I wanted to shop local after my hip replacement surgery and made sure, through my insurance company, that Chichester's was "in network." I was excited when I called because I felt good about using a local business rather than just ordering from Amazon. I called the store to make arrangements for my husband to go and pick up my needed post-surgery supplies, but the woman with whom I spoke with on the phone was either having a REALLY bad day, or this company has no interest in customer service. The woman who answered the phone, first implied I was running a scam when I asked if my husband could use my insurance card when picking up my supplies - NOPE! She said, "He can't use your card." Umm, I can't drive, or even walk, so I'm not sure how she expected me to come in on my own. It is a "in-home healthcare store", so I'm guessing that MOST of their clients are having to send someone in to pick up the supplies. Next, Ms, Having a Bad Day, then said I had to have a prescription - for a toilet seat - even though my insurance rep said Chichester could absolutely bill my insurance with me paying a 20% co-pay. NOPE! Bad Day said absolutely not. Then when I asked if there was anyway I could have anything delivered. NOPE! We don't deliver anymore.Here's my issue. 1. Horrible customer service. 2. When I can buy all of these supplies on Amazon for the same price, or even cheaper, and have them delivered the next day, why would anyone choose to shop at this store with such horrible customer service. 3. I know times are tough, but when someone has just endured a MAJOR SURGERY, you kind of hope that a business that deals with people struggling with healthcare and mobility issues on a daily basis would at least be helpful and not condescending and mean. Sorry Chichesters, you've lost my business and I will readily share my negative experience with anyone who asks.

I need a seat to my wheelchair. Ted repaired it but supposedly ordered a new one in December 2022. It is now 2-23-2023 & have not received a new seat. I have left 2 messages for Ted to call me with info/specs on my wheelchair so I can order somewhere else. It has dropped me out 1x & almost a 2nd time. This chair is dangerous. Why can’t Ted return my calls.

Absolutely no respect whatsoever for callers and attitude like you wouldn't believe! Then they want to get upset when you give them attitude. Definitely will not be doing anything else with these people ever again!

Everyone should have Wendy on their team. Mom’s hospital bed controller went out on her bed. I thought a new bed was needed after talking with Wendy she said how about trying a new controller, it’s cheaper and an easy fix. She sent us the site to order it and when it came in, I plugged it into the bed and it worked. Only Wendy took the time to hear what the problem was and come up with an easier solution. Her personality and her desire to really help is a breath of fresh air. Thank you Wendy for being such a beautiful person.

I was short of breathe on 12.9.22 and I was sent from Urgent care to these people to get an nebulize. The lady was very rude to me and did not let me in the establishment. She told me to go back outside bc she had a sick child at home. I thought I was about to die bc I couldn't breathe at all. Lucky Powells pharmacy was able to assist me. I would not recommend going to this place if you are in an emergency situation even if a medical professional recommends them!

I was in the store yesterday getting things for a sick family member. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything needed to take care of the needs. When I entered I was greeted by Renee, she made me feel as if I was a friend not just a stranger. I will definitely be going back and sending my friends if they have a need.

Wendy is amazing! She went out of her way to meet my Dad’s needs. Wendy is very professional and personable. She is a total asset. We couldn’t have asked for a better home care business than Chichester.

I have stopped into Chichester's Homecare when needing medical supplies for 20 years now. Renee is so helpful and knowledgeable of the products they sell. I get the right medical products for me, & they explain how to use them. I feel I get a great value and price when I shop at Chichester's.Thank you all for your help and kindness.

Chichesters Homecare has always delivered top quality products and services for my mother-in-law over the last few years. The staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile! The overall care and service rendered by Chichesters is far superior to other providers that we have done business with in the middle Georgia area!

I cannot say enough good things about this company.I have been a regular customer for at least 25 years. They have always went above and beyond meeting peoples needs.They are very efficant and so helpful . The staff has many years of experiance in their field. I could not ask for nicer people.

Unfriendly place, they make me feel unwelcome like you don’t belong there and the service suck...I would rather drive a hour away to a different location than visit that place with snobby unprofessional women. I have a feeling that if they don’t like you, they would tell you that the item is not cover by insurance to charge you cash ?.

I LOVE GOING INTO CHICHESTER'S HOMECARE, THE PEOPLE ARE REALLY NICE, FRIENDLY, SHOWS A LOTS OF CONCERN FOR YOU AS A CUSTOMER AND ALWAYS WANTING TO KNOW HOW CAN THEY HELP YOU WITH A BIG SMILE. WENDY GOES OVER BROAD FOR YOU, SHE DIDN'T KNOW ME BUT I HAD MAJOR BACK SURGERY AND AFTER WORK SHE CAME TO MY HOME AND DELIVERED MY EQUIPMENT AND SET IT UP FOR ME. I WAS VERY THANKFUL AND HAPPY, IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES TO KNOW SHE CARED ENOUGH ABOUT ME AS A CUSTOMER TO DO THAT. I LOVE GOING IN THERE SHOPPING. RENEE IS VERY NICE AS WELL, WILL HELP YOU ANYWAY SHE CAN, ALL THE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL. I PRAY THAT GOD WILL ALWAYS BLESSED THIS COMPANY IN JESUS NAME AMEN.
