The doctors are great. But the side where you get glasses and contacts to me is suspicious. You never see their "calculations" and I was recently told that even tho I have an insurance allowance of $200, it would cost me $400 to get glasses. And it wasn't like I picked anything expensive. However I could purchase certain glasses for less than that. The whole process to me is wirrd.

Had a great experience here with Dr. Gamba, as well as the optical assistant (can't remember her name, but she has sweet rainbow crocs). Check in was good! Front desk was pleasant and efficient. Even with a full waiting area, things were moving along smoothly. It was my daughters first eye exam (5yr), and they were so kind and great with kids. They did a great job explaining everything to me, and involved my daughter in the conversations about what was going on. Clean facility, professional staff, efficient management. Thank you!

Exam was great, picking a new pair went well. Then they gave me the cost, which was pay on the spot. A month later I got a bill for 30% more. Contact their billing department and was told the amount given was just an estimate. Never have I ever been given an estimate just the total amount. Stay clear of this office.

Can you say NASTY ATTITUDE!! Sad how one woman's gross attitude can mess it up for an entire business. I'm NEVER going there again....all I wanted was to be spoken to with respect. Get a better receptionist. Summer however is great on the phone...Thanks

I would like to say a big thank you to Dr Tieu and Alec for taking such good care of me! I had an eye issue and they both have been so kind and concerned and making sure my eye is healing properly! They are such a great team! I am so pleased with Alec and Dr Tieu! Thank you for everything … if you need a great team to take care of you… this is the team!

Wow I just needed a eye exam and I have been waiting 1 hour and a half just to see the optometrist, they did all the other stuff but why can't they till me they are running behind. Plus they send so many confirmations to make sure you are coming in for your appointment. This is ridiculous. Don't know if I'll ever come back.

I went in for an eye exam for myself and daughter on 6/19/23. The exam was great. The assistant manager Jyrell Reaves walked over to us explained the benefits and told us to look for glasses. My 9 year old does not like to wear glasses but found pair that she loved. Jyrell asked her to put the glasses on gave a weird look and said let me help you find another pair. Another female employee laughed and that was it for me. My daughter started crying and hiding her face in shame. I told him he was extremely unprofessional and instead of apologizing he said I was just trying to show her something else. I know rhe goal is to upsell but at the cost of embarrassing kids??? After I calmed my baby down which was hard because we were sitting across from the unbothered "manager" I asked my daughter if she still wanted the glasses and she said yes. He asked her to try the glasses on marked them with a marker collected our payment and gave us our paper work. When I got in my car I realized he didn't give me a copy of my prescription and I feel like he did that because I didn't get glasses. I went back inside to get my script and asked him to apologize to my child. He sighed heavily and gave a dry apology. Needless to say I never experienced this level of unprofessional service at this location. I always come to get my check up and this by far was the worst experience I ever had in my life and to think this is how the manager is treating people. Something needs to be done.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!! Went in a second time to get my son measured for contacts and says I can’t get any information about his appointment we paid for until he takes a class. Then Kylie made my family feel like an inconvenience by telling me if I didn’t have CareSource insurance (Medicaid) I’d be paying over $800 for my visit, and wouldn’t give me any information from my sons tests that were ran on him. Also told me his doctor order him to get thinner glass lenses but she wasn’t going to do that for him. Told me she had to charge me for other services otherwise his vision would be worse. My sons upset, I’m upset and his father went in to ask what happened and Kylie approached him very disrespectful, talking over him, and when I called to get my money back she did the same thing to me over the phone. I will NEVER come to this company ever! Save your money and find somewhere else! No one should leave a practice in tears! I am on Medicaid while I’m in school full time as a single parent. I try my best, and having someone judge you disrespectfully over insurance is beyond me.

I brought two of my kids to this location and my goodness, I can’t say enough good things about this place! The wait times were very minimal, the staff were so nice/professional and it was very clean. I am so glad I was able to get care for my children from Dr.Tieu and Dr. Prichard. Also, the assistant Meredith was beyond awesome! She (and another assistant whose name I didn’t catch) made my girls have a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend this location to all who are in need!

Let me start by saying Dr. Tieu and his assistants, particularly Alex, are awesome. The opticians are pretty good and friendly. The front desk people, on the other hand, are needing some help in the area of customer service. This location closes at 5:00- most of the other My Eye Doctor locations are open until 6:00. I was stuck in traffic less than a mile away when I realized this. I called and begged them to please let us in, as the repair should have only taken a few minutes. Her response was “the doors lock at 5.” She was sympathetic about the traffic that I had now sat in for no reason at all, but wasn’t willing to wait even one minute later so I could get a repair that would take just a few minutes. Nope. We pulled up at five on the dot and sure enough, locked doors.Now, all 5 people in my family have been patients at this practice for many years, since way before My Eye Dr took it over. We have spent thousands of dollars there. I’m a teacher who has to be in the classroom by the time they open, so I can’t come by first thing in the morning, it would mean having to take a half day off at the last minute and writing sub plans. I realize I was asking them to go above and beyond with their customer service, but literally we were there right at 5, so what actual difference in their time would it have made if we walked in one minute earlier? I could understand if it was 15 minutes after closing, but this was just a great example of how not to treat a long time, loyal client. And I am not the first to complain about a less than obliging front desk at this location.

I have been a patient at MyEyeDr. for more than 15, even before they became MyEyeDr. Though I have been satisfied with their services in the past, my last experience has been the worse since I have been a patient. I ordered glasses over one month ago, and my glasses were supposed to be here by April 6, I have made several attempts to pick up my glasses only to be given a bunch of broken promises. Every time I inquired about picking up my glasses there is always a different excuse. Tyrell called me last week to tell me that my glasses were mailed out on April 11, and I would receive them by April 13-14, but I received a called from Kylie on April 13, (who promised me she would get the lenses), and make me a pair of temporary glasses! I never received the temporary lenses she offered, but she called to tell me the original lenses were broken when they put them in the frame. (Tyrel said they were mailed so when were they broken)? I called back yesterday to check the status and Trina told me that she would have someone call me back with an update but I haven’t heard anything as of yet. ???

My eyelab in Woodstock was closed today and I came here to get my glasses fixed. They were so welcoming and gave me water. They fixed my glasses quickly. Thank you ??

My appointment today was very professional. MyEyeDr. In Kennesaw,Ga. gave me the best patient care experience. It was very informative, affordable and personal. From reception, throughout the eye exam to choosing my frames and lenses. I will continue to refer you to all my friends and colleagues.Thank you for all that you do!

I had scheduled an appointment for 2/4 as it has been a while since I've had my eyes checked. I had to rearrange my entire schedule on the 4th as I was really needing to make it to this appointment. When I showed up (10 min early), there was a sign on the door indicating that they were closed. I understand things come up and sometimes hours of operations will change on the fly, but there was no phone call, email, or text indicating my appointment was cancelled or even rescheduled. I did leave a voicemail indicating to give me a call to discuss and I have yet to hear back from them. I have heard such great things about MyEyeDr., but unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to have a great experience.
