We visited the farm about a a week ago as a school field trip. We came again about a week later as a family day. The farm and employees are absolutely amazing and kind. The store was a highlight because it had Whole Foods, merchandise, bathroom with changing tables etc. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old, so those things are important. We were able to ride the hay ride today and walk the corn maze. The farm is pretty big and there's a-lot to enjoy and site see. This will be our go -to until season ends. Family friendly and affordable. Also, I e noticed people saying the location isn't correct. Don't go by Yelp. The address is 18 Sorghum Mill DrLakemont GA, 30552United States

Information is totally wrong. There is no farm here and it's not open on Saturdays. We came here excited to see the animals and get some local produce but instead we were taken to a office site. The number also takes you to office not the farm.

So much fun. Some of the animals need more care. They have amazing pies and jams. Everyone is friendly and nice. Best apple and blueberry picking.

This place has a little of everything. Family activities outside, a guy singing at the outside stage and a great country store. The store was our target. Had lots of jellies, jams, hot sauces, etc. We left with loads of stuff to share with family and friends. Overall it was a great place for us so if you are in the area, stop by and check it out.

We were there September 23 and were disappointed. While there is a huge selection of jellies, pickles, vinegars, etc., and other similar items, we went for apples and the apple tarts. They were out of apple tarts so we got peach and cherry...neither were very good...so next time I would ask for a sample or only get one and try before buying more than one. The apples were a big disappointment. Perhaps it was not the right time or Gala was not the one to purchase, but when we got home they were not particularly tasty, had bad spots, a few rotten inside, were rather mushy...perhaps okay for cooking, but not for that fresh apple taste you are seeking at an orchard. Again, buy one and taste before buying a large sack. The place did look like it could be fun for children with simple rides and a corn maze; rocking chairs and small tables outside for eating ice cream and bakery items if desired.

We stopped to see what was in season in July to find a bunch of tourist junk and jelly with the hillside name labeled on them. It must be nice in the fall when live music is playing but summer and pandemic left this place deserted.

We stopped by Hillside Country Farms after an unpleasant customer service experience at nearby Blue Ridge Honey. Hillside Country Farms was open for business and warmly greeted us. They have an expansive selection of jellies, jams, preserves, honey, sauces, etc... to choose from. Our biggest problem was deciding how to limit our purchases to a reasonable quantity and variety. The Hillside staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Good experience.
