“Fairly busy, but I'm always able to find what I need. Friendly people, a bit messy but I've seen worse. Never too busy and usually a quick in & out.”
“On a scale of ghetto -this dollar tree is a gentrified project housing complex next transportation that goes into the city- in a neighborhood that used to be bad.
I would return -checkout was quick
No self checkout. Cashier's were slow but nice.
Lots of nice merchandise - disclaimer dollar tree ain't a dollar anymore.”
“This is the best Dollar Tree location I’ve been to in the area. It was well-stocked and organized. They have a great portion-controlled aisle of cookies, candy and chips (you don’t get a huge bag for $1.25, and that’s a good thing)! This location does already have the $3-$5 section that every store will eventually get.”
“Nice place to find some food and staple goods, when you don't want to hassle with the bigger stores, like Publix, and you're not looking for the best, and just want what they stock.”
“I stopped by Dollar Tree to pick up some laundry detergents and dishwashing soaps. The store was clean, organized, and it was easy to find what I needed without any hassle. Prices were, of course, very budget-friendly. The only downside was the checkout , there was only one cashier open, which led to a long wait in line. Overall, a good shopping experience but would be even better with faster checkout service.”
“Edit as of 10/13/25 Mrs Cherie, she is such a breath of fresh air. When I come to the store and I see her I go “THANK GOD ITS MRS CHERIE.” She’s so professional, kind, and very pleasant to be around. I could not give her enough kudos. This lady is what dollar tree is about. She need a raise honestly! I am now a happy customer again.
Update: the manager was fired
Previous post of 1:5 stars : The store associate who I believe is named Nicole followed me out of the store to cuss me out. I have it on my dash cam and I have a recorded phone call with the manager Kim who told me I was upset about “nothing”. Been shopping here for a very long time, have lived in Grayson since I was 8. Will NEVER go to dollar tree again. There has been a very large increase in complaints from what I can gather, and apparently corporate doesn’t care either.”
“Great prices. I especially go there for all of my cleaning products. Love all of them marked down prices as well. Was able to finish up all of my Christmas shopping there as well.”
“We like to go to this Dollar Tree because it's a few minutes from where we live. However, the kids like shopping here as well. We can purchase different items, whether it's candy, gum, household items, cleaning supplies, party decor, balloons, or even school supplies, we like this location. However, we noticed that the Dollar Tree stores are now increasing their prices from $1.25 to $1.50. Sometimes, you'll see items selling for $3 and $5.”
“I really enjoy the store hours of this business. Some negatives are quite a few of their food items in the frozen food section and on the store shelves are expired. I have had to make returns for expired/damaged items as well.”
“Just like anything else, we are in 2023 to even have one employee working is a plus, I knos sometimes I go and the store isn't open I just go to another store. No one wants to work, So when they do open and have employees working and not the manager at the front end taking my money its a plus. So instead of giving bad reviews help them get employees that want to work. Every place of employment has issues with staffing. Thank you to all that show up to work”
“Excellent customer service from Ms. Roslyn and Rae. These ladies had great attitudes which definitely contributed to the energy in the store. A well put together store, better than most of not all of the family dollars I have visited .”
“Good place for items you need in small containers as well as casual dishes, cups, plastic cutlery and containers. Most items are $1.50+ now. Least cluttered of Dollar stores, but getting messier.”
