“Aldi is my go-to grocery store when I want quality at a low price. Their selection isn’t huge like some big supermarkets, but the products they do carry, especially their store brand items are consistently good and often cheaper than equivalent name brands. I appreciate how efficient the store layout is. you can usually get in, find what you need, and check out quickly.”

Star Mart in Lawrenceville is a great local store with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. The owner truly cares about customers and always makes sure everyone feels appreciated when they walk in. The store is clean, well-stocked, and has a great variety of items, which makes every visit easy and convenient. You can tell a lot of hard work goes into running the business, and it shows in the overall experience. Definitely a spot worth supporting if you are in the Lawrenceville area.”
“I’ve always passed by here while running towards Club Drive Park. Never really had the chance to explore the local grocery store until I really needed something to drink & fuel up on. During cool down, I walked to Las Canas Carniceria to purchase a drink & cigar. The grocery store is Mexican based with plenty of Latin American brand name & American brand of products. There’s also a restaurant adjacent to the grocery store. The place itself is descent size with few staff. The staff were attentive & courteous.”

“Don't let the location fool you. Yes, it's a Carneceria (meat market), Mexican bodega, and restaurant next to a gas station. Now, there are a few tables in the back to dine in, but to be totally honest this place it too small to enjoy eating in store. Don't you worry. They have the BEST authentic tacos in the area and eating in the car on the way home only makes them taste that much better. They also have dishes other than tacos, but at definitely don't skimp on flavor or portions. I've only tried their tacos, which are a decent size and all the meat choices are flavorful. My son came home with these tacos once and after tasting, I asked "where'd you get these?" His response was "at the gas station close to Walmart". WHAT??? After finding out exactly where he was talking about, I took note and eventually made my to La Barata Carneceria and ordered the the pollo, barbacoa and on another occasion, their Quesabirra tacos. OMG... The best!”
“Clean, fresh produce and staff are very friendly. Recently swung by the seafood area. The salmon I wanted seemed sold out but the gentleman behind the counter went to the back and found me some which was very sweet!”

“I was forced to use CVS for a couple of years because of the insurance. SO glad to be able to use this pharmacy again.
I got a prescription very late in the day and got to Publix just before closing. It was pretty important that I started it ASAP. The pharmacist got on the phone for a verbal authorization and filled it....slightly after they were supposed to close. I won't forget them going above and beyond.”
“If visiting during weekdays, after lunchtime (1-3), you might take longer to shop, especially at the meat counter ‘cause the employees take their lunch breaks and only leave one person to attend you. So be sure to plan ahead of time.”

The market is huge but popular so going during the week could be a better option than the weekend to reduce waiting in line for a long period of time. They have sheriffs on duty for safety.
Out last visit we expected to spend close to $275 to at least $250 but our total was $181. Compared to Walmart this market has the best prices allowing your money to stretch and having better authentic options for the same or better price. You cannot beat it!
