I just wanted to take a moment to thank the gentleman (Clerk 9) who assisted me yesterday. It was a bit of a challenging day for me emotionally, as I was mailing out obituaries and thank you notes following my mother’s memorial service.
He was incredibly kind and patient, and that small gesture of compassion made a real difference in my day.

If you’re looking for a location to get a passport, look for other places. I made an appointment for a month in advance, I come today & after waiting 20 minutes in line I’m told the lady for said service is out for the week & will back next week. But their system shows that there’s no more appointments available for the whole month. Not just that they claim to have sent out an email, but me and everyone else who came for their appointments didn’t receive any notification. I know customer service is tough & draining but they’re a shitty ran establishment. Inconsistent service, inconsistent scheduling, lacking in communication, extremely slow service & delivery. Just go literally ANYWHERE else.

I’ve visited this location multiple times hoping the experience would improve, but I’m disappointed every single time. I’ve worked in front-facing customer service roles for nearly 30 years, so I understand how hard it can be to find good staff (and for the record, I’ve applied here in the past and was never given a chance). Still, it’s impressive how the quality of employees somehow gets worse with each visit. The bad attitudes are consistent across the board — young, old, Black, white, it doesn’t matter here. Yesterday, I overheard loud cursing in the passport area. I assumed it was a customer, so paid it no mind, but to my surprise, it was an employee on her phone, cursing like she was at home, not in a public space. The elderly looking white lady working the counter clearly heard it too, but said nothing. I don’t typically complain because I’ve worked in retail long enough to know what it’s like, but even on my worse day, I knew how to act when customers were within earshot. If you’re going to keep hiring whoever walks in just to cover shifts, at least train them on basic customer service. No one’s forcing them to be there, if they hate the job, they can at least fake it until the customer walks out. I won’t be returning to this location. If I’m going to deal with the same rude energy, I might as well go to the one closer to home.

It’s crazy how 30 minutes before closing and employee can take a lunch break and not help me with my question. Some light skin lady with short dreads. Attitude through the roof.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experiences at this post office have been so troubling that I feel compelled to warn others. Far from serving the public, the staff here seem to treat customers like nuisances, providing dismissive responses and withholding services—even after payment has been made.
It’s gotten so bad that I can’t help but say: DOGE needs to come for this post office—and I don’t mean just the meme. I’m talking about real accountability:
DOGE as Department of Government Efficiency: A newly formed federal task force (nicknamed DOGE) was meant to reduce waste and improve public services—yet this post office proves why such oversight is needed.
This isn’t just poor service—it feels like theft , and staff shrug it off as if it’s no big deal. For a public institution, that’s unacceptable.
I urge management—or any oversight body like DOGE—to investigate: staff training, accountability systems, money-handling protocols—all require overhaul. Customers shouldn’t have to pay and chase down the service they were promised.

I wish there was a such thing as a ZERO star. My son and I went in to get our passports and noticed that the passport room was blocked. Before I could ask whether or not the passport office was closed, the white lady (with glasses) at the counter say, 'the line is over there.' Although I became upset after I heard her tone, I still proceeded to ask if the passport office was closed. She RUDELY says, 'she is out on vacation, it's closed.' I left immediately because this lady had the worst attitude. She should not interface with the customers at all. She is not a people's person. She really needs to work in the back by herself. I blame management for letting her work with the customers. She seems very angry, and she doesn't like her job. Who is covering the person who does passports when she is out for any reason? The show must go on! Poor management at best!

The man at the counter is telling me with a straight face that they can't print their own shipping labels with a tone and expression as if I had just asked him to serve me a piece of the cheese the moon is made of.
DeJoy really ruined the place.

I wish i could do 0 stars or maybe even negative stars....If you need a passport please make sure you go anywhere BUT here....stood in line for 40 minutes (1 clerk working) only to be told I need to make an appointment online...made appointment which was over 1 month later...I get there only to be told the lady won't be there until Thursday (today is Monday) do they care I took the day off from work? Absolutely not. DO NOT GET YOUR PASSPORT HERE 💯
