This place is a hit or miss, sometimes when it says that they're open, someone's there, then other days theirs no one there. This wouldn't be my first option to get an emission test done. There are too unreliable.

We took two cars for emissions testing on Sunday and had very fast service on both vehicles. The gentleman was very pleasant. We'd happily recommend Red Line to anyone needing emissions testing done. It was nice to find a business open on Sunday. Our schedules are so busy. This really helped us out!

Update : I have to take back my 5-star and comment. I would not recommend it to anyone with the recent experience. My friend told me how bad this place is and I defended this place. Well, I was wrong. With this place business hour so unpredictable, I mostly called ahead. I came by here several times this week around 3PM and 4PM, but the business was closed. Then, on the weekend, I called several times, but nobody answered the phone until the last call. The person who answered the phone answered quickly and angrily, the hung up. He said the business is open and why I called too many times. Well, with the business hour is so unpredictable, who the hell would not call to make sure not wasting time. I would not come back here anymore. I could have gone to a bigger emission testing place near my house, but instead, I was driving further to support a small business. Now I just go to the closer one.

Red Line Emissions is located in the plaza between Shell gas station and Sherwin Williams. The price is $19.99. There's usually no wait. The process take about 10 minutes on average in my experience. You can pay with card as well. Make sure you get a receipt and keep for proof just in case but it usually takes a couple days to update in the DMV database. Service is okay depending who's working. Staff changes often. It's different people every time I come but I recommend if you're in the area.
