Visited this ford location Recently and was very impressed by the customer service that me and my family were given. I was assisted by Curtis and buck. They got me driving a new car the same day, Highly recommend this location. Ask to speak with Curtis

Got my car serviced here twice and there is an abnormally long wait time during service. Also poor communication. Staff member went on lunch break and never updated me that my car was ready. I would recommend going to Woodstock Ford.

We had an amazing experience selling our used car at this dealership today. Ron was the gentleman who helped us and he was truly an amazing person to do business with. Ford is lucky to have an employee like him. Easy to relate and talk to and makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. Best of all, he’s quick to get the work done. Very nice, friendly and courteous. Gave my husband and I such wonderful customer service. Ron - thank you! Everyone in any customer facing role could learn a lot from you.

Jim Tidwell Ford will make it right.Been taking my 2021 Ford Transit 350 for service there since I got the vehicle. The last time for service I have had some issues with how the work was completed.Being in the service industry myself I understand when something goes wrong it’s really how you help the client.Well that’s what Josh Bass and his team did for me.They corrected everything and communicated through the entire processes.

Let me preface- I have been going to get service on my vehicle here ever since I’ve started driving (8+ years). ONLY HERE. Nothing special, but usually is okay. Not today! I came in at 9:25AM, and was there for over 2 and a half hours. At 11:50 I inquired the status on my car and was told that they have not started on my car.I wish someone would have told me up front that it was going to be a long wait, or let me know an hour in it was going to take awhile. 2 and a half hours and NOTHING.Again- I’ve been going here for over 8 years, and I will not be back.Don’t come here if you don’t want to waste your whole day!

The worst store where I left my vehicle to be fixed, my car had a Recall problem and Ford Jim Tidwell along with his entire team refuses to fix my vehicle, my Van Ford Transit has been in this store for four months, waiting for parts that I I already bought it and took it to them to put it on, but they don't, I send emails to the attendant Michael but he doesn't answer his manager doesn't do anything about it, I can't stand it anymore, I'll have to remove my vehicle from this place and take it to another ford that there are more responsible people, if you have a Ford vehicle, do not take it to this store, look for another one, because there are only irresponsible people here. I really regret having left my vehicle here!

Great Dealership, fantastic selection of vehicles New and used. My family has been buying cars from this dealership for years because Jim Tidwell is far better than Pugmire Ford in Cartersville. The reason I’m giving 3 Stars is the experience I received last Friday from this one salesman who practically told me that my 22’ F-150 SuperCab was worthless. Now I can understand if the truck was in bad shape that it would be worthless but not a 22 with 8,000 miles and is a little dirty from road dirt and the rain. I understand my truck may have negative equity but it’s not worthless.

The lack of integrity within this dealership is astounding!! I had a car we were looking to sell, and after getting some of the non-firm online offers I had someone from Jim Tidwell Ford reach out asking if I could bring it in for a formal appraisal. I brought it in, and the manager, Jamie, fully appraised it(drove it etc). They saw the check engine light was on, which I had already told them, and that the windshield was cracked. I was then handed an offer of 7k that was good for 1 week(or 250 miles). Later that afternoon I spoke again with Jamie on the phone, who stated that they could increase the purchase offer to $7,500. Knowing I didn’t have it on paper, I asked him “is this a firm offer?”, to which he replied “Yes, this is a firm offer.” The next day I received a call from Mike, a sales associate, asking me if I liked the offer and could I come in to get the deal done. Due to scheduling we weren’t able to come in until Tuesday, still before the offer expired on Thursday. When we arrived, we showed them the signed offer and had everything we needed to sell the car. The man we met with(I can’t remember his name) came back to us and said “Since Jamie was the one to appraise the car and give you the offer, you will have to deal with him on this”. He then gave me Jamie’s number and told us to call him when he was back at work the next day to schedule another time to come in. We were a little peeved since my husband had taken a couple hours off work to come since he’s on the title too, but ok. I called Jamie the next day to say that we would be coming back tomorrow(Thursday) to sell them the car. He asked what time, I told him, and I clarified that the verbal $7,500 was a firm offer, to which he replied “yes it is”. Thursday rolled around and a couple of hours before my appointment I received another call from Jamie to confirm my appointment time to come sell the car, which I did. My husband took off work for the second time to come complete the deal. When we got there for our appointment we waited for about 25min, and then Jamie came out and told us that the used car manager said she isn’t interested in buying the vehicle, and they were defending the offer. Not just the extra $500 he had thrown on top of the offer, but the entire offer all together. We then spoke with the used car manager who declined the sale. She said because the check engine light was on and the windshield was cracked, it didn’t make sense for them to buy the vehicle, and that the offer is contingent on the condition of the vehicle. I TOTALLY get that they need to protect themselves, and if it had originally been appraised with those problems not existing, of course they reserve the right to pull the offer. However, both of those things were there when they appraised it and handed me a WRITTEN and SIGNED offer to purchase my vehicle.Like I said, I understand that purchasing a car with the check engine light on is risky. If they had originally declined upon the initial appraisal, I totally get it. But the fact that they called me multiple times affirming the offer, told us to come back in a second time when Jamie was there to handle the purchase(making my husband take off work for the second time), and then STILL didn’t have the integrity to honor the SIGNED purchase offer they gave me…I’m flabbergasted. I can not stress this enough…their word means nothing, do NOT trust them with your business!!

My first post was flagged, it appears Jim Tidwell Ford has a problem with my interaction with them. I am very unhappy with the experience I had with Jim Tidwell Ford. To start my sales person was very pushy and started off right away with wanting to fill out a credit application. At this point I had only inquired on a vehicle, that is it. After getting my agenda settled out with my sales person we moved to my trade appraisal, which at the point I was working with several other dealers at the time, the trade appraisal came back thousands of dollars lower than offers I had already been given. I informed my sales person of this and that I would need X amount of money to continue forward. After some time and more talking they did eventually get to a price on my trade I could agree on. At this point I wanted to move forward with the pricing on their vehicle I was interested in which I did plan on using a Ford Z plan on. I informed my sales person I qualify for Ford Z plan pricing and would like to see that pricing for the vehicle. When I was given the pricing for Z plan they retracted their previous offer for my trade and made an offer of $2,000.00 less. This is unacceptable and hostile towards Ford A/Z plan recipients. The price of my vehicle has nothing to do with the price of Fords A/Z plan program pricing. I informed my sales person this is bad business and I would not be continuing with them. I also plan to file a complaint with Ford Motor Company Corporate in hopes to have some sort of resolution of this sort of business practice.I would provide proof of the conversation; however, I am trying to avoid my review getting flagged yet again.

There are many good dealerships out there, who honor their offers. I know, because I’ve worked with many of them over the years. Based on my experience recently, this dealership is not one of them.I had a used car to sell, and went to CarGurus to get a quote. I entered both the VIN and the mileage. The result for Jim Tidwell Ford stated, “Congratulation, your offer is here! $5,986.” So I scheduled a time to go to the dealership to complete the transaction. I expected that they might want to dicker a bit on price, and was prepared to do that. However, within ten minutes they offered $1500 instead. For the same vehicle with the same VIN and the same mileage. No flexibility on price. No openness to a counteroffer. Take it or leave it. So I left. There was a major disparity between what they said to get me on the lot, compared to what they said once I got there, and I won’t do business with organizations like that.I sold the car the next day to another dealership who honored their offer, which was well above the lowball offer from Jim Tidwell Ford.Buyer, and Seller, Beware.

I am not happy with the way my deal was handled. I purchased a used vehicle and 2 days later the check engine light came on. I had to have the vehicle towed 40miles back to the dealership on my dime. While they did make attempts to fix the vehicle twice, I was inconvenienced in too many ways. I’m missing my best friends wedding this weekend due to them having to buy the car back. No accommodation was made to rectify the time I’m now have off or missing such an important event. Or that I can’t purchase a new vehicle until they pay the current one off which can take up to ten days. I month of this only to have to wait ten more days. While I understand things happen I also feel they could have made accommodations so I didn’t have to miss out on the trip and waste unpaid vacation time. I definitely wouldn’t send anyone I know there anymore.

Outstanding service on my 2003 Ford Sport Trac by the lead rep Jonny and the maintenance team. With 180,000 miles on the vehicle things are bound to come up and have twice this summer. Both times am- I received great service and quality repairs. Jim Tidwell Gord has changed my mind about getting a vehicle serviced at a dealer! Great job, guys!
