Good evening,
I wanted to take a moment to share our experience with the Town Center Mall (Kennesaw, GA) location. My husband and I were looking for a specific pair of tennis shoes - after searching every store that sold shoes and being told they didn’t carry the correct size, we checked in at JD Sports.
There was a young woman standing by the door that I noticed out of the corner of my eye but we weren’t greeted and she wasn’t helping the multiple other people in the women’s section so I assumed she was a customer. We found the shoe we were looking for so I asked the first associate we saw if he was able to help us find the correct size. Without saying a word, he pointed to the young lady by the door and walked away.
I turned and looked at the young lady, who saw the interaction, and watched her turn around and roll her eyes. Interesting approach to customer service. She recomposed herself and stared at us until I blatantly said “Can you help us find a size?” (Even though she heard the conversation with the gentleman).
She responded “what shoe?” I told her what shoe, she took it off the shelf and walked away. Did not ask my size, did not state she would be back, just walked away. Another customer stopped her on her way to the back room, and I assumed asked for a shoe also.
5 or so minutes later, she returned, asked me size to which I responded. She was a good 20 feet away and just said “huh?” with a poor attitude. She turned and walked away again
After another few minutes she returned, took the shoe out of the box, handed it to me, and walked away. Took the other shoe and the box somewhere and left my husband and I there. I tried it on and decided I was not comfortable spending money in a store where we were being treated as if we were burdens.
The quality of employee a store chooses to keep on staff can seriously alter the success of the company. Unfortunately, out of all of the stores in the mall, JD Sports was the only store with my size and we STILL chose not to spend our money there. I hope this is not a typical experience for this store, however, we witnessed multiple other potential customers walk out for not being serviced, as well.

A shoe store where you can't try both shoes on and walk?
A staff that has an attitude that has no interest in service.
Don't bother coming here, go online and buy, and these stores deserve to go bankrupt.

I came in to get my husband a pair of shoes for his birthday. The staff seemed to have their hands full with all the other customers that were in the store as well. There was this lady who was giving the managers a hard time as it seemed like she was very frustrated about her shoes. The one manager Yanice handled the situation very professionally and didn’t raise her voice or get visibly upset when this lady was yelling in her face. She called customer service and I’m assuming told them what was going on, and after she hung up let the lady know that she was getting a replacement shoe. The whole time while she was getting screamed at by this customer with a horrible attitude she had a very understanding attitude and was very helpful. After the customer left and it was my turn to check out out, she said “thank you so much for your patience. I really appreciate it” with a smile and it made me believe that not all retail workers have a chip on their shoulder!!

Maybe just maybe if your associates would worry less about flirting with each other than your sales might see an increase. Can't even get help because they want to be in each other's faces basically kissing while there's a store full of people trying to get help

The experience at this location was HORRIBLE !
Jasayia “Excuse the spelling. “However, this young lady was so unprofessional, condescending, and arrogant All I asked was is there anyone sales associates on the floor. This young lady had to take a moment and look at me as if I offended her. She responded by saying “AND IT IS !! Her tone delivery was passive aggressive . So, I decided at that very moment to place the sneaker on the counter and leave. Why would I want to spend money at a store. Where I’m being provided poor service. Just by a question I asked. As I headed to exit out the store. Her goes Jasayia “ BYE ! HAVE GOOD DAY !! She couldn’t control herself I let it go once I placed the shoe on the counter. So I preceded back to the register to get the young lady name and the store number Jasayia stuck her tongue out at me , Pointed at me did a posed
When I asked a young lady that was on the register the store # she provided me 0069. I didn’t think this would be the incorrect store #. I will find out who she is as well. That goes to show me that this staff doesn’t take their responsibility as employees of JD Sports seriously. Now Im just waiting on the manager and the district manager to call me.

They need to have more people working in there at peak time. Ones that were there was barely able to get things done. BUT THEY WERE !!!

Horrible customer service! I called to Check status of my order and was on hold until I eventually hung up. I drove to the store to see if I could just ask for a status since I was around the corner. Order was not ready even though it was supposed to be ready the day before.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER...INCOMPENT STAFF AND MANAGEMENT. Unorganized, inefficient, slower than molasses, no sense of urgency, uncaring, lackadaisical, and overall...poor professionalism. The staff couldn't care less or locate anything...even one shoe, that was supposed to be already in the box. The manager, Tamara told me to "expect this during the holidays, and that I should expect this" Really? If anything...a good manager would prepare herself and staff for the holidays and strive for customer satisfaction. Her team found her to be funny, especially the cashier, who was at best...incapable. regardless, they lost a loyal and long-term customer, along with a significant sale. Highly unrecommended.

Horrible company owned by Finish line. I spent $200 on shoes and have no product and they were supposed to refund me 7 days ago and still have not refunded my account and they refuse to let me go to store to get my money my kid will not have school shoes because of them don’t waste your time ordering online from them horrible customer service cashiers have no knowledge of there job

The Manager “Avery” backdoors all the dunks or hot releases. Don’t bother asking for anything because he will lie and tell You they don’t have them or they’re sold out. He Only sells to his other buddies or the resell store located directly across the hall.

Waited for over 30 minutes to get a pair of shoes from the back. They brought the wrong size to the register took another 10 minutes and shoes didn't come out yet. So we just left with no shoes and went to a different store. Slowest and worst customer service I've ever seen. With all these 1 star reviews you would think the owner would reevaluate the staff. Awful store do not shop here

Everyone in this store seems like they’re sad and ready to go home. The customer service is so poor here and I can’t for the life of me understand how you only except military discount on certain shoes … makes absolutely no sense! If military discount is offered in the store, how do you THEN choose which items to accept it on??? Never ever shopping here again. They should really take this store out of Town Center Mall.
