They shouldn’t call it clearance center. They should call it furniture junkyard. All I saw was mismatched and broken items all over. Some may benefit from their selection of mattresses. I regretted driving all the way there.

Purchasing a furniture at Macy's furniture has been the worst experience ever and never again! On Black Friday the sales rep called to increase my credit limit and after 40 mins on hold the credit dept denied it. Couldn't get furniture and went home. Next day found one online, they couldn't do split payment and asked me to go to store.First I had a very terrible experience with the credit dept trying to purchase the furniture. I was given so much run around. I was originally approved for only $600 and the furniture was $1200, I tried to apply the $600 credit to the purchase and pay the rest with my debit card - the online customer service said they couldn't accept partial payment and to go to store, even though the furniture was online. I went in to the store for the second time to get some help and finally got a very kind sales rep who tried to help me do a split payment, that took an hour. I had to purchase a macys gift card for $650 to pay for the furniture and rest to go on my macys card. After applying the gift card, and she tried to apply the balance of $600 to the Macy's card since I was only approved for $600 it won't let her. It asked for an approval code on a card that was already approved from the day before. She called the credit dept to get an authorization code and was denied one. She asked for a supervisor on my behalf and after holding for what seemed like eternity some ride lady answered and demanded to speak to me. She asked me my name and some personal info all over again and then told me I will have to wait for 3 weeks to get some letter in the mail. She won't discuss with me what I was to expect neither would she give us the authorization code to complete the purchase. When I asked her what has all this got to do with applying my Macy's credit limit of $600 to the order, she asked me to hold and left me on that phone for a good 45 mins. The sales rep had to get on another phone and call back again in hopes of getting some one else. In the meantime the transaction times out and she had to start all over again. After an hour of trying to convince the credit dept that I was already approved from day before for a credit card and all we were trying to do was apply the $600 limit I was given, they had already denied me an increase of the limit to cover the entire furniture from the night before on Black Friday when another sales rep tried to calm them for an increase, a manager got involved and after several tries with approval codes, the transaction went through finally. It took 3 hrs to resolve and pay for a purchase that supposedly was to be taken care of online but due to Macy's limitations I was given so much runaround, then waited two weeks to get the furniture and paid $245 white glove delivery only for it to arrive, the sleeper sofa section was torn, there was no holes in the legs to attach to the furniture, one of the legs was broken, and the delivery guys had to sit the furniture literally with no legs on the floor and contacted the macys team for new parts. I was informed I have to wait another week for someone to come out with the parts to try to inspect and fix the legs and put the wheels to the sleeper. Very disappointing experience overall and needless to say I finally got the letter in the mail from Macy's approving me for macys card for same $600 limit but denying me for Macy's American Express which I never asked for nor applied for - I guess they took the liberty to offer me one and without my knowledge and denied me for whatever reason - unbelievable. I sure will never purchase anything from Macy's and soon as I pay off their $600 limit they gave me I will close the account and do business elsewhere. I recently bought a home but yet couldn't get Macy's to offer me a decent limit without the hassle - go figure.

Showed up multiple days in a row, one day there was no one on the entire floor. I have been trying to buy a mattress but the sales people are either rude, unhelpful, or no where to be found. The one I want is literally sitting on the salesfloor as I type this up but I am unable to buy it because no one is around to ring me up.

Great prices on furniture and mattresses. The older gentleman that works there has been very helpful both times that I’ve visited this section.

Huge location with multiple floors of furniture products on display, including one level with clearance (mostly mismatched or single/limited pieces from sets), mattresses, and rugs. Showroom was well organized and spacious. Although, very little customer service help available; observed maybe one or two employees per floor level and showroom spaces. Connected entrance/exit also with the mall.

This place needs to hire some the clearance department on the second floor is absolutely a mess nothing is organized and I wouldn't consider it it looked to me like there was possibly four people working in the whole it's probably because they don't want to pay living wages that they don't have any help but I don't know but I will not be returning there and I have shopped at Macy's for 25 years with buying furniture but not this store

You have to go in with patience. It is more of a warehouse or depot feel. With that said the furniture is high quality and priced well. Don't go unless you have a few hours and the right clothes for moving, bending, squating, and reaching that this Scavenger Hunt will take you on.

If you buy furniture here be wary of the "worry no more" scam. I was told if I bought the extended warranty I would be covered for any issues, but in reality it was a huge hassle that required over 15 hours on the phone and 3 in person trips to the store. They even sent a technician to my home initially to look at it and say "yep. This needs to be replaced" and then he just left without doing it because they "forgot" the part. Once they finally decided to handle it, they just reimbursed me about half the value of the damaged product and told me to handle it myself.I should have just used the manufacturer's warranty on the bed frame, but was told this would void the worry no more warranty, but they both conflict with each other so I was screwed either way. The real cherry on the cake though is that after "paying me out" half on the damaged goods, they told me they won't cover it anymore, so the "10 year warranty" can only be used ONCE during the 10 years.
