I had most of my teeth pulled, got some crowns and fillings on the remaining teeth and am finishing up getting my permanent upper denture and lower partial. I've been very impressed with Aspen Dental. Dr Ram is so nice and very thorough. She takes the time to make sure the work is done right. Also, all of the office staff and Dental Assistants are great - friendly, yet professional. For me, that has as much of an impact as the doctor's skill. I want to feel I'm among friendly people. Kindness goes a long way.

This was a very bizarre dental experience. They were the only dentist my insurance would cover in my area, so I didn't have any other choice. I feel that the care I received was at least enough to get me by for the meantime. However, I would not feel confident with more extensive dental care than a cleaning. The appointment took over two hours and was brought back to the waiting room at leas 5 times during my visit. At the beginning, they insisted that I must have x-rays taken (even though I had x-rays from only 8 months prior that I could provide); without x-rays they would not proceed with the cleaning. The set up of the office was in cubical format, which was very odd to me. The floor was very dirty, as were many of the appliances. I generally am not very confident concerning the cleanliness of the facility.Additionally, a few hours after my appointment, I received a call claiming that they didn't believe their credit card machine had charged me properly and wanted to have my card number again to charge me for the visit. Thankfully, I have Amex which had already set me a notification for the charge so I knew it was processing. Could have been a genuine mistake, but still felt very odd, particularly after how weird the appointment was already.Overall, if I can help it I will either have different dental insurance by the time I get my next cleaning or will do my best to find a dentist I can afford out of pocket. Aspen dental at large might be a fine company, but this was just hands down a weird dental experience and not one I would recommend.

Not impressed with the cleanliness of the clinic. The dentist, and techs do not change their masks after each patient, thus exposing patients to covid, flu, and who knows what else, and their masks looked used over, neither paper towels in the bathroom. The office staff are not welcoming, and still have not returned my phone call. I'm very concerned about the dental work I need, because of the fear of contracting who knows what.UPDATE::It's been 8days since I've been trying to get someone to answer the phone at Aspen dental in Macon to get a copy of my dental records, and X-ray so I could see a dental surgeon. Some one finally answer the phone, after they called me to confirm an appointment for the following day, which is 10 days since I was last seen. I was told that in order for the dentist to do any work on my mouth, I MUST FIRST GET A DEEP CLEANING WHICH COST OVER $800.00, AND IT'S NOT COVERED UNDER MY INSURANCE. They did however, said they would extract the painful tooth, but NO other restorative work until the deep cleaning is done.BACK UP**** I did call Aspen Dental corporate on two separate occasions, and my insurance carrier and made a complaint. They both apologized, and said they can't get anyone on the phone. Today, 10 days later I had to physically go to their office, and got a copy of my X-ray, and their estimated cost. While waiting in the office, a patient came in complaining of a broken tooth, and a hole in his tooth that was not there before.I'm glad I found out about their services, or should I say lack of before they start work on my mouth.I wouldn't even let them touch my mouth, even with a painful tooth.I'm going to a dentist that cares about the patient, not money.

This was a great experience, I got treated with kindness and understanding since I entered the facility. Reception, nurses, hygienists and doctors were just great. The treatment was perfectly explained, and got all the help I needed. This is the dental office you want to go to when searching for excellent care.

I have insurance & would have been able to afford my treatment plan but they insisted I pay out of pocket for unnecessary deep cleanings! They rarely answer the office phones, They also tried to commit insurance fraud & charged my insurance for services I had already paid for out of pocket! Then refused to go ahead & make my appointment for a crown unless I paid in advance! Which is ridiculous bc my appointment was a week away! I have insurance I would have paid all out of pocket costs the day of the procedure! The billing department lady needs to be retrained or fired for try to take advantage of the elderly/disabled! The dentist does do good work but it against state guidelines for someone that’s not a licensed dental assistant to be removing a temporary crown which they had a young man do to me! They did not numb my mouth & actually tried to remove the temp crown to put on a new crown, which I had to stop him bc it was way to painful!? I have never had a dentist not numb me first for that! They finally numb me & I ask the guy which he says he’s in school for dental assistant not licensed, then he removes my temp crown! Who in the world would think it’s a good idea to try to cause someone undue pain like that is beyond me! Then refuse to do anymore work to my teeth unless I pay for deep cleaning which isn’t necessary that’s why most insurances don’t pay for this sort of thing! They lost a customer due to wanting me to pay an extra $1000 out of pocket for unnecessary deep cleanings, then have the nerve to charge my insurance the out of pocket costs I had already paid them trying to double dip!! They sound good but it’s poorly ran & managed & they should stop forcing people to do deep cleanings if they can’t afford it especially if they’re already paying for crowns! They refused to schedule my next crown appointments until I got deep cleanings. If you don’t have insurance they have a cheap plan but be ready for that $1000 dollar deep cleaning which doesn’t take long to be added. It’s also wrong to make someone pre pay for a service when if you die or get sick before you’re able to go to the appointment you have just lost your money ! They will nickel & dime you to death & try to double charge you & your insurance, also the temp crown was the worst one I have ever had very ragged but the permanent one was nice! Now I am stuck with finding a new dentist bc I refuse to pay for a unnecessary deep cleaning when I had just had a cleaning! They take none of that into consideration & have refused to make my appointment for another crown, the billing lady also told me I had $200 dollars less than I actually did with my insurance so I could pay $200 cash out of pocket & they could charge my insurance that extra $200 they said I didn’t have in order to make more money! If you have insurance go somewhere else they need to be reported to the state board especially for having a unlicensed person in the room trying to take my crown off without numbing first! FYI they’re owned by foreign people based out of New York so if you need to report them you will have to report to New York if anyone else has had this issue take it up with New York which won’t do anything it’s all corrupt just get your X-rays if you’re already a patient & find someone else that won’t have such unethical service

Friendly staff, thoroughly explained recommendations however the cost seemed quite high. I had been going to a top tier dentist in MI for over 10 years before relocating to GA and never paid more than 300 out of pocket. My 1st consultation here they were talking 1,400+ out of pocket. I will get a second opinion.

Go here and guarantee you have hundreds if not thousands of dollars of periodontal work that MUST be done or you will LOSE YOUR TEETH. Doesn't matter that you get cleanings regularly and floss every day, just trust us! Sure, we're a for profit business but everything we are saying you need to spend a fortune on is totally legit. Doesn't matter that you have no pain, no issues, no bleeding gums, just believe us. Your teeth are going to fall out!!!!! Uh huh, yeah. This place refuses to give basic cleanings even though your insurance covers them and they are an in network provider. They call a chip in your tooth a cavity, and they'll do everything they can to scare you into a massive bill of work. And if you dare to question them? The condescending receptionists will happily tell you how ignorant you are, get nasty attitudes and without fail hang up the phone on you. Guarantee it. Try it out for yourself! Oh, and btw, good luck getting them on the phone. Even though they charge people insane amounts of money, the entire Aspen Dental phone system has been messed up for almost a year because of a hack. Yes, they were hacked months ago and never got the phone lines fixed. Convenient for them because they absolutely hate talking to patients on the phone. That requires people skills, and honey, those receptionists have none. Go elsewhere or be prepared to empty your bank account :)

I had a great and comforting visit. That is a lot to say for someone who is terrified at the thought of a dental office. I didn’t get that dental office smell and everyone was extremely nice and patient. They give you time to process things and warn you ahead of time what is going to happen. I also had confidence that they were knowledgeable in their information. Everyone was on the same page and I got the same information from each person I talked to. That is rare in a large office where you have multiple people giving service.

I had planned on leaving a review at a later date however getting multiple emails every day asking me to write a review is annoying so I'm just going to do it now.I give 5 big stars to the front desk staff, X=Ray technician and the dentist I saw at the Macon Ga office. All of them were polite and helpful. I am still waiting on a cost for the procedure and I haven't heard from Aspen since my appointment. I'm guessing they aren't interested in providing dental services to me or they have forgotten about me. I give one star for poor follow-up. I'll try another dental practice.

The doctor and patient staff was good but the finance department was demanding and what not explain in detail The individual calls for procedures keep beating around the bush for A group cost also kept talking about financing drop procedure and wouldn’t listen to the questions I will ask him about individual procedure instead she was telling me it had to be done in a great price. Seems to me she just wanted to jack up the price in a group and not displaying what the individual price would be. ‘ Good doctor and good staff.

They are the sweetest and nicest dental practice I have ever been to. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They took the time to work me and create a great set of dentures. They continued to make adjustments to them and fix a small area of the dentures that was causing me problems and not allowing my dentures to fit properly. I highly recommend them to any one.

The staff were all so kind and understanding. They made sure to explain everything to me; and offered solutions that would improve my quality of life overall. Juanita, Adrienne, and Dr. Ram especially made me happy that I decided to come in today.

My first visit to Aspen in Macon Georgia office and I was so impressed. From the front desk to X-ray to dental hygienist to dentist and finally to check out I was treated with kindness and care. The overall atmosphere was so pleasant they took time explaining to my understanding about everything. This visit was just my assessment and have an appointment for treatment.UPDATE: I have now had three more visits, and I still stand by what I have said. I am so pleased with everything that has been done and this staff is awesome 9-15-2023
