If I could give this particular store 0 stars I would. Poor customer service. I went into the store on 9/11/24 to purchase something. I get to the register with my items and they were ringing up for the incorrect price. I told the cashier that the tag price was different from the price they were ringing up for. I offered to go take a picture of the price tag. She told me she would do it herself. She went to the back checked the tag and came back and told me that I was correct. She got the manager so that the price could be updated and the manager said she could only sell the items for the price they were ringing up for. The manager also lied and said someone put them in the wrong spot. I asked for another manager she said she was the main one. I didn’t argue with her, and went ahead and purchased the items. I went back to the location the items were placed in to make sure the price tag wasn’t listed for something else. When I checked the tag once again, it was the item I purchased and the cheaper price. I went back to the cashier asked her if she could get the manager again she said sureeeee as if she was annoyed. When she went to get the manager the manager told her to tell me it would be a minute because she was on a conference call. I also took a picture of the price tag and contacted corporate, who also said the tag price should have been honored and that as a manager that should be known about customer relations. She (the manager) had the nastiest attitude. The corporate office contacted the district manager so I will update this post once districts contacts me. anywho don’t go here. Go to the dollar general on Dawson road. This one needs to be shut down.
Update - same day not even an hour later, headed back to the store to get refunded as the district manager says the price is to be honored. 😂😂😂

Cleaner than some DG I’ve been to in Albany or Leesburg. Only real knock is store needs to make one of the registers self checkout like some other DGs I’ve been to in Georgia. I’m usually greeted but there has been a few times I’ve been to the store and they were closed due to lack of workers. Another start off for that too. Self checkout would probably help with that as well.

What customer services? Only reason why I come to this establishment is because it's closer and convient to my house but most of the workers there don't even greet me "black" whenever I come thru the door but they sure do greet Caucasian (s) whenever they come into the store and provide better services to them too! Thus, I be like REALLY? # The Caucasian lady and new hire that currently works always recognizes me!
