whoever is the only person working this morning (could be the mgr)…very rude..seems to hate his job. no greet, no engagement when trying to be pleasant, stern conversation as if irritated when requesting a price check. hope he sees this and tries to have a better day.

AVOID!!! DON'T HONOR SALE PRICES - CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! I used to go here at least once a week or more. I say used to because after today I'm done. I stopped in for a few household things and saw Christmas stuff was half off. Awesome! So I have so much stuff I gotta go back for a basket and I'm absolutely thrilled - till I get to check out and none of my items ring up at the right price. The manager checks his pricing and calls his boss confused. Christmas is no longer on sale it's going back to sell next year. So yes they literally refused to sell me my sale items at sale price it's full price or nothing. Not my problem when signage and items are still out yet refused. I can no longer trust them to honor any damn thing they say. Thankfully I knew at checkout the price was way too high but neither myself nor the HUGE line behind me was too thrilled about it. I spend wayyy more there than what that 50% off would've been, it was literally less than $20. I hope that's worth losing a customer who spends hundreds. 🙃 I'll be going to Family Dollar. GFY.

If you have a VALID foreign Passport/ ID they DO NOT accept that here to purchase alcohol. Which is ridiculous. The first place, out of all places and stores I’ve traveled and been to, that would not accept it. Weird. Considering the fact that the only thing they should be checking is if you’re 21. Nothing else… especially at a dollar store

I don't shop here but this is where my mom stopped for me to get emergency diapers and wipes. I joined the line to check out with only one person already checking out. A guy walks up in front of me and starts look around then when the lady leaves he proceeds to put his stuff on the counter to check out. I know the guy saw me standing there. Then he walks away to browse for sale products and the guy running the register is talking to him about them .. I am sorry that is horrible customer service. If he seems interested in other things then exits his tab and check out the next person. Then he pull out cash after paying with card and they were messing around with that so I walked out. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

THE SELECTION OF PRODUCTS WAS OK BUT THE SERVICE IS NOT THT GOOD. THIS ONE OLDER GUY THERE WAS VERY UNPLEASANT, LIKE E WANTED TO BR ANYWHERE BUT THERE.

There is an older gentleman here on the weekends who has the worst attitude one has ever seen. I’ve just ignored him in the past, but today he continued to yell at a calm customer who just wanted an exchange. The reason for him yelling “he was tired” and the manager saw it all while laughing behind the Register. Young lady decided to leave and he follows her to take a picture of her car. I have never seen him in a good mood and always he has a nasty attitude ,but today he treated a nice customer horribly.

Went to dollar general at 1:44pm today to shop for some items and and inquire about an application i put in. My experience here is normally pleasant but the middle aged gentleman who was operating the register at this time was extremely rude when i began to inquire about the status of my application cutting me off mid sentence and talking to me in a condescending tone loud enough for the entire long line of customers to hear. As i am trying to complete my purchase, it is not going through. i am trying to ask the middle aged gentleman about the status of my purchase and if my card was declining or not. instead of responding to me, he kept printing out tickets and staring at me. completely ignoring my question. i just left my items and walked out of the store because i was so embarrassed by how i was being treated when all i was trying to do was purchase some home goods and inquire about a position. i would avoid this location in case you want to be treated poorly while shopping.

I wouldn't never go back to this store because on 12/9/2023 I go in to buy a Starbucks gift card and a gift bag, I paid for my stuff and went to my car I was in the parking lot sitting down talking on the phone and when I see cops show up and I was like oh gosh something done happened??♀️, so I leave so I can go to the party where I was going and lake city pulls me over and looks in my car because the manager thought I was stealing and which I never would do that!!! Which cops let me go because they got the wrong person ??♀️yall be careful going to this dollar general‼️‼️‼️

Cashier upfront must be mental slow . I watched her ring me up extra , then when I asked why she was scanning it twice she said it ain’t do it the first time . Got my receipt she over charged by 6 items . How do you do that then keep saying sorry ? Have mentally competent people up front next time

Great Location On Jonesboro Rd., In Lake City, Ga. Store Is Very Well Stocked, Quiet Alot Of Clearance & Discounted Items. Male Employee On Wed. 10/4/23, Approx 12pm - Great. He Was Very Friendly, Efficient, Helpful & Very Customer Oriented. Thanks! Sir. Came In & Was Able To Get What Was Needed & Out.
