Publix is my favorite place to shop. I was living in Hollywood Beach Florida working for Publix Supermarkets, started in the Meat Department in 1991.
In 1993 my husband worked for the Miami Warehouse since 1978. We were asked to move to Georgia to work and start a new life in a different state. So we had a moving company paid by Publix Supermarkets to move everything we owned up and put our things in storage until we found us a house.
Our hotel's were also paid by Publix.
It took us a bit to find a home but when we did the moving company delivered our things to the new house.
He went to the half finished Warehouse to work as for myself I went to work at the Publix in stone mountain off of Rock bridge and Deshon. I worked in several stores throughout my years working for Publix in every department through the stores. Loved my job and in 2008 I had to retire from a disability. I still shop at Publix because it's the best employer owned company to work for.

Went here for an unplanned lunch which turned out to be pretty good. I ordered a 6 inch Tuna on honey oat and it was delish. The staff consisting of two gentlemen at the time were nice and very customer service oriented. It was slow when I came in but it got busy half way between my sandwich. I also have to say the diningroom and restroom was clean for this to be a bigger facility. Will definitely be back. Oh yeah, they do not take paper coupons there which was a little surprising but still enjoyed it.
