The Gentleman working here called me aggressive for no reason. It was obvious he stated this after observing how I dress and carry myself. But as a black woman don’t ever call me aggressive for asking a very simple question. I was just trying to confirm if they did diagnostics for check engine light or not, a yes or no answer. When he asked what you need? I thought he was speaking to me but he was talking to another customer apologized for the confusion. All the extra commentary was not necessary. Don’t make assumptions about me when you see me and don’t play with me as a customer. His coworker tried to say he was just playing but why would you play with a customer like that. Calling me aggressive was very rude and unprofessional. Then it’s like sir you don’t know how to multitask while you ring a customer out and answer a question like seriously?! Smh I will be contacting the district manger on Monday about this matter. This is why I only go to Napa because these other auto repair places lack professionalism.

I visited today as my wife had been having issues starting her car. The gentleman who helped was unreservedly polite and helpful, and when he had run the tests he also asked the manager (Dimitri?) to come out for a second opinion. The manager was certain the issue was the battery after all, and offered not only to get the car started again if I needed, but never put any pressure on me to buy a product from AAP. I reviewed their battery options and warranty and decided to go with another vendor. They didn't flinch, I can only say I feel I owe them and AAP something. I'll give them business in the future and hope this review encourages others to support this honest and generous way of working.
