They will never answer the phone. Should your symptoms change between appointments or medication stop working, you’re 100% on your own to figure it out till your next appointment. I wish I never wasted my first two years going here and started with someone else. The many positive reviews does not make any sense so I felt obligated to post my truth and serious regret going here.

This is an awesome place. I have seen Dr. Kulkarni for over 20 years and he is wonderful. When you leave his office you know everything about your diagnosis in layman’s terms, no confusion on what you need to do after you leave his office.

If there is a possibility to give less that a star they deserve that. I am Patient of Dr. Kulkarni and I need a prescription sent to my pharmacy for my refills and I have been trying from past 3 weeks to reach them but no response and the pharmacy also tried to reach them no response and if you call them no one answers and I left 7 voice mails and portal message but nobody responds to them. I am so frustrated with Southern Gastro. Is there any way to sue this office. Worst staff and worst office, how can they be in medical bussines when they don’t care about the patients. I am having panic attacks and stress because I choose southern Gastro for my illness. I would not recommend southern Gastro to anyone. You might see good ratings for doctors but getting one appointment you have to wait 4 to 6 months, when you go to your appointment they will make you wait for hours before doctor sees you for 5 or 10 mins. Staff doesn’t maintain your records correctly. And I got a call from their office after bone density test and shared with me wrong results, when I spoke to Dr. Kulkarni he told me the correct results. I don’t know how this organizations is surviving. Plz plz plz don’t come to this southern Gastro.

No complaints at all! The front desk staff were super friendly and Dr. Patel was awesome. He listens to his patients and thoroughly explains about the plan of care and procedures. People at this place are professional and genuinely care for their patients.

Very confident doctor and nurse and staff. New doctor for me and I felt relaxed after meeting her. I’m still having trouble with the portal but. I’d rather speak to a person anyway

Most of the time I go to doctor appointments I have to wait too long. But this time was good, staff did their job fast, wait a little bit to see doctor. Over all I'm satisfied with my doctor visit at Southern Gastroenterology Lawrenceville.

I cannot begin to describe my frustration with this office. I came to the office and saw Dr Kukler with abdominal pain. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and referred out to a CT scan. The CT scan showed diverticulitis which was diagnosed to me via a nurse with a RX of antibiotics. I had questions about diet and lifestyle change which the nurse told me I would receive a call from Doctor to discuss. Two weeks later I still had not heard anything and finished antibiotics with lingering pain. Called and emailed with no response. Received a call from scheduling to push back procedure and scheduling nurse passed on my concerns...again. Still no call. Six weeks later with no call back from this office I arrived for my procedure. Did not see Doctor until right before anesthesia and he relayed to the recovery nurse everything was fine. I began to experience pain AGAIN two days after procedure and called in and emailed for another antibiotic. Never received a response. I called primary doctor where reports were sent and placed on an antibiotic. I have NEVER felt ignored by a doctor in all my life. I am beyond frustrated and angry. I understand doctors are busy, but this happened multiple times over a two month period.
