Nice atmosphere and service but $100 for two salads, two cups of soup, and two (badly made) cocktails is absurd.

Food and cocktail quality and preparation were far below what we recalled from several previous visits a few years ago. No specials were available on a Friday night. Service was fine.

Love the friendly staff at LRH and the food was outstanding. The new chef did a great job. We had the trout and halibut. The were excellent. I could have eaten an entire plate of the dauphinoise potatoes!

We had a fabulous experience celebrating my twin's birthday Sunday night. The appetizers & entrees were perfectly prepared. Service was very attentive!

Very rustic and welcoming. Perfect time of year (fall) to enjoy the crisp outdoors and great sleeping! The restaurant staff took great care of us and we enjoyed one of the best dinners ever!

We returned to LRI after a couple years away. We were disappointed after hearing that all was as good as it was a few years back. To begin... Bread service we had to ask for, bread came to table dried out.and pretty much flavorless. Two different vegetable sides were well under cooked. Roasted Cauliflower was raw..... and eggplant seemed to be uncooked. Shrimp and grits was very average. Bright spots if you can call them that were the Salmon that was tasteful and so was the trout. Overall we would have to see a major improvement in food preparation before returning. Not quite what we had hoped for for $200.

We had such a lovely dinner and stay at the Lake Rabun Hotel and restaurant. The staff was so friendly and wonderful, the food was remarkable, and we highly recommend visiting if you are in the area! A peaceful and quaint night with great eats.

From start to finish our meal and experience was fabulous! We celebrated our anniversary and loved it! Morgan was so sweet. Best meal we've had in rabun county.

Enjoyed our evening at Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant. Service was attentive and friendly and we enjoyed chattering with our server about the area.

such a beautiful historic property! The ambience was lovely out on the porch. Kirsten was a fabulous server. Drinks and dinner were phenomenal. The fresh trout was expertly prepared and we look forward to our next visit!

My wife and I have wanted to eat at Lake Rabun Hotel for quite some time. We read the reviews, and a recurring theme was that portion sizes were not very big. My son ordered the rainbow trout, but they only brought half of it out. We thought that was strange. We've never seen a restaurant only give you half a trout. On the flipside my wife ordered chicken and she got three pieces. This was way overkill for her. To leave a completely honest review, I thought that the food was mediocre at best and it was nothing write to mom  about. I think back in the day this was probably a really happening place, but now not so much. On a positive note Max‘s lake side next-door was really hopping.

Dinner was a delightful experience. The only issue was that my medium rare steak came medium well. The waitress offered to take it back, but I hate to sit not eating while everyone else is eating and then eat when everyone else is done so I declined the offer. They then provided a free dessert for the inconvenience however it was my birthday so I would have gotten a free dessert anyway. My family begged me not to embarrass them by mentioning that so I just went with it. This would not stop me from going back. Though the steak was overcooked, it was still flavorful

Everything about The Lake Rabun Inn screams unforgettable! Nestled in the beautiful North Georgia mountains this place is perfect for any occasion. The food was excellent and all the wait staff were courteous and so helpful. We loved the entire experience. Would highly recommend!

Dining at the lake, Raven Hotel restaurant is truly a magical experience. The charm of the place cannot be denied. We had a wonderful dinner. It would've been five stars had the dishes been a little more plentiful. The five shrimp on the shrimp cocktail appetizer were very small. Two small pieces of warm bread (half dollar size ) were served with rosemary butter. Upon request more was cheerfully brought to our table. I ordered the filet with broccolini and mashed potatoes. Broccolini was two small stalks, and less mashed potatoes than I would've liked. (This is testament to how delicious they were. I wanted more!) my steak was cooked to perfection. Service with excellent, attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be enjoying this restaurant regularly. You have to try it!

The quality of food has declined over the last couple of years. For example, the starting "bread serving use to be good breads or even corn muffins, but now it was hard crushed small pieces of bread. My dish was suppose to come with a "remoulade sauce", but it was cocktail sauce. My wife's steak had to be taken back twice to get it to the right temperature. We realize that it is getting more difficult to find good cooks. It may be awhile before we go back.
