I wish I would have read this before. I took my car. To be fair, they did get my car back up and running but they most definitely ran up the bill, fix things that had nothing to do with the main issue and the. Turned around and obligated me to the payment. They are very dishonest. Skip("owner"), Jeff(front desk person) come off very friendly and smile but are very deceptive. I would most definitely ask for a diagnostic report before proceeding. I would also get a few different opinions from other places first. I had shared a specific budget and it was 2-3 times what I could afford. If I had the time I would find 2-5 more people who can assure the same happen to them and sue! It's just not right times are hard and if your business is not for the community in all facets you shouldn't have one! I also called and the number came up as CNCC LLC or something like that. Making me wonder if Pep Boys Corp franchises their brand. I probably will look into but too many reg flags. Also I had issues related to what they actually worked on and they didn't claim any responsibility. Integrity isn't their thing! If you have money to throw then by all means. I value my income and how it's spent so I was extremely disappointed with the explanations and lack of ability to communicate in the simplest form the step by step process and allowing me to decide what I wanted to take care of as it pertains to what needed to be done in order to advance. I learned a very valuable lesson. I should have made sure everything was clear, never do business over the phone. Also make sure they are clear and considerate of you. Jeff also was not the most competent in explaining anything whatsoever. Ask the appropriate questions and he just shrugs his shoulders and stand silently as if he has no knowledge of what is going on besides what someone else tells him. Talk to the mechanics! Make sure it can be verified by two or three other mechanics outside of that location before proceeding. Research average cost for work as well. Do not take their word for anything!

I took it in for a tire change and they broke my brakes while still swearing up and down they didn't do it and refused to make anything right. For all I know they sabotaged it so they can get more money out of me. If you don't pay for the extra "problems" they find, then they'll just create some so you have to come back anyways!

I had a great experience this week with this location and Skip was awesome and so helpful! I took my car in for an oil change and ended up having to get other work done as well, but they explained what needed to be done, and let me know what the priorities were and what could wait for fixing. Skip was accommodating to my schedule through my work day and they had my car done by the time I was off work which was also helpful. I definitely recommend this pep boys location and even though I live in Marietta, I will drive to this one to get good service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had what looked to me like an oil leak so I dropped my car off on a Wednesday night for them to look at it on Thursday. They called me Thursday and said it was a transmission fluid leak due to my transmission pan being warped, not an oil leak. They also told me that my anti-freeze was just water. I questioned my anti-freeze being water because I moved from the northeast where it gets below zero in the winter. I said if there wasn't anti-freeze in there it would have frozen. They said they would cut that price. This is when I should have left and got my car in somewhere else. So they say that they can't get the part until Friday and then on Friday when I check in on my car they now can't get the part until Saturday. So finally I get my car back 3 days later. I don't use my car on Sunday, but on Monday I come home on my lunchbreak and my car smells again, I look under it and it is leaking. I call them up and they tell me to bring it in. Now they tell me I am leaking oil because my housing unit around my oild filter needs to be replaced. So in my mind there was nothing wrong with my transmission fluid pan and it was just an oil leak all along. They tried to tell me that the technician found both leaks during the first visit, but the transmission was worse so that is the one they fixed. Now if a garage found 2 problems with your car, why wouldn't they tell you about both. The whole situation was unsettling and if I didn't really need my car back I would have tried to get it in somewhere else. This repair took them 2 days to fix. So in a week's time they had my car 5 of those days. I had gone to this same Pep Boys numerous times in the previous year with no issues. I will never go back after this experience.

Amazing great service. Truly don’t find good service anywhere these days but Kelsey, Skip, Jeff and the rest of the crew have been amazing. They are honest, straightforward, respectful and get the job done.They have helped me on multiple occasions with my car and solved my problems.Honestly not even sure why this place doesn’t have a 5 Star rating.Would definitely recommend

Mr. Jeff and his team are the most considerate and professional people I've ever encountered at a tire service. I was headed to the ER with my sick toddler when I got a flat tire alert. I stopped at two other tire shops on the way, neither of which could offer same day service (one didn't even great me after standing in the lobby for 15 mins). Frustrated, I ran to Pepboys desperately looking for help. Jeff was friendly, efficient and very courteous. I will never forget his kindness. I will be sure to come here for future car service needs.

You guys should just change it to appt only. My first trip as a walk in for a tire was about 3 hrs. This time, only 3 weeks later, my tire goes flat (same tire) and pep boys can't squeeze me in to fix a simple tire patch or change after using your services not so long ago. You guys close at 7p and start at 7a but the technician doesn't reach until 9a so can't even bring it in 1st thing in the morning and can't drop it around 2, unless I leave the car until the next day. Really? All of this for a tire. Again, no consideration for the fact I just bought the tire 3 weeks prior. What kinda service is this? The service rep was kind but you all need to reasses how you operate. Again, just change it to appts only. Much more simpler!

General manager was very kind and courteous. He also told me about another problem with my car that I didn't know about, but without being pushy or trying to sell me something. I plan to be a return customer.
