This place treats you horrible. I wouldn't recommend to anyone and I'm talking about Jefferson branch. Very rude. No due diligence. The employees shouldn't be finance because they weren't very knowledgeable.

About 3 months ago I went to the Athens branch. I went thru the drive thru to deposit some money for my daughter along with the Bernstein bear coupon to get her birthday money. I put my name and my daughter's name on the deposit slip. But I put my others daughter's account number for her account. So the teller precedes to tell me that account doesn't belong to me nor one of my kids. She ask for the last 4 of my daughters social. She said she found an account with the last 4 of her social but it came up with an account with the similar first name and same last name. I told her that has be my dau account because people mispronounce her name all the time. She said it was not her account. I gave her my account number and my daughters correct account number. She literally argued with me that those accounts didn't belong to me. I have never had a problem depositing any money in the drive thru up until now. I told her I'm going to come inside. I come inside I talk with a different teller she was in training and there was a guy there training her. I show them both my mobile app with the same account number I told the teller and that's on the deposit slip. The guy training the lady told her to put in my account number. When she did that low and behold the same account numbers I was giving the drive thru teller shows my account and my children's account. I asked the trainer, what's the lady name in the drive thru so I can make a complaint to corporate. He said he would take care of it. I felt like he wasn't. I end up calling corporate myself to file a complaint. I previously made a post on 9/17/2022 which got deleted. I have been with this bank for almost 15 years. I have seen a decline in customer service all the way around. I went with this credit union because I was told they were for the people and they will work with you. Also on their page they state Peach State is a not-for-profit. But they charge their members to apply for loans or credit cards. Over the past 15 years this credit union hasn't really been a good service to me. I tried to give them a chance the time I have been with them. I have applied for auto loans, personal loans and credit cards. I have been denied. I have reached out to other companies for credit cards, auto loans and personal loans and been approved. I have a good credit score. I recently applied for a loan and had to pay a $15 dollar fee once again got denied. Same day I opened up another account with another credit union and I applied for a credit card and got approved. I will be soon closing my account with Peach State Federal Credit union because they are not for the people. Basically African American people either. They are starting to treat people like Wells Fargo bank has. I would to be refunded by fees for applying for a loan and and a credit card $30. The other credit union I applied to didn't even charge me a fee to apply for a credit card or a loan. I would also the inquires removed off my credit report from which ever bureau they check my credit.

I've banked with Peach State for 20+ years and have used their online billpay for as long as it's been available. Recently, many of my bills are not reaching the client and I've been charged late fees (AMEX) had calls about my water and gas being turned off, mortgage late, etc. My son's car insurance was canceled! I've never not paid my bills on time. Money is gone from my account but not received on the other end thru electronic billpay! I called and they said they'd look into it. Heard back about only one of the many issues. Peach State seems not concerned AT ALL that thousands of my dollars are gone and my credit may be impacted because their system sucks. Looking for a new bank for all my accounts.

Don’t use their courtesy pay at all! Even if you use debit the transactions takes days to come out next thing you k ow you’re being charged Back to back overdraft fees. Why would someone want o pay $35 for a $2 transaction if they knew they had the funds! BS…

Complete waste of time. If you love waiting in line at the DMV or being on hold with the cable company then this is your financial institution. This place was not busy and I went in on my vacation day with wife to open an account. Was told up front I would need to wait 30 minutes to see customer service to open an account, waited another 30 minutes, 1 hour total,. Nobody bothered to update me on the wait, I was the only person waiting. Some depositors were coming in jabbing with the tellers for 5-10 minutes but I Didn't get that brick and mortar banking service experience I was looking for.

This place says they give people second chances!! I needed a small loan of $5,000 and they acted like I was asking for $50,000 the lady who was working with me her name is Jessica she was very helpful but her underwriters and the ones above them apparently didn't give two craps about me. I will find a different bank to bank with someone who cares about their customers!!

Old tiny office. Bored workers. I've stopped by to open an account as we live close by. I was asked to signed in. I did. Waited for about 45 minutes... no water, coffee, restrooms or anything. Asked how long more to wait... nobody knows....walked away. They just do not give a sh%t about you. Do not bring your money there. P.S. Emailed to the reply below, no answer. They really pis$ on you. Can I change rating to negative 5?

Horrible service. This branch should be shut down. The people deserve to lose their jobs. They are never open. The bankers are good for nothing.Do. Not. Bank. Here.

I would like to update my review from over the weekend. I should have waited until Monday when I could reach someone for clarification. In fact the $5.95/mo. fee for bill pay services can be waived it the member signs up for paperless statements, which is a reasonable exchange considering the cost for generating that paperwork these days when all other communication is by email anyway. Sorry for the misunderstanding :-(

Ms Bonnie (teller) she has no respect for the client's time, she ignored me when she attended me because she had no choice.
