When I call Cox for troubles with my internet or TV I often get a thanks, as a long and continued customer, only, they don't ACT very thankful for my decades of patronage. For one, every year I have to go through the ordeal of trying to renegotiate a service plan because every year they try to jack up the price over the previous plan. In April 2021 I went online to renegotiate a new service plan, opting for no changes to my services. The ticket for the order I placed showed an acceptable price. Problem was, I would find that a lot of the channels I had been getting were no longer there. So I had to call them several times to right the discrepancies, after which my monthly charge was twenty dollars above what I'd previously been paying. And what have we been getting for our nearly $****** per month? Unsteady internet speeds too often way below that promised "gigablast" - upload speeds sometimes in the single digits, service outages for extended periods of time with no credit back for service lost, and freezing up contour cable boxes or remotes. Then when I call, I get responses like "maybe my computer has a virus" or "we're working to improve service to your area" or efforts to sell me some monthly service plan to avoid charges for them coming out to fix THEIR stuff.

I know it won’t do any good. But you guys have they worst customer service skills ever. Can’t run cable for this reason and that reason. Send a guy out that has a bad back and can’t do anything. Guy acted as if he didn’t wanna be at work any way. Horrible service at over priced rates.

The service is always slow. If you’re lucky to reach a representative they’re disgustingly rude and unhelpful. You’ll waste hours of your time without any answers or a resolution to your problem. They charge insane installation fees just for someone to unplug one box and plug in another then want to double the bill and the service will still be terrible. It’s sad.

I been trying all weekend to talk or chat with someone but the call center is unavailable. If they want a payment they can call us or cut the service off. Bad service ?

This place shouldn't even have one star because someone I don't know who put the wrong number on an account and then when they tried to call me oh wait we couldn't get ahold of you but y'all have the wrong number and I told you three times and not once did their customer service change it.

We have had Cox since January-- here I sit in August waiting for yet another cable drop!!!! This will be our 5th. I call on Friday (August 21) and was given a service date of August 29th ( or sooner if tech in the area) however we have absolutely NO service right now. So today I called trying to get it moved up and was informed it was moved to September 4th!!! Cox has 24 hours to call/come and drop line!!!!! I an currently searching other providers!!! Absolute WORST service ever!!!!! Would not now or ever recommend cox to anyone!!!!!!

Bad internet service.. outages and slow connection. This level of service won’t be tolerable anymore as many ppl work from home and need reliable connection. Cox can’t be described as reliable and might let you down. Just imagine having to meet some deadline and got few hours left and service goes off all of a sudden!!! Horrible scenario!!

COX Cable providers are rude over the phone and need to be fired they will not give you the services you ordered and I told a lady I am not satisfied she snapped back with "YES YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH YOUR SERVICES" COX takes advantage of their customers and harrasses them because they are the only providers around I hope Cox is shut down by direct or dish

I attempted to contact your company on a number of occasions and was given the run-around before I could finally log and file my complaint. I was told that someone would be reaching out to me within 48 to 72 hours and that still has not happened. My interaction with the company was on Wednesday, it is Sunday.On top of this, I have called the corporate office, and still did not receive a callback, after having left a message.I will be filing an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau.As I shared with several of the customer service representatives, including one store representative, I felt EXTREMELY DISRESPECTED with the manner in which the maintenance crew handled repairs on my property. No one should have to wake up between 8am and 9am in the morning to see two of your employees digging into their yardWITHOUT NOTICE and WITHOUT A REQUEST FOR SERVICE. Even more upsetting is the fact one of these employees told me that this was COX'S CUSTOM-to NOT COMMUNICATE with homeowners when digging into THEIR YARD when/if repairs were needed.Again, I never called or requested service/repairs or to report an outage. It is important to note too, that two of YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES also said that they would have felt DISRESPECTED by the actions that were taken by the maintenance team.Don't get me wrong, I can understand these guys are doing their job, but Who should have to wake up to this UNANNOUNCED, and WHY I NOT BE NOTIFIED !?
