniture isn't cheap. I just want what I paid for. What a headache this has been

My delivery has been canceled twice and on the 3rd delivery, I find out it was canceled when I called them up. I have been taking time off work to wait on them. Their delivery service is the worst. Shop elsewhere!

Didn't think I'd be one to write this type of post but I want to try to save someone else the trouble that we went through. My husband and I have been struggling with Bassett for almost a year now after purchasing a bed frame, side tables and a bureau. For starters, dealing with Cindy in the Bassett store was a nightmare, to the point where my husband (who is in sales) had to cut in and help her with the iPad so we weren't there for 3+ hours. It turns out, she put the wrong bureau on the account, after we pointed out to her which one we wanted since it was on display in the store, and we didn't realize it until delivery 3 months later. (Some things are labeled as bureau, some as chest of drawers.) So we had to wait another 3 months for the correct one to be delivered. Meanwhile, the delivery team wreaked havoc on our walls carrying our furniture upstairs, and bent the new bureau drawer slides so we had to wait yet again for new ones. Since purchase, we weren't able to use our bureau for 8 months. 8 months!! They sent out Anthony to fix our drawers and he supplied us with new drawer slides that are not no slam. It's frustrating to pay for something and not end up with what you bought, but at this point, I just want them to stop messing up our furniture. It's truly been ridiculous to the point of comical and then just down right frustrating with this company. We like how solid the wood seems to be, and that is literally it. If we could go back and order elsewhere, we would. I'll leave you with this. We just ordered from Ashley Furniture (no sponsorship, the store right beside theirs), they are delivering today. We ordered 2 weeks ago. Take your business elsewhere unless you want almost a years worth of a headache.

The ordering process is fine, although extremely lengthy (plan for at least an hour!), however the customer service experience after is absolutely dreadful. In September we ordered and paid in full for an outdoor couch from Cindy and were promised 30 day delivery. 104 days later, after I initiated numerous emails and phone calls, it was finally delivered. While I understand that pandemic-related issues can be unavoidable, at no point during the process did Cindy ever proactively reach out to explain the fabric was on backorder, the frames were delays, or that it would take 10 days from delivery at the warehouse until it could be checked in and delivery could be scheduled. We had a great experience with a different salesperson in 2018 and like the quality of the product, but the experience with Cindy has left a horrible taste in our mouths.

The quality is not close to what I expected and was told by the sales person.. it’s was delivered with nails, staples are poping out and unfinished seams!! Way too expensive for what you get..do not blame it on shipping and delivery issues!! let’s hope I get a full refund!! And NO I don’t want you to order another one!! It’s junk!!

Absolutely the most hideous customer service and design help. I purchased the higher end leather reclining sofas and love seat. They both are not built well. Putchase two additional custom chairs. Fabric was terrible design choice as recommended. Total spend 15,100.00 I should havdd Ed give back to Stowers or Louis Shanks or Star Furniture. Had leather sofa realign 4 times in 4 months since new delivery. They sell you stuff that didn't fit the space to run up the sale. Will donate to a good cause... take my loss. HORRIBLE experience a c this is the 5th home I have furnished... EVER use over priced Bassett for the poorest quality ....

I bought a sectional that was delivered 12/2/2020. It is well made and looks great. When you sit down it is not comfortable. I bought it because in the store it felt plush and comfortable. The couch I have is just hard, firm, not for hanging out for any length of time. Am I the only one with this issue?? Were the materials substituted because of the pandemic? I am disappointed. I bought it for the comfort as much as the looks and quality. Also the material chose for durability's rough, not very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend.
