Cato is hit or miss. I appreciate that they cater to all sizes but the fabrics and styles leave a lot to be desired. I visited today and many of the tops and dresses I was interested in were not available in my size. I do know they can order and ship; however, I was tight on time. I would appreciate if they would have more of the items in the smaller sizes available in the plus area. I absolutely love the accessories in these stores and generally have done well with finding those items to enhance outfits I already own. Generally, the staff will greet customers and get you checked out quickly. I give 4 stars for the fashions. I would love to see more natural fabrics such as cotton. Where has the cotton gone??

EllenwoodCalled to follow-up about employment Mgr Whitley was not courteous at all but very abrupt. A good Mgr should set the tone and be a role model to the staff.Do better Ellenwood!

They only had one person working and my mom and another lady needed to try something on and we ended up waiting almost an hour and we were the only ones in the store makes no sense to me

I have a friend that works for this company. This is a company that don’t really care about their employees. If an employee is visibly not feeling well they still expect them to come into work. I was not greeted at the door but was told that they were closing. The website showed they closed at 7 and I walked in at 6:05.... There was a couple of people still shopping and so I asked what time they closed and she proceeded to tell me that they were short staffed and that's why they'd turned the music off and closing early. I think it's not right. I spend a decent amount of money on Cato's clothes and it's a shame that you would be treated that way!

This place needs new management . My friend and I went in there inquiring about Apple Pay … not once did we ask about any job applications and she hands him a card to apply for a job. Don’t go here if you wanna be stereotyped .
