She said she Specialized in hair loss but used harsh chemicals that totally burned my scalp and completely ruined what little hair I had left. I complained that it was burning but she said it was fine. It wasn't. I had several welts and burns and scabs within days and it was very painful. The atmosphere was also unprofessional. She literally did my hair in someone's apartment kitchen and was calling it a \\\"pop up shop.\\\" She said her assistant would contact me about products and hair care afterwards and never did. The price was also outrageous and I'm embarrassed to even mention how much she charged me... total scammer! Please get a quote in advance if you plan to do business with her. She travels around the country preying on women with hair loss and their insecurities giving us false hope that she will restore our hair when in reality she just will try to get as much money as she can from you because she knows we are desperate. It's so sad really. Don't be fooled like I was. Don't sign the waiver either. And don't pay her in cash! Edit: As a response I did travel from Cincinnati to Detroit to have her do my hair as a result of some of her videos I saw on Tik Tok only to find out later that some of her videos are not even her own personal work and even some of those clients have complained or requested the content to be removed. I was NEVER told not to wear my wig for several days before the experience and when I told her this she said I should have received an email from her non existent \\\"assistant.\\\" I showed her the one email I received prior to the appointment and I specifically asked if it would be a problem with a response of \\\"no.\\\" I haven't used chemicals in my hair in years but even I know that several welts and painful burns all over your head are NOT common as other patrons have also stated in their reviews. I am now totally bald in the front half of my head as a result of this careless money hunger stylist. She travels around to places where no one knows her and pretends to be this hair extraordinaire when in reality no one respects her in ATL. It is totally my fault that i trusted her and didn't ask more questions but Please be weary of stylist who travel from out of town and won't disclose their location in advance, never ask for any pics in advance to even assess your hair condition or provide an individualized consultation, and don't disclose the products they use. I totally support black businesses of all types and will give respect and credit when it is due but this woman should be stopped from ruining people's lives.

I was so elated with the quality of service that Razor chic and her assistant provided for me (hair cut, color, style) I was a very happy \\u0026 pleased customer when she came to NY. The music, food atmosphere was awesome.

This was a transforming experience. I went in with hair thinning and loss and after wearing weaves and wigs for over 10 years. She cut and styled my hair in such a way that I am back to myself. It looks amazing and I’m so thrilled for having gone to her. She is Amazing!!!!!

Loved my entire experience here! The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. She went above and beyond with my hair transformation. The cut, color, and style came out beautifully. So happy with my decision to come to her. I can’t thank her enough for giving me a new beginning. She truly has blessed hands! Can’t wait to come back ❤️

I attempted to take one of her classes and her team was very unprofessional. First of all she didn't have the correct model to work with. The model was allergic to sulfur so we couldn't have the class. She did not have a consultation with the client before the class. So that was a waste of my time. The next day was a look and learn, unfortunately I sprang my ankle and could not attend. I informed the staff of the situation. I was told to provide ER paperwork to prove that I went to the ER by David. I provided ER paperwork to them and asked for a refund for the class and I was told ok they would inform her of the situation. David never got back to me. The staff refused all of my calls and ignored my emails. Not one time did she step in to provide customer service. For all I know her staff didn't handle the situation correctly. Her service and staff is unacceptable. If you ever want to take a class with her don't do it, her and her staff is very unprofessional. So now I'm out of money for trying to take her class. I will never take one of her classes again! They did not refund me my money. A waste of time and energy!!

This review is not regarding hair service but regarding an online IG clothing auction that RazorChic( Jasmine Collins)held on May 21, 2022. I bided on a $30 shirt and won. Cashapped the $30 to Jasmine and a couple days received an email from a (David Mangan) working on behalf of Jasmin with an invoice for $25 for shipping and handling. I replied that the shipping is pretty pricey for 1 shirt and if I can cancel the bid and receive my money back. He replied no, basically. So, I Cashapped the $25 for shipping. About 2 weeks later, I received a box and it had an oversized about xxl blue dress ( which was unclean and reeked of old perfume) and a velvet grey jacket. I reached out to David, and sent pics to show what I received and it wasn't the shirt I ordered and how can we rectify this. David responded, please send back. No apology, or if the shirt is still available to send out or anything. I replied, asking if a return shipping label will be provided, because I shouldn't be responsible for paying to ship these items back since I didn't order them. I never received a response. So basically I'm out of $55, and left with some useless articles of clothing' that are going to the Goodwill. Horrible customer service. Never again.. beware.

First I want to say that I believe this stylist does really great work! I was more than satisfied with the haircut and style. However, she was more than an hour late for my appointment in addition to having another client ahead of me. When I arrived at the salon after traveling from another state- the lights were out and it was nearly impossible to contact anyone. Once she arrived -I was informed I would have to continue to wait as she had another client ahead of me. After repeatedly asking me if I wanted color-I explained my hair had been badly damaged and I really wanted to avoid it to allow my hair time to heal. After stating no multiple times…she was Still very persistent about color-I finally relented. I believe her work and talent are impeccable however on this day-I don’t feel that I-as a client- and my desires/time were completely considered. My visit was very costly and I left feeling like just another dollar. Really unhappy about the customer service.

I registered for a class in Cincinnati($405) the class never took place,but I would never have known had I not called two or three days before the classI had no address no time for the show. When I realized it was not gonna be a class there,I asked could I transfer my money to a class she was having in Detroit which they said okay. Once again, less than two days of the show, I have no place or time for the Detroit show. I text and called several times no answer totally ignored. Cannot believe someone on this level in the industry of Hair had this lack of professionalism in dealing with their customers

I do not understand why you all would pay over $1000. There are excellent hair stylists that charges under $100. What is wrong with you all? I stop by to get a consultant. Jasmine is arrogant and I do not know why. I was not aware her prices are so expensive. I was complaining about $65 but my stylist is the best. She moved too far. I am going back to her and pay my $65. I wish I read the reviews because I would never stop by. This is why she travels because no one never heard of her. Who signs a waiver? This is an excuse to do whatever she wants to your hair without any responsibilities. What a coward. What happen to customer service? God does not like ugly! Running back to my hair stylist that takes pride of my hair. I will pay $65 without a waiver. DO NOT GO TO SALON. FRAUD!

The Razor Chic team was to come to my city. I paid a deposit way in advance. Communication was lacking as to when to expect our appointment times. I tried to contact the assistant and NO response. Finally, an email arrived saying we would have our consultation via Zoom. The appointment day came and went. Then the assistant wrote and said she was busy with her other job. I had the consultation via Zoom a few days later ( a week before my appointment. She didn't seem interested. She was at home looking tired and disheveled with noise in the background. She had the phone down and I could the popcorn ceiling. UNPROFESSIONAL! Jasmine presents herself as glamorous but her backend of her business is NOT. Very telling. She assured me that I would get an appointment time and place. She said that I would get an appointment in a few days. It never came. Then another assistant David wrote to us demanding money for a deposit. I wrote back to say that I had already paid and if he could check. NO RESPONSE. Then he wrote another email giving 'more' information on transit numbers etc to send money 'asap' via Western Union. My appointment was cancelled on the day I was supposed to get my hair done. Poor planning on their part. I bet you they didn't even book their tickets!! After reading the reviews here, it was a blessing in disguise! Be careful and do your research!

Most people are complaining about the pandemic disaster that they can not afford $200 they is no job so I saw a review on investment tried it without a $1,000. 00 even though they are lower cost of investment. starting from the range of $500 but I got a multiplication of my funds to over $10,000.00 in a week time it's magical because I never believe until I gave it a trial that is why I need to post an epistle of this online.

I spent an unmentionable amount of money to have my hair cut and bleached platinum. I should have known when I was asked to sign a waiver stating no refunds. My treatment was actually very nice, no complaints with service at all. My complaint is I am now almost BALD. When I reached out I was told to condition my hair, keep it moist and sleep on a satin pillow case (which I was doing). The amount of money I paid to be bald and embarrassed to be in public without recourse is unacceptable. I am a public figure and I am so so appalled.Services: Hairstyling
