OK, I must say this was a very random exchange. I am at the Grayson ga Dollar Tree. I got six laundry baskets for my gift sets that I am making for Christmas. the tags on the laundry basket say five dollars.
However They rang up six dollars The manager on duty stated if I want them I need to pay six dollars and that she did not have enough employees to update the price tag on each individual item so I can get it for six dollars, but she will not honor the five dollars that is on each of the six baskets
Nadine the manager said corporate would tell me the same thing, they don’t have to honor the PRICE TAG?

I love this store. It's clean and well stocked. However, the prices were recently raised at Dollar Tree and most items DO NOT HAVE PRICES on them. When you get to the register you have sticker shock! If you're going to raise your prices at least put prices on your product. When your used to paying a dollar or more recently up to five dollars, it's a bit of a shock when everything is totaled. It really shouldn't be called Dollar Tree anymore because nothing is a dollar!!!

Extremely rude service. Never go and purchase ever again. I am Not the type of person to confront others or write reviews but this time I had my items in a shopping basket and had it on the cashier moving belt and this employee with glasses and more heavy set man dumps all my items at once on the table and I had fragile items like GLASS candles. I did not confront this man as I felt so uncomfortable with him and when I paid he shoved me back the change. Very rude white guy.He might be racist or just bad customer service.

Edit as of 10/13/25 Mrs Cherie, she is such a breath of fresh air. When I come to the store and I see her I go “THANK GOD ITS MRS CHERIE.” She’s so professional, kind, and very pleasant to be around. I could not give her enough kudos. This lady is what dollar tree is about. She need a raise honestly! I am now a happy customer again.
Update: the manager was fired
Previous post of 1:5 stars : The store associate who I believe is named Nicole followed me out of the store to cuss me out. I have it on my dash cam and I have a recorded phone call with the manager Kim who told me I was upset about “nothing”. Been shopping here for a very long time, have lived in Grayson since I was 8. Will NEVER go to dollar tree again. There has been a very large increase in complaints from what I can gather, and apparently corporate doesn’t care either.

I will not be returning to this location, service is terrible and the staff has bad attitudes. They will have a line of people at the register and will continue to stock like they don’t see us.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. After the service bell was rung, an employee looked directly at the line of waiting customers, then walked to the back of the store without saying a word. We waited around 10 minutes before he returned.
While assisting the customer ahead of me, the employee (his name tag said Brae) looked at my items, turned up his nose, and said dismissively, “Are you returning all that?” He then walked off again, returning after some time with another employee—possibly the supervisor (Richard)—who explained the poor service by saying a truck had arrived and they were short-staffed.
While I understand staffing challenges happen, it doesn’t excuse the lack of communication, professionalism, or courtesy. The experience was unacceptable and left a negative impression. I hope this location improves its customer service and overall attitude toward patrons.

Brand new store so it's still very neat and tidy.

The tall light skinned guy, has zero customer service skills whatsoever. He doesn’t need to be on a register maybe more in the back stocking and not dealing with the public.

Haven't been at a Dollar Tree for a while but the experience I got in this store was unpleasant. Focusing on lady at the register not friendly whatsoever and yet rude to my toddler who was playing with things that were laying on the floor. (who can blame my toddler since the store is such a mess that has everything laying around) The band on the register was not even on or she didn’t bother to turn it on but had me push everything to her. Not enough with the unpleasantness but her focus was on the toy my toddler was distracting herself with while I was cashing out that she had forgotten to handed out my items but yet walked out of her register to snatch the toy when transaction was not even complete it. Then she went on to say something along the line “people…” I didn’t stay to listen to the rudeness she had to say but definitely not customer service oriented individual.

Mercedes, my cashier, was the only one on registers and without so much as a complaint or breaking a sweat, she bounced between 2 registers to keep the lines moving. She was smiling and apologizing (though she owed no one an apology as she was superwoman today!) If more establishments hired people with the same attitude as Mercedes, the world would be a far more enjoyable and better place. You go girl! I hope they give you a HUGE raise!

It is a big store. Very bright . Lot of things have been done to make it look less cluttered. I know things are going to get better. They need more help to get stock out. I really thought it looked like a new store.
