I was not properly shown how to properly navigate through the technology that exists in my new GMC truck. They are all bout the money. They provide poor value for trade in and even worse for the product the are selling. I love my GMC truck but will purchase and service elsewhere going forward. A person would do well to avoid this dealership.

Our vehicle has been at Carl Black now for a month waiting on parts from GM. While I know Carl Black cannot help the current situation with the strike, communication from the dealership has been disappointing to say the least. Every time I call it takes multiple phone calls to get someone to call me back. When I do get a hold of somebody, it's usually just two words and it's usually just no update. When I inquire as to what GM is letting the dealership know about parts and distribution, again, no information. They have not offered to make this process any easier on its customers. They have not offered the opportunity for a courtesy car, or any type of resolution. The biggest issue I have seen so far is nobody in the facility has a clue about what is going on and are doing their best to avoid customer questions.I even called today to get the email for the general manager over the dealership and the general manager over service and the female receptionist was reluctant and I had to be aggressive on the phone just to get her to give me the information. Do better Carl Black! You're in business because of your customers. We bought our first car from Carl Black in 2000. And up to this point, we have been satisfied. But a month for a headliner and carpet is excessive. Not to mention it took you three weeks just to diagnose my car.

I will not be buying from Carl Black again.I called around to multiple dealerships to ask if they had a "mandatory" dealer additional cost over MSRP, Carl Black told me no they didn't. On Jan 4 2022 I went into the dealership to place an order for a Chevrolet Suburban Z71 with the 6.2 V8. I had met with their top salesman, Alex. I again asked if there was a mandatory dealer add over MSRP, was told no once again. We shook hands and placed the order for the vehicle. (After I left, I communicated I wanted a sunroof, we had to order a 2nd because the first didn't have a sunroof, this is relative to a later issue)2 months later, the vehicle arrives, we go to do all the paperwork and there is the mandatory fee of $3xxx. Alex tells me we will work it off when we trade this Suburban in on the next one with the sunroof (this was at the height of used vehicle prices, they would mark it up and sell at a high price very quickly. The sunroof would still be $1500 or maybe free depending on the trade value at the time). I kept asking about the replacement Suburban, month after month they said any day. Finally was told it was "cancelled" by Chevrolet and we could try to reorder for the next year's model. The vehicle base price had increased $1500 and the used market calmed down, I would end up losing on it in the end.I elected to keep the Suburban, it just got a new engine at 28,400 miles.I should have waited and found a dealer anywhere else to get it at MSRP rather than pay the premium to a dealer 45 mins away from my house.

After the sale, you can FORGET about getting good service! I purchased a 2022 Yukon XL brand new. At the time, chips weren't available for certain features but I was assured I'd receive a retrofit with 12-18 months. January 2024 will be 2 years....nothing.Aside from that, I've had numerous issues with this truck and service is a joke, that's putting it nicely! They don't seem to know what they're doing and can't communicate at all! I've been there 2x for the same issue and now the same service error is popping up again and I've been trying to talk to someone about it for 3 days. Multiple calls, messages for call backs and still NOTHING!

DO NOT GO HERE! Their service department has a reputation of taking high end cars on joy rides. It happened to a friend's C8. He was able to monitor their drive via the car's recorder. They abused the car!On top of that their service management sucks. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CHARACTERS!!

Went 3 different car dealerships- looking for a YUKON ... and was completely unsatisfied with the customer service-- as I was heading home .. I seen a dealership . They had SUV . Every where - (. Exactly what I was looking for ). so I decided to stop. Right away when me and my husband got out the car - a guy came out and greet us ., ( his name was NICK ) he ask us a couple questions and SHOW US .. this beautiful YUKON SUV - it had everything we wanted in a SUV. But he told us the one was already SOLD ... but he had another one (IDENTICAL) at his sister store. Nick grab us some water and some snacks for my kids. ...while putting us a great DEAL TOGETHER .. next thing I know I was signing paper work -- suv was transported to CARL BLACK DEALERSHIP and ALREADY Getting detail and clean. NICK did an amazing job .. He was straight to the point ... and honest with the entire process ... no hidden fees ... the customer service was 10 STARS. .. I LOVE MY NEW SUV . Thank you for being a great salesman... NICK. really appreciate you ‼

Hopefully I will be updating this with a much better review and more starsMy wife and I were in town due to not being able to vacation with family due to Hurricane Ian. I am currently stationed in Norfolk, Virginia but from West Georgia, I maintain my residence, license, address, home of record etc.. in Georgia as we plan on moving back. Naturally it makes things easier to purchase in Georgia. So instead of flying back we figured we could get a well needed vehicle

So check it out, I live in California, and I was on a huge road trip, where I went basically from California to Toronto, Canada, and then I zigzag my way down towards Florida and of course I was going go back to California. Just outside of Atlanta I started having trouble with my 2022 GMC 2500 Denali and I was super frustrated. It wasn't the very first time that I was having problems with his truck, I already had a case open with General Motors and what's really funny is I was in Detroit staring at the General Motors high-rise building when the problem started. I finally got a hold of someone who thought they had a solution, they introduced me to Carl black GMC and they have a division in the back that specializes on the big 2500 & 3500 trucks. So I drove from Detroit down to Atlanta and I basically drop the vehicle off with the service department and to make a long story super short the guy in charge. His name is Tracy and he was absolutely awesome. Not only did he fix the vehicle, but he went out of his way to make sure I wasn't any more inconvenienced than I already was. They needed a truck for over a week so I basically flew home, we're back to work and when the truck was ready, I flew back out, picked up the truck and drove it all the way back to California. The truck is completely fixed and guys it has already been to multiple dealerships multiple times for the same problem and again call black GMC fixed it the very first time they had it. It's safe to say that the guys at Carl black really know what they're doing and if you need some special attention talk to Tracy because he's awesome.

We had an excellent experience at Carl Black of Kennesaw. We were immediately approached by Stephen DeCastro when we pulled in. He was extremely helpful and took us to a Tahoe that was a perfect match for us. Stephen was knowledgeable, efficient, and honest during our entire car buying experience. We highly recommend purchasing a vehicle here (& be sure to ask for Stephen)!

Very Veteran Unfriendly, Changes Prices, Rude and Makes You Sign Blank Paperwork! Vets and all customers beware! Bought a truck that I built and ordered. After it was built was given a final price that included all taxes, fees and dealer charges and the truck was delivered in a few weeks. Price increased over $1,000 during delivery and all they say is prices increased with no details. I had to argue quite a bit and have pictures of the 2 different amounts. They also refuse to accept the GMC Veterans Discount PIN after getting approved as well as supplier discount PINs. USAA uses a voucher to make life easy for people buying vehicles and the dealer and bank are supposed to take all the funding on the back end. Carl Black refuses to accept USAA Financing. The completely rude finance manager said "I am not taking that! You can't have the truck until you put a check or cash in my hand!" and he got up and left his office. Very unprofessional employees! They knew I had my own financing through USAA but waited until the final moment to pull this stunt. While finally signing all the paperwork on the last visit I was forced to sign blank paperwork including the application for title. Picture posted. When I refused, they told me I can't have the truck. I have been waiting months for this truck and decided to take pics and sign. I followed up with the GA Department of Revenue and yes this is 100% illegal. Its pretty ironic that a company that has major Veterans Day celebrations flying huge American Flags will not work with Veterans and make everything so difficult and do not honor GMC PINs for Veterans or supplier discounts. Just stay away, I bought an extended warranty from another nearby dealership because I will not give Carl Black any money. They will never see any of my GM vehicles again, for anything at all. They do not care about customers, no details on order process and they don't even know how it works, A quick google, and I figured it out but they should let customers know. I got all my own updates because Dealer just said I don't know they don't tell us anything until its delivered. I just cant believe how rude the Finance Managers were in this dealership. I have noticed an attorney on the paperwork, I am writing to all nearby American Legion and VFW posts to caution them and am also following up with BBB and GMC.

RUN! Worst car buying experience of my life, I was mislead several times during the process and now don't yet have my vehicle that I paid for on 12/26. I also am having a hard time getting in touch with anyone at the dealership except the poor Inventory Manager who doesn't know what to tell me. Left several messages for the GM since last Friday and no calls back, still waiting on a call back from last Friday (7 days ago) at 9am from the Sales Manager. Long story short, went to the dealer in 12/26 purchased a Yukon XL that was In Transit and was promised it would arrive in the next couple of days or end of that week at the latest....here I am 2 weeks later no car. The Inventory Manager has told me they have no control on when a vehicle is delivered and is not sure why the Sales Manager would have told me they knew when it would be in AND that's she has several people waiting 2+ months still for vehicles In transit. I feel the sales manager lied to get me to sign the dotted line and get a sale before the end of month/year and now won't speak to me about it and has pushed me to someone else (inventory manager). I understand there are delays in shipping everywhere but if you know you are having shipping issues then don't make a promise on when a car will be there. If someone at the dealership had once picked up the phone to explain to me what was going or even say sorry we messed up I would not be writing this post but not one person has taken accountability for their shady sales practices or the fact I needed my vehicle this week and they didn't deliver.

Just bought a Tahoe here. They refused to sell me the car without forcing me to buy dealer options I didn't order or want (example $1k paint protection). They also told me they would accept a Chevy rebate over the phone, but then refused to accept it once I arrived. This dealership is not honest and will over price you. The two sales people I talked to should be fired for bad customer service and I'll never buy here again.

I recently worked with Carl black to purchase a new Denali. Over the course of a week we agreed on the car and scheduled an appointment 12-7 to purchase the car. I went ahead and sold my wife's car that morning to make room for the new car. That afternoon I went in to finalize all the papers and make the payment. After signing everything and making the payment the finance guy said "give me a second" and walked out. The manager came in a few minutes later and told me that they had already sold the car to someone else and said "sorry" for the mistake. Obviously cars are extremely hard to come by right now so they did not have any other cars to buy. They ended up giving me a loaner car and called me a week later saying that they had a car being delivered Christmas Eve. I went back in to sign the paperwork on this car because I trusted what they said. Well it's now 12-26 and I still don't have a car. I have had several other dealerships call me saying they have the car I am looking for but now I'm stuck because I have already signed the paperwork. I even put a deposit on another car 12-7 the day the first deal fell through. The other dealer told me they would have a car on the 26th and actually had it early. I would have bought from them had I not signed all the paperwork with Carl black because I trusted they would deliver on their promises. The point of all this is Carl Black made multiple promises that didn't come through and there are so many other options and dealers to work with that actually deliver on the promises they make. I just bought a bmw for myself during this whole ordeal and what a stark contrast between these two experiences. Unbelievable top notch service and experience vs the stereotypical bad car buying experience. Anyone looking for a gmc has been warned. Stay far away from this place.
