Great place ,the staff will answer questions and share knowledge .will help.you build a platform and advise . Good inventory and range is efficient. I frequent it for my firearm needs. I like their dog to ,he is a stand your floor kind of dog.i would've given five stars but always room for anyone to.improve. anyone anything

Firstly I will say that FMJ is a legit spot and they offer a good selection of firearms and equipment, I also believe they can order as well which is very nice. Personally I’ve only been here twice and completed a transaction for a nice vintage S&W model 66 revolver, sadly the rear sight was damaged. Thankfully an easy fix for something I as a buyer overlooked. However, where I am really disappointed and am knocking points off is their business hours not being up to date online… This is highly annoying and inconvenient especially for people who travel a good distance to come and do business.

Where to start... I brought my gun to this shop in November of last year to have the Headspace corrected on a AKM pattern Norinco Rifle. I spoke with Corey within a few days of leaving my gun with them and we discussed the needed repair as well as swapping out the furniture for a more modern Buttstock and handguard. We discussed my budget and he explained he would need to order the Buttstock/forend and would be in touch within a few weeks. After a month I called to inquire about the progress and was told that the parts are backordered but that the Headspace was a simple fix and was all done. Cool. I waited another month and followed up and was told the same thing. ok. Long story short after 6 months I was informed my gun was ready for pickup. Corey explained they would only charge for the buttstock/forend cost and gave me the pistol grip for free. No labor charges. Awesome! Here is my issue. The headspace was never fixed! The gun is in the exact same unusable condition that it was when i brought it to them. The headspace was never touched and the gun was never test fired. Unreal. I cannot recommend this business due to the negligence in how my job was handled. Corey is either a liar or incompetent I hate to say. Anyway my gun looks way cooler now but is still unusable lol. All I can do is laugh it off and be grateful I got my gun back only out of pocket the cost on the furniture. Ive already found another smith who has the gauges and competency to address the issue with my gun so hopefully will be up and running soon. 6months wasted with these folks......shameful.

Horrible experience, supposedly sent my gun off to be repaired. We wrote an agreement and both signed it on what was to be done. Six months later they could not find my gun. They finally found my gun on the top of one of their cabinets , and it had the wrong barrel on it so they supposedly sent it off again to be fixed. Again, my gun goes missing. Long story short, when I finally come up there and show my butt to get my gun, it was never sent off to be fixed like it was supposed to, and it still had the wrong barrel. I would not spend a cent here. This place is horrible. Spend your money elsewhere . They still overcharged me and would not acknowledge any wrongdoing even though I had it on paper. I took it to another shop and had it fixed the way I wanted for $100.. They charged me three times that amount.

Went in to look around and the owner wasn't very friendly twords me. He kinda acted like he didn't want to sell me anything. I asked his how much an ar forgrip cost that was in the discount bin and he said 75$ . . . . It was used and missing peaces. It couldn't have cost that much new. He just didn't want to help me. On the other hand I went back a second time and a younger shop keep was very helpful while purchasing a Glock. A bit over priced. Probably won't be back cause I don't like the owner enough to pay extra.

Great selection, the prices are fair market value and the services offered set them apart from many shops. I stop in when I'm passing through central Georgia as often as I can. Nice local shop & good service.
