Completely unreliable. They want payment up front and then take weeks to deliver Propane and then only after 3 no-shows. This is my last order. When this is out I am canceling account.

I became a customer in 03/2011. Never had any problems until 12/2023. In early Nov i ordered a new gas range to be del'd on 12/11. I was told the delivery guys would not/could not install. So days leading up to delivery date i called Ferrell to arrange for disconnect of old stove and connection of new stove. I was told Ferrell will do the conversion and connection of new range but would not disconnect old range or haul it away. Hauling off the old range is not so much an issue for me, but to make me have to find another licensed person to disconnect the old stove is absolutely downright stupid! I was also told by Ferrell their guy would not unbox new range or install knobs or handles if required. BTW, the delivery guys unboxed the range b4 bringing it in house. Ferrell also told me new range had to be in its place in the kitchen; their guy would not move it. Stupid because if I had it put in its place, it would have to be moved out in order to be converted and connected to gas line. So I found another propane gas supplier who gladly sent a guy out who converted, moved range to position, connected range to gas line, pushed range into place, made sure it was level, and made sure it worked properly. Ferrell didn't want to install knobs/handles...I noticed oven door had to come off so guy could get up in there to do conversion. Would Ferrell have required me to remove the door then reattach it? I don't know what has happened to Ferrell recently but something has taken place. I called Ferrell early Nov b4 ordering range to make sure they would convert/connect new range. I called the local number and talked with lady in the local office. When I called the local number days b4 delivery to schedule service, call went elsewhere like a corporate office. This is when I learned what Ferrell would not do. Not sure if corporate is now running things but if it is, it might be costing Ferrell some customers. I am now a customer of the other propane gas provider. Best of luck Ferrell; u will need it to keep customers with this type of cs.

My wife said I need to submit a google review. Bear with me, it is long. It takes a bit, due to a Stroke but it is practice. I am a Veteran of 23+ years and a DoD Contractor. So, in one capacity or another, I have served and served well. This isn’t service nor costumer service! This is my story -- We (wife and I) normally call Ferrell Gas – Macon Georgia, this time every year to service our tank, a silver and blue topped tank, for ~15 years, quite ugly to say the least. I used hedges to obscure the tank. I should have known…The Ferrell Gas technician came to my door and said he could not find the Ferrell Gas tank nor the correct driveway. I thought it was odd, so I pointed to my driveway. It is a residential neighborhood, so all the driveways are attached to the garages. All access to the tanks is roughly the same. I said it is in back. I will meet you outback. I text my wife Ferrell Gas is here and proceed to the backyard. I hear the technician backing up due to the horn. The technician comes through the gate dragging the tube. He sets up a few yards away and says he can’t do it. I said why. He mentions it is too close to the house. I said it is Ferrell Gas tank, your guys put it in (after the fact, my wife mentioned we had to replace the cement blocks that had cracked), had Ferrell Gas out for that one too and have been servicing it for ~14 years (I said 20 years that was my mistake). I said that is the first I heard, after ~14 years of being serviced, being too close. He said they have a lot of turnover in manning (So what, I just wanted my tank filled). I repeated your tank and your techs have been servicing it for years. (He didn’t even try, this is foreign to me “can’t” and “unwilling to try”). He said this was a safety issue. As a prior military person, you don’t mess with safety - Was my family in danger? For 14 years! I told him to leave and that I was going to call Ferrell Gas, or I thought he did. He snuck back and took unauthorized pictures of my shrubs (we will call hedges). I guess he needs another excuse. I was right! I called my wife and explained the issue and Ferrell Gas. I got through after a short wait. I was a bit mad, you can imagine, after being denied service. The customers service representative said that the technician mentioned too close and SHRUBS as being the reason for not servicing the tank. I thought to myself, he didn’t even try, access to the tank is from the side (left side). I asked to be called back - they had 2 options fill the tank or remove the tank. No Call. Remove tank. In this day, it baffles me that a company would rather remove the tank then get paid. I rent the tank and service it every year. I pay on time every time! I don’t get it, they are taking food off the plate! I called Ferrell Gas three times the next workday. Boy was that a mess. First time I used the callback feature – no callback after 30 minutes of which is said 10 minutes to wait... The second time I decided to wait – it was answered - I thought - I said hello numerous times. I could hear talking in the background after a long while I hung up… The third time was a charm – I selected billing – and the poor girl got the brunt of it. I am very nice, but I could not help myself. All because the technician refused to fill a tank! I recommend you – any of you thinking - DO NOT use FERRELL GAS! Find another provider. They still must pick up the tank. I apologized up front. It took me hours to write this! I will let you know if it is done professionally!

If I could give No stars I would. I ordered 50 gallons of gas from them I was told on 11/23/22 when I placed the order it would be delivered that day or the next now 3 days later I call and ask about the delivery, I was told my window was from the 23rd to the 28th. Now when the order was placed I was not told this when I stated this fact to customer service lady they hung up on me. Very poor customer service. Inform your customers of the correct information don’t mislead them!!!!

I appreciate the fact that you always beat the date you anticipate delivery. Every single time (three +) you have outperformed. Thanks much for the continued top shelf service.Paul H.
