September 2024 by G. H.
September 16, 2024 I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Tamika, agent #29251, a representative from HomeDepot.com located in Athens Ga. From the outset, she demonstrated remarkable politeness, she was well-spoken, making our conversation both engaging and constructive. Her assistance in addressing my concerns went well beyond my expectations and had a profound impact on my experience. That was noteworthy it helped to alleviate my frustrations during our discussion. Ultimately, I left the interaction feeling very positive. The service I received was prompt and efficient. I can confidently affirm that Ms. Tamika is dedicated to providing exemplary customer support for HomeDepot.com in Athens, GA. Her efforts reflect a genuine commitment to not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations. She is gem highly capable, and it would be beneficial to leverage her talents effectively within the company. Sincerely, G. Hall Cc: Trust Pilot Cc:Yelp Cc: Google local reviews

I placed an order here and tracked the order and found out that the goods had arrived at the warehouse 6 days ago but they did not want to deliver the goods to me. I do not know why????? When I went to ask, they said the goods hadn't arrived yet, so what does that mean? Trust UPS or the store?????

This store sent damaged plywood on a delivery order. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with seven different employees. I spoke to three CSRs (one named Ramir), one lumber rep, and one manager - Orias from the Lilburn, GA store. I also spoke to two CSRs from HomeDepot.com (one named Anthony) to no avail. I spent $79 for delivery of something I can't use. I am just going into the store for a refund on both the board and delivery. I will never shop here again!

Had the most awful experience with associate Nisha on Saturday October 21st. My son and I were purchasing flowers (over $200) to do some planting. We had two carts and since no registers were open (this was right after open around 10:30am) we waited for self checkout. As we got to the open one we noticed Nisha was sweeping up a small pile of dirt. She said " we can get you rung up on aisle 5) so even though we had two large carts and would have to navigate around the forming line for self checkout we obliged. When we got to aisle 5 no one was there. So we assumed she got caught up and would be by in a sec to ring us up. The next guests went into self checkout and had issues and called her over and she went to help them. Minutes passed. That's when I realized she had no intention of checking us out but mistakenly thought someone was stationed on 5. We thought she was headed over as we had already noticed no aisles were open except self checkout when we originally got in line. Now we are frustrated but nonetheless backed up and got back in self check out line. When Nisha finally saw us she said " Oh no one was there?" To which I said no, smiled and walked away towards machine to check out assuming our interaction was done and she'd be around if needed. I could tell she was not going to apologize or even acknowledge the inconvenience ( flowers were for a wedding that day and we were in a time crunch already). Not the case. She hovered nearby checking how I was ringing items up. She then became mad that I wasn't ringing up the products the way she wanted me to even when she was about to mistakenly direct me to ring up a bulk sku as an individual sku potentially charging me several hundred dollars which we would then need to wait to get removed by I assume the manager. When I explained that sku was for a half flat she said that wasn't the case and I just wasn't listening ." Meanwhile the literal computer screen you can clearly see the sku reading $13.95 versus individual price. I then asked if a manager was available and was told " you can go find her." She then said " I'm going to go crazy on you if you are going crazy on me." What? I said "Asking to speak with your mgr isn't crazy but your attitude sure is." I asked another associate for help who said only Nisha could help he didn't understand self checkout. I then proceeded to customer service to get a mgr involved. I was told this area is only for returns we can't help you here. I said I just had a bad experience with the associate over there and would prefer to be rung up here by a mgr. After this I was shook up since this all happened in front of my son on what was otherwise a fantastic morning. I was surprised to get that kind of response from who I assume to be a mgr of some kind as she walked off towards the self checkout machines before I could grab her name indicating she wanted to see what was "going on."All before taking care of me, as requested. Finally another employee rang me up and pricing was just as I expected unlike what Nisha was instructing. It was such an awful experience that I took the time to share hoping no one else is subjected to that kind of rudeness and clear misunderstand of the situation unfolding, which for some in a more vulnerable state than me, could have resulted in negative consequences.

I drove through the parking lot at about 6:30pm. They must need to adjust the timer for the parking lot lighting for winter hours. At 6:30pm it was very dark. No security lights on the Home Depot end of the parking lot.

Ordered a product for delivery. Was scheduled to be delivered on a Saturday with a 14 hour delivery window. After waiting at home 14 hours with no delivery, called the customer service number and got no help. They referred me to the store directly and that was an even worse experience. Was told the delivery crew had gone home at 8 p.m and I wouldn't get my product until Monday. With another 14 hour delivery window! Wanted to just cancel the order instead of taking another day off from work, and they refused. The manager Brandon even hung up on me! Will definitely not be shopping Home Depot anymore and will take my business to Lowe's!

This review is only for the associate that works at returns. Forgot his name but he was a big fella with a horrible attitude problem. Was rude and not helpful at all. He definitely needs a talking to by the manager because I've worked at Home Depot before and this is not how you treat your customers.

Horrible. There was only 1 register open and it had "problems". The cashier said she couldn't check anyone else out and she left without clarifying. To top it off, an employee actually asked my husband if he was okay paying $29.98 for a tamper... Trashy. Lol who asks that? Look, Just because you have to work 3 hours to afford a $30 item and I oop...

Been a nightmare trying to get help. A month ago, we'd contacted this HD for a quote for an install. This was done via the online form. No response. Tried again and got a response. On the phone we'd said at least 4 of 5 times, due to the pandemic, we were NOT coming in (there's never been anyone in that department in the store anyway). Eventually it was decided this wouldn't be a problem, and all could be done via phone/email. A contractor came out to do a measure for the doors needed. A few days later we were asked if we wanted to pay, since we hadn't even gotten a quote I said no, we need the quote. Quote was sent, for the wrong doors. We went over, again, what we wanted and were told we'd have a quote in a day or two. Since then, we've had Lowe's (far faster) and 3 other contractors out to give quotes. Still no quote for what we asked for. Received a phone call again, asking if we were ready to pay, and again said we need a quote. Still, nothing. Have tried to contact the store, a manager, online "help" as well as corporate and no one wants to help. Been using HD (different location) for years, and typically things have gone well. Not this time and not with this location. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Curbside pick up service is awful. I was the only one there waiting and it took them forever and a phone call and me tracking down two people to get my order. Completely defeats the purpose of online ordering and curbside pickup when you have to do all that.

Left one Home Depot in Duluth to come to this one in Lilburn because item showed 4 in stock. Dealt with an associate by the name Christina who was unhelpful and rude. Item was not in stock but their was an identical item more than twice the cost. She would not even budge on discounting. Home Depot lost a customer. Cart was filled with other items and was looking to spend quite a bit. Heading to Lowe's instead. Thanks Home Depot.
