Overall, this was a great experience. However, there were some flaws. Something you must look out for is the fact that the fish camps do not come with breakfast. Their website said that everything had it included, but the fish camps don’t come with breakfast. We had planned to eat breakfast at the hotel, so we had to pay extra. It is expensive, and the breakfast itself wasn’t anything special. This was still a great experience. The fish camps were really fun to stay in and overall it was nice.

This review is for the Fish Camp cabin 2 where we stayed and not the restaurant which is lovely just as the main hotel. Servers in the restaurant were very nice. Unfortunately, the cabin was not what we hoped for for a two night stay. There were critters inside the wall which I would understand since the cabin was in the woods but not for the price we paid. Our puppy went crazy trying to get them through the wall. LOL. The rear sliding door was broken and could not be closed. I had to jam it with a piece of wood to feel safe at night. Out of the two front door locks only one worked. Several window treatments were broken as well as windows could not be locked. Hot and cold water did not mix in the shower. Either it was cold or hot but not the right temperature. Toilet was running after each flush and needed to be jiggled to stop. None of these were big deals but again NOT for this price.UPDATE: I appreciate the immediate follow up by the hotel today. I'm impressed with how swiftly and professionally they handled my concerns. It's refreshing to see a business that truly values its customers and is committed to rectifying any issues that arise. Kudos to the team for their exceptional service!Nearby activities: Very close to several hiking places and parks. Just a 15 minutes drive to the charming town of Clayton.

we spent Thursday night at lake rabun hotel. I can't give enough prise for the charm and service of this old world type hotel. I felt transported to a lodge in Europe somewhere. the area is spectacular in its beauty. we stayed in a lovely room on the third floor that was very comfortable and bright with lots of light and tall ceilings. dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the service by staff in the hotel and restaurant was outstanding. having Tallulah state park nearby and the charming town of Clayton was a bonus. highly recommend this hotel. it's very unique and we have stayed in many hotels around the world.

We chose a later brunch time to accommodate my 100 year old friend's eating schedule. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived and we were seated in the back room off to the side. The room was very cold and being heated by two space heaters. The lights were uncomfortably bright. They had run out of some food and told us after we had ordered. When we decided we wanted to add on a simple biscuit to our meal, we were told the kitchen had shut down already and they had no biscuits left. The server was very nice and apologetic. I just think that all seating times should be taken into consideration, not just the early ones. The food was ok but I have had better from them in the past. I don't think this will be a regular brunch place for me. All my dinners have been excellent!

The food was a little disappointing. We have been here several times in the past and it was pretty good. This time it left much to be desired. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the stuffed French toast. My Husband also got the biscuits and gravy. The chicken was like chicken nuggets and waffles were very under cooked it was also served with a teaspoon of grits. The stuffed French toast was more like yogurt smeared on for pieces of bread. Biscuits and gravy were good.

As a first-time patron, I didn't know what to expect. But, I enjoyed the meal and service. I appreciated the restaurant was on site so no need to travel far. The chicken was delicious and the desserts were on point. Thank you Robbie for enhancing our Valentine's getaway experience!

Absolutely charming 100+ year old hotel/bed & breakfast.Breakfast is very good; dinner is off the charts good. I had a filet mignon that matched or surpassed every fine dining restaurant experience that I would rate as excellent. The "limited" menu was not an issue to us due to its varied selections that pleased us both on each dining occasion.

I have to say that we have enjoyed the restaurant before so we were looking forward to returning. The meal was perfection. I can't brag enough about the first rate quality of everything from food to service. They made it a special experience.

Our experience was wonderful. It was Valentines Day and the restaurant was packed, but that did not diminish the excellent dinner and ambience that we experienced. Excellent quality, great service, and a fantastic evening out.

My daughter and I stayed this past weekend 2-9-24 and had a blast. We were there to hike the Tallulah Gorge and decided to make it an overnight trip. Lake Raburn is absolutely gorgeous, the pizza restaurant across the street was great and breakfast at the Hotel was incredible. We loved the cabin feel of the hotel and the staff was awesome!!! We will definitely be back in the summer.

The bartender, Robbie was awesome. Very friendly and made excellent cocktails and knowledgeable about the wine selection and gave good advice on the menu. Service was very good- my only quibble would be that it took us over 15 minutes to be seated - we had reservations and arrived 5 minutes early. There was plenty to see in the lobby so the time passed quickly and once we were seated everything was great. Food was delicious and fresh and dessert was divine!

As long-time residents of Seed Lake, we feel lucky to have LRH restaurant right here in Lakemont. It's an outstanding historic venue, where we always feel welcome, and always leave happy. My pasta special was a little heavy on sun-dried tomato, as they contribute quite a strong component to a dish. I added Wild Caught Salmon, and glad I did. It was a generous amount of food. Doug had a burger and shared a bite with me. Delicious and grilled just right! Sara and Hannah were efficient, cheerful and bright. Even mixologist Robby came to our table to say hello. A chilly night, but the room was cozy and warm. A pleasure, as always!

On Thursday Jan 25 at 7pm my wife and I drove through incredible fog and rain to have dinner at your restaurant. There were a total of 3 tables being used. We ordered very simple wagyu burgers and salads. The server and a trainee had a great time behind the bar laughing and sharing stories amongst themselves ignoring the diners. To the point where we and another table of diners had to go get them to ask for assistance. The wedge fries were raw. The burgers were not flavored right (as in was the meat prepared properly?). We ate a few bites and left. For such a beautiful Inn and area may I suggest you examine how you engage with customers and prepare your meals.

We loved our stay here. Built in 1922 it feels like a step back in time without lacking in amenities.
