DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! They had my boyfriend’s car for 5 WEEKS and never fixed it. I drive past this place on my way to work and saw his car sitting in the lot across the street most days. They never called him to give him updates he always had to call them. He finally took it somewhere else who fixed it within a week. Horrible customer service, these people do not know what they are doing and do not care about customers.

Replaced my transmission on my Mazda tribute with excellent warranty. Best transmission shop in town will highly recommend!

Repeat customer. Customer service, communication and reliability are on point. Had a transmission replaced on a 2015 Hyundai genesis previously and now a starter as well. Prices are reasonable compared to many alternatives. I hope I remember the name correctly but Jennifer and my advisor kept me well informed throughout.

The AAMCO and its employees are the absolute best. I have had to take my car in twice in the last 5 months (for very different reasons ) and both times they were prompt, respectful, and completely fair. The employees and technicians are obviously well-trained and can answer any questions or do whatever you're going to need them to. I would 10/10 recommend AMMCO, they are the kindest, most honest, and most diligent auto shop that I have worked with. This last time I brought my car in, they couldn't duplicate the problem that I was experiencing, but they worked on it throughout an entire week, going above and beyond to make sure that my car was safe to drive. Then, they told me they did the entire work on courtesy because they couldn't find anything wrong with it. That was so generous. These guys are the best auto shop in Macon, and possibly, the world.

I really appreciate AAMCO and Jennifer Haley for all they did for me, by helping me with my CarShield Experience. I WOULD RECOMMEND AAMCO FOR ANY TRANSMISSION REPAIR. THEY HAVE GREAT COUSTMER SERVICE great turn around. Thank you AAMCO!!!

Diagnostic fee is very expensive and they didn’t even work on my car. If you wanna waste money for no reason at all take your car here !!!!
Plus it took three days for them to tell me nothing and. I never got a call had to do the calling horrible customer service. I strongly suggest anywhere else but here.

- PROS: Very friendly environment *that's what the 1 star is for*...
- CONS: My Car didn't get done in a timely manner... I dropped my car off on the 16th didn't get it back until the 26th and it was a minor job (1 wheel bearing)...
I mean at least they could have offered me an accommodation for this inconvenience!!!
- Note: If you are looking for a speedy service I wouldn't recommend this place especially if they are shorthanded...
- FYI: "Ask if they're short-handed first before you drop your car off, and can you have your car done at a reasonable time".?.

I recently had my vehicle serviced at AAMCO for the second time, and I must say that they have solidified their place as my go-to mechanic shop. The professionalism and efficiency displayed by their team are truly commendable.
On both occasions, the staff at AAMCO addressed my car's issues promptly. They provided a thorough explanation of the necessary repairs, ensuring that I understood the scope of the work needed.

The transmission went out in my 2018 Lincoln navigator after 93,000 miles. I was surprised that there was a problem with the car since it had been maintained to all of Lincoln‘s recommendations. Fortunately I found AAMCO in Macon Georgia and was able to connect with them and deliver the car to the shop. They called me the next day and told me that the transmission needed to be replaced and while I was disappoint I gave them permission to go ahead and do the work. About a week later I got a call saying the car was ready. back to Macon picked up the car but on the way home the transmission started leaking fluid again. I called AAMCO. They told me to bring it right back and they would take care of it. Boy did they a week later I got a call saying the car was ready and I drove over there today to pick it up and the drive home was like driving it home from the dealer on the day that I got it. It was a big relief to have this problem resolved. Turns out Ford has a class action lawsuit against it on this particular transmission. I will use this business again and recommend them to anybody that is looking for a professional, courteous repair shop!

I found myself in a very serious situation when the transmission in my 2018 Lincoln navigator started leaking and error. Lights covered my dashboard. I googled transmission repair and got the location of an AAMCO dealer in Macon Georgia. Called made an appointment and drove over there to drop off the car. They agreed to look at it and call me with their recommended solution. It was very nice to deal with people who were concerned about the repairs needed to my car. when they called and told me that the transmission needed to be replaced, I was surprised, but authorized the repair. About four business days later I got a phone call saying the car was ready and I drove to Macon to pick it up. Unfortunately, on my way home the transmission started leaking again and when I called AAMCO, they told me to bring it right back and they would get to work on it. at that particular point, we discussed the challenges of the transmission in my Lincoln and he advised me of a class action lawsuit against Ford over the problems with this particular transmission. They replaced it again and I just picked it up today and drove it home and it was like a brand new car. Not only was my car fixed. I got to meet and deal with people that I will definitely do business with again. I found them professional, and extremely helpful and not only the repairs, but also helping me understand the problem better. I would recommend this company to anyone that needed professional quality service.
