Our son's first day at this daycare was an extremely disappointing and concerning experience that has left us with no choice but to seek alternative childcare options. The most troubling aspect of our visit was the unprofessional and rude demeanor displayed by the daycare teacher. When my wife arrived to pick up our son, she was met with annoyance and rudeness when she simply asked routine questions about our child's day. This lack of courtesy and professionalism immediately raised red flags. In our effort to gain some basic insights into our son's day, I called the daycare. However, the information I received was far from reassuring. The teacher was unable to confirm whether our child had been provided with breakfast or lunch and could not confirm if he had taken a nap. These are essential aspects of childcare that should be attended to without question. The most disheartening revelation came when I inquired about our son's overall experience that day. The teacher's response that he was "needy" lacked context and offered no meaningful insight into his well-being or how he was adjusting to the new environment.Furthermore, the fact that all the children were placed in front of a television raises serious concerns about the quality of care and the lack of an enriching, developmental environment for the children. Our experience on our son's first day at this daycare was far from what we expected and, more importantly, far from what any child deserves in a childcare setting. It is with great disappointment and deep concern for our child's well-being that we have decided that this will be our first and last day at this daycare. We strongly urge parents seeking childcare to consider alternative options that prioritize professionalism, communication, and the well-being of the children in their care.

The worst daycare ever. The other student was threatening my child about killing him. The bus driver called my child a liar even after the other student admitted he actually had been threatening my child. Whenever I was there to pick up my son they were sitting in a dark room watching tv.

All three of my older children attended Mill Creek Academy! The workers are so kind, especially Tara at the front desk! They treat the children with so much love and respect! This is an amazing daycare!!!

my babygirl enjoys her class,HOWEVER the assistant at the front desk TARA is very rude she has no professionalism, she’s not easy to talk too, over the phone she cuts you off overall it’s like she lacks good people skills.this would be 3 stars if she simply just didn’t work there, normally everyone is pretty sweet and kind and makes you feel welcomed but her, looking threw the comments it seems TARA is just this way unfriendly and rude all the time.and I hope the owner addresses this one bad Apple could definitely ruin everything. UPDATE:: my daughter stopped going after 3 weeks because the owner confronted me about my review asked me to take it down and said I was making her lose business,I thought the owner was kind the first time I met her but once I posted this review her true colors came out she was rude and nasty to me telling me to take this down.she did not care Tara was rude in anyway she made it seem like I was wrong.I’ve actually never felt so disrespected in my life. She is older so I didn’t disrespect her nor was I rude my feelings were hurt and I was shocked hoping she would talk to me about her assistant but instead she made me uncomfortable and I politely said I would just pull my daughter.I’ve never experienced anything like this.God doesn’t like ugly and what’s done in the dark always comes to light.

I absolutely love the care givers at this location, unfortunately the front desk isn’t always so courteous. Mrs Tara has an unpleasant personality, and lacked communication many times, which included a bad attitude when she would respond. I had my oldest son in this daycare back in 2016 for pre k and I loved it so much that I decide to enroll my new born-1 yr old in this year. I have decided to change him from full time to drop off, due to part time work change. After a week or 2 of not dropping him off, I called 24 hrs (they requested) to schedule his drop off, when I called, no one answered. I get a call back from Tara, and she tells me “we’re will no longer accept drop ins and your son is not aloud to come anymore.”Never did I get a call, email, or message about the removal of my son as a student. They never asked me if they can give up my sons spot in the day care, and for this I am disappointed with the front desk staff and how this was handled.Mrs Tara has been at this location for several years and I think if anyone else has had an issue with her it should be addressed. The owner of the facility is a wonderful woman, along with the care givers.I would recommend this location but I would also recommend for Tara to take some customer service courses to improve her attitude & communication.

My daughter attended the school during the summer and for her pre-k year. Her social and emotional growth made during that time was phenomenal. Her teachers were loving, caring and did their best to differentiate for her. They definitely exceeded my expectations while also loving up on all of the other kids. Often, advanced students are overlooked. My Kennedi was not. I'm sad to know that her teachers are no longer at the school (Ms. Kelly and Ms. Laura) but I also trust that whoever my son will be with next year will be in good hands!

I sent my 7 year old here for pre k and didn't seem to have any problems and now my other child attends pre k here and for starters doesn't actually seem to be learning anything! My other problem is that even though my child was out for a whole week I still had to pay the meal charge for that week even though my child didn't eat there! I am furious and will not be sending anymore of my children here, nor will I be referring any of my friends or family to send children here!

The Good: Clean School. Dedicated teaching staff are all parents as well as child-care professionals. Very Appealing. Excellent Area. Lottery funded programs help less affluent community members attend at little or no cost. The Bad: Parking is terrible. Nearby shopping center provides overflow across a VERY busy and dangerous street. Arriving late is taking your life in your own hands. The Ugly: Non-medicaid enrollees are charged $30 per week in food costs covering one very small breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks, bought in bulk at much lower costs. $6 food budget per day per child is more than most adults spend on lunch. Can only assume this is what the state lottery pays, and the school uses it as a standard. Also, when asked was told that the $30 also covers field trips (which in other places they claim is included in tuition). Seems like 2 bites at the apple to this humble observer.

All of my three children went to MCA and we love it there. I had two kids attend pre-k program there and they learned so much! Teachers are very caring and we LOVE them. Front office staff is super helpful. We never had any issues whatsoever and I’ve referred many people to them. People complain too much on here, let’s be realistic. Those daycare/pre-k workers work hard and take care of our babies so well! I never worry when my kids are there!!!

My son has almost completed his Pre-k year at this daycare. We have only attended for the purpose of Georgia Pre-K. I have recently realized that they watch quite a bit of TV during school. Previous to this year, he has watched very little TV. He has several food allergies and I feel that this has been an obvious annoyance to his teachers. They have been less than helpful in this situation. They have allowed me to send food to replace his allergies (as required by law) but I have still been required to pay full price on the meal fee. I have requested to be notified in advance when they will have a special treat, so I can send something safe for him. I have only been notified a few times and there have been multiple occasions when my son has told me that all his friends had a special snack. Each time I have attempted to get involved in his schooling, I have felt unwelcome. I often hear about my son's bad days, but rarely any good days. He is a strong-willed child, but has a sweet heart and should hear about his strengths as well. I should have changed him to a different class or even a different daycare at the beginning of the year but I was hoping for improvement. On many occasions, I have been close to withdrawing him altogether, but he enjoys being social. The administrators have always been very polite. I should have gone to them in the beginning, but i prefer to handle issues directly. This is my 4th child in Pre-k, so I believe my expectations are reasonable as I had a great relationship with the other daycares and teachers. Unfortunately, we moved and he cannot attend the other places. I am happy there are only 9 school days left and my younger 3 children will definitely not be attending here.Update: I'm sad to say, but i emailed my concerns to the administration of the school and they have not responded. The teachers acted a little differently so i know they got the email. I'm disappointed that no one even acknowledged my concerns. The rest of my children will definitely go elsewhere for pre-k.
