While my experience with Metro as a whole has sometimes been lacking, I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at this place. The staff featured some Spanish speaking members, which was pleasant, and they were always very polite and nice. I don't know what 'lgbtq friendly' means, as google states it is, I'm part of that community and never felt any different here than almost any other commercially owned business. Which isn't bad. Just the same.

I wish I could give this store a '0'. I have been with this company for over 7 years and never wrote a complaint. NEVER! In fact, just two weeks ago I spent over $200 on an upgrade phone on one of the numbers I pay monthly for with MetroPCS. Yep, never had filed a complaint. BUT, that changed today. Just left this store on Five Fork Trickum to get the SIM card out of my existing phone to go in a replacement phone sent to me under insurance and the rep was HORRIBLE - RUDE - DISRESPECTFUL The level of disrespect is even greater because I am probably 40 years older than he.When I drove up he was at the glass door looking out and opened the door for me. I told him thank you and walked over to the counter -- to be honest I thought he was a customer. I sat the box I had received with the replacement phone and my existing phone and told him that I had received the replacement phone but didn't know how to remove the SIM card. He acted as if he was clueless to the process himself. So I explained to him again what I wanted. Still he responded as if he was clueless to the process. So I asked him if he knew what I was talking about. So I pulled out the instructions from the box and started reading it to him. Because at this point, I want to get the SIM card out and leave the store before I had read that once removed and placed in my new phone, all I had to do was call to activate the new phone.I was the only customer in the store and then a young man walked in. This MetroPCS person welcomed the customer in and proceeded to help this customer. WHILE I WAS STANDING THERE - IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR TRANSACTION.The young guy who came in was looking for a phone cover. This MetroPCS rep proceeded to assist this customer. The customer looked at me and shrugged his shoulder because he too realized how crazy this situation was, and I asked "So, you're done with me?" And the rep just looked at me again with a blank stare. This is Sunday, this MetroPCS person apparently was insane, and I just was not in the mood to deal with an imbecile on such a beautiful day. I told him, "I tell you what, put my SIM back in my phone."He didn't open his mouth and put the SIM card back in the phone. I packed up my box. Left the store. Took a picture of the front door with address and went on my merry way. When I got in the car I just started laughing at the MetroPCS person. There was no need in getting upset with ignorance. Additionally, he wanted to charge me a $20 activation fee when this is a service I currently pay for and ACTIVATION IS FREE PER THE INSTRUCTIONS.This encounter was insane and while a company cannot really control every action of an employee or dealer, having this type of toxic employee representing the brand is CORPORATE SUICIDE. AND his comfort in being rude and disrespectful to me showed he had no reason to fear accountability nor repercussions from his actions.THIS STORE SHOULD NOT BE A DEALER REPRESENTING THE T-MOBILE BRAND. I want to speak to a regional director about this experience. I also want the store video footage pulled as well. The photo that I took time stamp is March 21, 2021 1:45PM EST. DM me for my phone number. I will also being sending a written complaint about this encounter. Store Address - 2948 Five Forks Trickum Rd, Ste F Lawrenceville, GA 30044And I will NEVER go back to that store again and will actively encourage others to NOT PATRONIZE THE STORE AS WELL by telling them the story of this encounter.
