I have been using this bank since before it was South State. It has gone down hill continuously since it became South State. After my experience today I will be changing banks.

I visited today for a replacement card. A parking spot was not available in the front of the building, therefore I had to go up the stairs to enter the building. I recently sprained my ankle so I dreaded going up the the stairs which caused me to forget my mask. I asked one young lady seated at her desk(T) if I needed to get my mask before receiving service and she knodded yes. Noticing my limp, Joann provided me with a mask. As I sat down Ivey called me to her office. She entered my information and replaced my card. Thank you Joann/Joan and Ivey for your great customer service.

A family member sent me a paper check. When I went to deposit it this bank called my family member to verify the check wasn't stolen. One could take this as intrusive but they cared enough for my aunt to protect her and for that both of us are very grateful. The security of money transactions are very secure and I feel my money is safe with this bank. My aunt was very appreciative of this security measure,and we both thank you.

Should really stay open later for people that get off later to still be able to get THEIR money. At least serve people who get there right at 5 instead of saying with an attitude "we closed". Also hire more pleasant people rude workers is how you lose business

The worst bank ever! We were with Charter since 2012 and they were by far the best bank ever! Center State has been the worst nightmare. Cards work half the time, they messed up deposits, take days to do a cash deposit just to name a few. Love the people there at the bank, but Center State is AWFUL!!!!! Never thought the buy out could take the best bank I have ever dealt with and turn it in to my worst nightmare overnight. Warning - go to another bank.
