I’m extremely disappointed with this pharmacy’s flawed policy regarding compound tirzepatide refills, especially amid a national medication shortage. Their system only allows refills for patients who have taken their exact prescribed dose, failing to account for those who have had to ration their medication due to limited availability.
Like many others, I was forced to adjust my dosage because pharmacies couldn’t fill my prescription on time. Now, because I didn’t take every dose exactly as prescribed (due to no fault of my own), I’m suddenly ineligible for my refill. This policy is not only unfair but actively harms patients who are doing their best to manage a difficult situation.
Pharmacies should be helping patients navigate shortages, not punishing them for adapting to circumstances beyond their control.

I received a refund for my Tirzepatide and called this pharmacy, who refills my prescriptions. When I spoke to a representative in the pharmacy they transferred me to “accounts payable” even though I told them it was not a billing issue. The woman that I spoke with in accounts payable was extremely rude and condescending and told me I had to “take it up with BioTE.” I explained to her my situation and told her she did not need to be rude when talking to me. She didn’t care. She continued to be rude and just kept repeating herself. I wish I had her name so I could report her to her supervisor but she hasn’t greeted me, nor did she say her name. When I told her, “Ok, I’ll contact my provider,” she rudely hung up on me. I wasn’t even finished talking. SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE. And ma’am, if you don’t like your job, then get a new one!

Placed an order on Nov 21st. Was told it would take 5-7 days to compound and would ship. Waited 2 weeks, called for update, they said they were out of the strength that was prescribed but okayed it with Dr to increase to the next dosage and said it was currently in compound and would likely ship the following Monday. Now to today, called AGAIN, bc it was supposed to have already shipped. NOW they are out of the one that was supposed to have already compounded and shipped and they have the ORIGINAL script strength. It's been absolutely nothing but a hassle and still no clue when meds will ship.
EDIT:: after the last phone call, we were told it would ship the following day, but, the following day a delivery van pulled up and they had gotten the med to us the following day. They did also try to reach out to rectify the situation, but, we were unable to take the call. I just want to say thank you for the prompt resolution and I look forward to working with you guys in the future

I have been disappointed with the delay in receiving my compounded script. I had been told it would be put on automatic renewal since only a 30 supply was permitted. I called to check and was told on 10/7 that it would take 5-7 days for delivery. It is now 10/22 and I just received word that it has shipped today. I needed the medication last week. How can this process be improved. Very disappointed on the lack of follow up.
On 10/24 I received an apology from one of the innovative compounding managers. She credited my account which was very kind and unexpected on my part and explained that there had been yet another change in procedures pertaining to 30 day vs.90 day scripts and their team was actively engaged in meeting these demands. I have been a client of innovative compounding for some time and this was the only time I have had any issues. I greatly appreciated the phone call I received which shows that someone actually reads the reviews and then promptly acted upon a customer concern. And more importantly to me, I did receive my medication this very day.

You'll get better service at CVS. It's a long story that I won't waste time going into. Bottom line, seems that Innovation is just too busy to give good customer service. I found a smaller pharmacy that took much better care of me.

Can't get in touch with anyone with the email provided for help. Can't send a password reset request due to the buttons not working on the page. Automatic refills won't stop! I have reached out to no avail.

My doctor sent my prescription electronically on June 7th. I called Innovation later that morning to make sure they received it. After several attempts to actually talk to someone, I finally got someone on the line who took my payment and confirmed the prescription would be filled. 10 days later no prescription. June 17th I get a text from Innovation stating they have received a prescription to be filled for me and to call them. I called only to find out it was regarding my original prescription received June 7th. It was still not filled, it was on hold to be verified by the pharmacist. I was told it would be soon. Today it's June 20 and still no prescription. I will be transferring my prescriptions tomorrow.

If you need your rx in a hurry, you won’t get it here! After prepaying over 400.00 I’ve been waiting for over 2 weeks with no meds!! They have several stages to getting your RX filled. Once you pay it goes into quarantine ( whatever that is) then they fill it then it has to be “ verified” by a pharmacist (?) then they will call you when it’s ready to pick up. I will be switching pharmacies.

I have been a client here for a few years. They provide excellent customer service and very efficient especially my pharmacist Brad. He is very knowledgeable and truly cares about his patient. I can go to him with very personal questions and he is very easy to talk with and very personable, it’s almost like having a conversation with your friend. He is a huge asset to the company and I’m very grateful for his professionalism.

Horrible customer service here. 2nd time in a row when I ordered online and I had to follow-up to find out they did not have my order or they did not process my order because they did not hear back from my doctor (after 3 weeks).

I don’t know how this pharmacy is still in business…I got a rash and the doctor sent over the prescription to innovative compounding. I tried calling them to see when it would be ready for pick up but no answer, then I drove to the pharmacy and their door was locked, called the number on curbside delivery and they said that they would need 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS to prepare the medication (and I need to pay in advance) lol they can’t differentiate between urgent and nonurgent requests. Didn’t wait one second, called my doctor to change pharmacies, and I received my medication 5 hours later (same day). Also, the other pharmacy didn’t request any payment in advance, no pharmacy should ever do that…don’t waste your time…unless you don’t mind waiting7-10 business days for a refill

For the last two years, Innovation Compounding was my go to pharmacy for my medication until they raised the price of my medication three-fold. They reduced the shelf life of my medication from three months to one, and kept the price the same.
