Everyone here is rude. The security guard was rude. The workers inside were rude. That security guard who was working on October 23, 2025 should not be allowed to have a firearm. That man is a danger.

We were seen by representative K.Thomas in the Kennesaw office today. She was very polite and kind. She asked us to explain the reason for our visit and she listened very carefully. Afterwards she got to work on our situation, and did an excellent job working through, and solving the issue. We just want to say thank you, and that you are an asset to the social security administration.

They all seem so angry like we are coming for their money instead of our own money. Luckily I just came in to get clarity on a letter I received. You would swear t did something to Miss Payne. The woman was so rude her listening skills was NONE, her overtaking was so rude you could not get one word out of your mouth. When I asked for a manager, she claimed she can’t get a manager unless there was a problem she can’t solve. Umm mam you were not even listening to the question you ended up being the problem. She claim she would call back I doubt that. She was ready to leave for the day. They need not to hire people like her or keep her away from customer service. Definitely a very angry woman.

Ms. Lisa with the SSA was amazing. I had a 1:13pm EDT phone appointment scheduled today. She called right on time. Ms. Lisa exhibited fantastic telephone soft skills. She was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. I am thankful she was so patient with my many questions and her ability to clarify and address my uncertainties and ease my concerns. AAA+ for a great customer service experience. I wish I knew what office she was out of, because she deserves KUDO's. However, she called from a 646-area code with a 536 prefix.

I have placed documents in the drop box on two separate occasions. I took in documents on 9/17 and 9/26 every time I call to make sure documents has been received they aren’t anywhere to be found. This is the 3rd time this has happened at this office. The staff answering the phones have been very helpful and informative about the system and how things get pushed aside. Messages were sent to the supervisor for rectifying this matter and still nothing. Not a call or anything and on one occasion documents were lost even after meeting with an administrator in the office.

I made an appointment here about a month out as they had more availability than other locations around Atlanta. I was intimidated by the line (out the door 5 minutes after opening) and the parking lot (flooded for some reason and limited parking close by). However once I found a space, I went in, the line was actually just for the metal detector. I checked in online on my phone, went through the metal detector, the security officer was extremely nice and helpful. I waited no more than 2 minutes and then my number was called. I spoke with the agent and was able to get everything done in 5 minutes. I was out of the building before my appointment time had even passed. Good experience overall. Would recommend the appointment system. The DMV should try it!

Not a great experience there today. When I was finally called back to hopefully get an answer to my situation, all they did was photo copy my documents and said I will get a call. Not an appointed time to get a call, just you will get a call. It's a terrible situation for a senior citizen to have to endure. They don't really seem to care. Our SS system needs a complete overhaul. It's very shameful to have a system like this in America today.

Came to get my husbands drivers license today and was told his date of birth was put in wrong on his social security card and not coming up in their system. Now I’m having to take off a day of work to go get it fixed with the hopes of them being able to see us with out an appointment. If It not having to be inconvenienced with having wait yet another month to get in with an appointment.

I was there earlier today and the woman at the desk in the lobby let a man lurk behind me while I was carrying out my business. I had to stare him down to get him to back up. She took no action to protect my privacy.

I sincerely appreciate Mrs. T. Thomas's time and support throughout the name change process, helping me achieve the results I wanted. She patiently waited for me even after lunchtime, allowing me to pick up my green card from home. Thanks to her kind explanations and excellent service, I finally received my new Social Security card in the mail this morning. I received my actual card in exactly one week. It's amazing!!
Mrs. T. Thomas was truly the best! I give her a perfect score (5 stars). This is my third visit to this office, and everyone, including the two security guards, has been incredibly kind and helpful.
Mrs.T. Thomas is truly a special person. I wish her God's blessings in his future endeavors. Thanks~!!

Just had a phone appointment with Dee Harris from this office, and for an appointment at something like the social security office - you think you’re going into it to find a grumpy, difficult and annoyed person (likely rightfully so) on the other end.
My experience was just the opposite and she was a pleasure to speak with. Even laughed at my dad jokes. Thorough, went the extra mile, and made something that seemed like it was going to be difficult to navigate, a breeze.
To the Management: Give this woman a raise, already! 😎🥰

The employees were professional, kind, courteous and friendly
I was unable to reach the Social Security office for two weeks. I called left messages. I locked myself locked out trying to login..
