I would love to give 5 stars to certain employees at this location and just give zero stars for the store and everything else about it.
Thee is no convenience in stopping here. There are 2 self checkout registers and one that is run by an employee. The two self checkouts are broken and I don't know how long it's been since they were used, definitely more than a couple of months bc I've only been living in this area a couple of months and never seen them operable. The one register the employees use is garbage. Last night I was the 10th person in line, and each person being rang up ahead of me had an issue.. all of them are pretty much the same in that if you use a debit or credit card that it appears that you're being charged twice, but it's basically putting a hold on your card and then at some point after the transaction is complete the hold is removed and the funds released into your account, the issue for that was several people were saying it didn't release until the next day and in one case a gentleman in line said he had to call corporate bc the hold didn't lift on his after almost a week. Transactions that were "successfully" going through were taking upward of 10 to 15 min wait time. In all of this going on and a couple of extremely, and unnecessarily, rude customers the cashier was apologetic, kind, and before beginning any new transaction she briefly explained and warned each customer of the issues.

Very clean busy and well organized. Many people in and out. A great place to stop in-between two cities.

Incorrect business hours. Employees lock the door and stop accepting customers at 9:30pm. Several people were turned away at the door.

It was an over all a good experience, that I had tonight at the Dollar General on Pamela Drive. Shaun is the best ever and she tries to keep the right people in the right places to do their job better. In turn helps the customers get in and get out faster. And in turn their overall experience when coming to this store. 100 out 100 definitely!! I would give the highest possible score to her and her team. Keep up the good work!!
