Went all the way to the place to rent a car get there to pay they don't take chime bank cards right but then turn around and try to charge my car for a can't fee like really if you don't take chime to rent the cars how are you going to take my money off the same card for a cancelation fee boy I tell you will not recommend to anyone.

Wouldn't give this location a star!!This place needs to be closed down. They are not professional or on the same page. The guy who works there is not as bad as young lady who give false information!! Need to go to training class. The manager of the branch is useless!! Worse experience I've ever had ! Wouldn't recommend this location.

It is the worst service I have ever received. You call the number to resolve problems and the only thing they do is tell you to call the local office which is only open from Monday to Friday. The truth is, what a bad experience at costumer service.

I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE A STAR BUT SINCE I HAVE TO JUST TO TELL MY EXPERIENCE MY INSURANCE COMPANY MADE RESERVATION FOR MY CAR RENTAL AND WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY WHEN I GOT HERE AROUND 11 NOW IT'S ALMOST AFTER 5:30 AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE A RENTAL EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE 13 VEHICLES ON THE LOT SO WHAT WAS THE REAL ISSUE HUMMMM HUMMMMM HUMMMMMMS BUT I NOTICED EVERY SINGLE WHITE PERSON WAS TURNED AWAY JUST SAYING WHAT I NOTICED NOW I KNOW THAT THESE FOLKS ARE RACIST NOT TO MENTION HOW RUDE THE GIRL WAS THANKS FOR NOTHING AND THANKS FOR BEING A UGLY HUMANNO WONDER THEY HAVE A 2.7 STAR IT'S ALL HOW YOU TREAT ANOTHER ONE AND I WAS STILL NICE BECAUSE I KNOW ONE WHO DOESN'T LIKE UGLY OOOOOH AND LASTLY THE OFFICE WAS NASTY AND TRASHY OOOOOH AND NO RESTROOM BUT SHE WAS IN THE RESTROOM WHEN I TRIED TO USE IT BUT IT'S BROKE AND SHE STAYED ON HER CELL PHONE ALMOST THE ENTIRE TIME

Terrible service. This Hertz has an angry black woman behind the desk. Extremely rude and has an attitude. Went to enterprise and it was a wonderful experience. Stay away from this place.

Made a reservation in advance and paid in full, was denied service at the desk because I was using a Visa card that offered Paypal rewards; The associate insisted that it was an online bank card like Cash app or Venmo, however it wasn't. Their ignorance cost me the entire first day of my trip + my first night at my vacation rental. I let them know I was dropped off at their location and needed the vehicle that I had paid for in full. They told me I would have to rent a car from Enterprise miles down the road. I asked for a refund and they said I'd have to call the 1-800 number to request a refund. I called and found out that I had been charged twice for the reservation, and a refund wouldn't be issued until the end of my rental period; even though I was denied a car at all and double charged. I had to wait an entire week to be refunded, despite no services rendered. I wrote an email explaining the situation to customer service and they sent back a general reply proving they did not even take the time to read my complaint. Horrible car service, uneducated staff, will never use them again.

Truck was in shop, needed to get around while we’re down due to truck in the shop. Price for daily rentals was nice! Cheap!! Car wasn’t cleaned or detail before renting! Oh well I suppose!! Easier dropping off then picking up.Location is not very easy to find. Def needs a big sign out front!

I used to be an Enterprise customer until I found this location. They are always on top of it, have a great inventory of cars, excellent customer service, and are so helpful and friendly. I travel a bit for work, so I am thankful for this location and the people that work here!

Made a reservation online. Went to pick up the vehicle, the guy behind the counter said, “oh she still has the keys to that car”. Ok, so put me in ANY vehicle. He then went out to look at a vehicle, came back in and said “All our vehicles are in the repair shop right now and aren’t ready” What does that even mean. Something smelled weird. I said nevermind and went to enterprise. In and out of there in 20 mins!

Had a bad experience with customer service and couldn't get anything resolved. I spoke with multiple reps and supervisors and could not get a clear answer as to why I could not extend my vehicle over the phone. I came into this location here in Macon with very low expectations based on previous reviews and my experience with customer service. I was pleasantly surprised to be met by PRESTON here at the front desk. He was very respectful and helpful. He got in contact with the right departments, and got everything figured out. I appreciate him very much and will be back at this location next time I need a rental.

My reservation at Dollar at the Atlanta airport got cancelled and Raven at the Macon Hertz was INCREDIBLY accommodating and helpful! She truly saved my trip and she was amazingly kind and professional. I highly recommend this rental facility!

Deserves NO STARS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Take your business elsewhere (hence the reason for multiple 1-star reviews). I reserved a standard car and when I arrived, they only had SUVs. I was told to pay an additional $10 for the SUV and that they didn't have standard vehicles all week. Someone should've informed me of the situation prior to my arrival. The representative was NOT helpful; displayed an "I don't really care" attitude. I spent an hour on the highway for nothing.

Scammy and shady.Called and made a reservation for car rental. They sent us confirmation emails and everything. Called again and they confirmed they had the car ready at the address specified. We showed up and the desk people said not only did they not have the car they confirmed, but they couldn't give us an alternate car without an upcharge. The price was already insane as it was!

If you can help it don’t rent here. Hard to get ahold of anybody via phone call and through the 1-800 numbers you are on hold for 10+ every time for everything. They also don’t offer pick up services either so you’re going to have to find ride to get your rental as well as rides after you drop off your rental. And their website halfway works and sometimes their confirmation numbers don’t work.Worst experience with a rental car company I have had.
