The experience was not a welcoming one unfortunately. The employee at the front did say hello but it was down hill after that. He seem to be lacking customer service skills. He was very short with us and rude. After he was short with us , he turned around and walked back to the back as if we were interrupting his day. It was horrible. Please work on that. Get employees that are ALWAYS looking for a way to make sure customers are welcomed and satisfied. Thank you

The owner was very rude. They had no cars. I ordered the manager’s special which was more expensive than the lower priced car to only be offered a small electric car that was not charged. The customer behind me experienced the same thing. Their car wasn’t charged. I had a debit card and was willing to pay the $500 deposit which is ridiculous. He then told me I would have to wait another day before I can rent it. I booked the vehicle the night before and picked it up at 4:30 the next day. Go to Enterprise across the street, way more pleasant

Made a reservation for march 3rd 12pm. No warning or notice that this is the closing time of this location. When GPS notified me of the closing time and my arrival time being after that I called only to receive a busy signal. Showed up at 12:10pm no one on site doors locked. I made the reservation days ago they had to of known of a pending reservation a courtesy call would have been nice and I would have made a point to be early, why would you allow a reservation when you close?

DONT GO YO THIS PLACE .. the Manager Donald Shelton could care less about your business. Rude as can be and they will let you rent the car without being washed. I wouldn’t ever step back in this place. I asked to speak to his manger and he laughed and said he didn’t have one because he’s the owner.. I made a complaint about him.. doubt anything happens.. can’t believe Hertz allows this. Don’t let me post unless I give it a star. They don’t deserve any stars .

It is difficult to even put into words the nightmare my family and I are experiencing. I’ve literally tried to reach out to Hertz and literally no one will help me. I never imagined renting a vehicle for a trip to visit my Grandmother would somehow mean that I’d have to take the Hertz vehicle for repairs because two tires have slow leaks and I’ve had the vehicle for less than 24 hours. The store staff has provided zero help, the person who is supposed to “approve” the repair won’t answer the phone, and we have been waiting at the shop for 3 hours. Our trip was supposed to start 16 hours ago. It is ridiculous to pay for a service and then not only do you not receive that service but you end up out of additional money, time, and effort. We just wanted to rent a vehicle for 3 days… We are now heading to Enterprise because Hertz won’t even answer the phone to simply approve the repairs to their vehicle.

I will never make another reservation at Hertz. The male employees are super rude and have one of the worst customer service experiences. I was promised a credit for a dirty rental and never received it.

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. Horrible everything. Will tell and scream at you for their own mistakes. The people who work there are mad they have to go to work a job. Will never go to another hertz and I’m taking my complaints to headquarters. When I came to pick the car up we had to go through three different cars to find one they all smelled of smoke and it was extremely dirty. The first car had wires hanging out the bottom. The second car had all kinds of malfunctions errors on it. The third car also hade malfunctions errors on it. Refused to clean the car (I assumed it should come clean already) but they still charge you to clean the car however they never clean the car which you can also see in other reviews. The lady was rude to us in the beginning and the man at the end was rude and yelling and hung up the phone on me. Tried to charge an extra 70$ for gas after the car was filled all the way up.Tried to charge me to switch the car even though the reasoning behind it was because the other cars where malfunctioning. I called only to get yelled at for pointing out these issue. He hung up on me twice and I had to repeatedly call to get a solution. Worst experience I have ever had.

I didn’t get a chance to read any reviews that people left about this location. I don’t understand why they have only three stars! I frequent this location and they actually work very hard. This is a high volume location and they manage to take care of everything with courtesy, respect and a smile. The manager is doing a good job. Kudos to you sir.

If I could, I would give it zero stars. The manager on duty was incredibly rude. Despite calling ahead to inform them about my last-minute reservation and arriving exactly at 2 pm (closing time), I encountered several issues. Attempts to contact them at 1:40 were unsuccessful as the phones were already off. The car I was provided with was dirty, and when I requested sanitizing wipes, I was told everything was locked up. My plea for a discounted rate was met with a refusal.Upon inspecting the car, I discovered it was not only unclean but also had a strong marijuana odor and a noticeable dent on the side. Despite the late hour, I expected better customer service. Closing at 2 pm doesn't justify having the phones off 20 minutes early. This experience was so unpleasant that I returned the keys, went to the airport, and rented a car. As a five-star gold plus rewards member, I have never encountered such rudeness at Hertz. Judging by other reviews, it seems I'm not alone in facing this treatment. If customer service isn't a strong suit, perhaps finding another job is in order. DO BETTER HERTZ !

Hot garbage! I called this location 50X from 501p-530p and they would hang up on purpose, send it to VM or busy dial tone!!!!! Ridiculous

This location is the best! I was waiting for my car to be cleaned because I was early and I listened to some lady badgering the manager and he did so good even though it was something out of his control (she will inevitably leave a bad review) but try this place for yourself!

Kyle needs to be fired immediately. He told me he’s a manager but I don’t believe it no way. If I could give this location ZERO stars i would. I rented a mid size car and received a very small car okay fine. I figured I could swap it out later. The second day after having the car I started getting low tire pressure notifications on the vehicle, when I called about the issue and spoke with KYLE the most unprofessional, condescending “person”I have ever spoke with, I explained to him, the vehicle has no caps on the tire air valve and it keeps going flat, rudely he tells me that’s not why the tire is going flat. So I asked him why and he proceeds to tell me it could be a nail in the tire either way the tire is BAD..right? then he proceeds to tell me that doesn’t mean the tire is bad??? And that it’s fixable but as a consumer who’s paying for a product what does that have to do with me? I shouldn’t have to put air in the tire everyday then after being difficult and rude proceeds to tell me I’ve been being disrespectful the whole conversation (which I was not) I’m definitely going to make a complaint with corporate which I feel like will only fall on deaf ears I will call everyday to make sure no one has to deal with the KYLE character like I did again.

I have rented from this company previously and had no issues with their service in the past. This most recent time was very disappointing. The vehicle that was provided to me was not cleaned. There were scuff marks and dents all over the vehicle and even one of the face plates on the tires were missing. I would have went back in to ask for them to clean it, but we were on a time crunch to get on the road. I ended up hand washing the vehicle and sanitizing the interior myself before we left. Not even an hour into our drive, the oil light came on. When we got back from our trip, I wanted to talk to them about it, but the office was closed and only the after hours key return was available. I'm hoping this was a one off because I would like to continue to use this location since it is the closest to my residence.

This is the best Hertz location that I have ever visited. Mathew, Donald and Vanessa need to be awarded for all their hard work. They make renting a car so easy. These 3 deserve recognition on their kindness for over the years that I have been coming to this location. I will continue to drive 30 miles just to rent a car from here. Cars are always clean and I have never heard that they don't have any cars in stock. I rented a car from the Duluth location and was called 15 mins before my pickup. I was in the parking lot for them to tell me there were no cars. I called the Lawrenceville location and explained to them what happened and they told me to come in they would take care of me. And they DID. So every since that day 2 years ago, I have been coming back and will never go to any other location in GA. This Lawrenceville location is TOP NOTCH!!!

Currently sitting in a rental that smells so strongly of cigarettes and old food funk I'm considering returning the car. I'm about to spend 4 hours in a car that smells like back alley and was obviously not deep cleaned for awhile. There's food crumbs between the seats and stains on every cushion. This is embarrassing and disgusting. Stop treating your customer's cars like your own..
