Since the last time I visited, I thought the customer service was getting better since they changed the new owner/management. However it's still the same or if I could say even worse. I went there on a rainy day to drop-off my packages. There were no other customers inside and I saw two clerks sitting in the back talking and fixing their hair. They were kind of ignoring me; I stood there for a while then asked "excuse-me are you guys working?" Then one of the clerks started getting her butt up and said "yes" and scanned my package, then handed me the receipt. I said "thank you" and she just looked at me with a freaking attitude like "whatever", so I just walked away. Smh...unbelievable, this kind of service of unacceptable.

I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge Jasmine! Each time that I have visited the store, Jasmine has always been friendly, courteous, patient and very professional! She displays a sincere caring demeanor when providing services to her customers! If they were to give an “Employee of the Day” award, Jasmine would win every day. Jasmine is a true asset to the staff of Lake City UPS!

My experience today, turned out good because a Supervisor knew what she was doing. I entered with an 8 item returned. Gave the young man the Barcode. He scanned it and began to ask me to pick out the items I was returning., showing me the screen. After he couldn't locate some of the items, from the screen. He appeared a little flustered and ask me to open the package, so he could scan the Barcode on the label, still no coat on the screen. The young man , turns and walk over to what I assume was a Supervisor. She walks up and explains to him, that he had scan it wrong. She assisted me and and I was on my way. I assume this young man was new or need additional training. Over all a good location and good experience.

Just went here to get a document notarized. The clerk at the counter checked me in, had me sign the ups contract on the keypad, then told me to sit down to wait for the notary. I asked where the notary was, apparently she was in Kroger. I guess I was expected to wait for her to finish her shopping or whatever break she was taking. I should have been made aware if it without having to ask either way. I left of course.

This was a pleasant, simple trip to the UPS/FedEx. Vanessa, the notary, was professional, helpful and courtesy. The notary here is daily unless the Tara Blvd store which is a notary on Saturday, maybe, but usually.Vanessa even helped me download my docs via email to get the docs needed to be notarized. Great!You just find this type of experience in many Jonesboro, Riverdale, SW Atlanta, surely not East Point and definitely not many of the UPS stores.We're going to make this UPS store our place for mail, packages, notary, etc. We were with the one on Tara Blvd near Kroger and with the exception of the young man, the store was unkempt, floor dirty, kids tear up needed papers, and the women leave a lot to be desire.They were routinely unhelpful, unaware of services, and rude. Also you cannot get your Amazon or any delivery packages if it's sunday before 12noon or 1pm. Most unhelpful which is one reason why we're leaving that store.We sincerely appreciated Vanessa & the other 2 women. Their professional manner, clean and tidy UNIFORMS, well-done hair and genuine kindness was so pleasant. Thank you all. The store was clean, smelled clean, their services are clearly posted and supplies are a plenty.That type of customer care has become something of a lost art. I hope that never stops at this UPS store.

This place needs to be shut down just base on how rude and unhelpful they are. How are they still open? If you guys are experiencing this please call the better business bureau and inform them of what is going on. We need to get this place shut down.

Every Amazon drop off I've ever had to do, they just take it. No ups store has ever required I purchase a box except for this one. My Amazon return label does not specify any instructions for packaging, it just says "take it to the ups store", because that's all Amazon requires. This place wants to make extra money and waste your time by not following their policies and terms of service agreements they entered into with Amazon. This employee behind the counter also requested that I tape my return label to the box. When Amazon return instructions specify to remove all stickers and markings from the box to make sure it goes to the right place. These people don't know their own polices and should have their title as an Amazon return center removed as they do not want to adhere to those agreed upon terms.
