I was in this store on2/2/24 around 10 a.m. only one employee in the store and on her phone. This place is filthy. Empty shelves, and aisles blocked with merchandise on trailers ready to be unloaded . In fact you could not even walk down the aisles. This store is in total disarray.

Lindale: Staff is slow as molasses aside from Sam and Lauren. line was long. Another new cashier, Tara? I think is her name older lady with blond hair. Needed assistance with a customer but male key turn was nowhere to be seen maybe in the bathroom? There needs to be some sort of communication for employees such as walkie talkies or an intercom system (phones do not pick up) to drastically decrease wait time. store is ok could be better. Everyone always tells me they need me back over there lol. I loved the job but not the higher staff. Maybe in the future! Unless, I was put in the system as a no rehire after I resigned in January due to conflicts with the manager and assistant. Idk. Until then I'll only shop there when I have to. Otherwise I go to the one going to cave springs bigger store and more friendly morning staff or I pay a little more for products and shop at Family Dollar. I give ONE star bc of the rudeness of the higher staff and for the organization of product and cleanliness of store. Also for bad communication, long lines, and prices need to be updated throughout. As for employment.. the stress and confusion, lack of communication, lack of team work, bad attitudes and, lack of hours with minimal pay and no room for growth in the company that I endured as a key turn. I'd give zero stars if it was possible. Only DG I know with TWO assistant managers and the one Tawnya don't even know how to function and do the requirements as an assistant ie unlock safe, count down, or even how much an employee till starts out ECT basic stuff right.. Or maybe she pretended to not know, I had to do it for her basically if we worked together and it was on her to close the day she would just stand there on her phone or propped up just watching me and customers. Just very disappointed in the TEAM efforts. You are not part of a TEAM unless you're liked by the higher staff any discrepancy with them and you feel like you've been singled out and rules and regulations that seem to not apply to others start appearing to you and other staff never had a clue as to why, your hours get cut, and your work load becomes basically impossible compared to others. They will not fire you though, they just simply take people off the schedule and randomly put them back on so they will unknowingly resign for their position. Lauren is a great worker and Sam is the best as far as personality in my opinion. The rest is just disappointing to conduct business in such a manner that's why they can't keep employees. I may not get along with Lauren very well but I really see how had her and Sam work for such a ruthless work environment they are both very dedicated and friendly to staff and customers and they both work as hard as two employees out together as one. You would think the DM would see the turnover rate for employees and fix the issue for such a small store you shouldn't have new staff so often and if you want to blame the lack of adequate workers applying you can try, but after so long and so many at some point you have to consider someone is pushing out the good workers and hiring the unqualified. Make it make sense to me. I'd love to go back for the JOB. However, due to my personal experience, my work ethic, and my self worth I can not work in a unstable environment and treated as as stated above. Best of luck to everyone though.In order to obtain and keep a regular and extensive customer rapport you must maintain a friendly and respectful environment and have excellent customer service values and morals same goes if you want to keep employees and that absolutely coincides.

THINK ITS AWFUL THAT THEY DON'T HIRE PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN LINDALE , THATS UNFAIR, I KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE, SO I SHOP AT ONE THATS NOT IN MY TOWN. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS TO ME.
