My first visit I was overwhelmed by loving cats and I was prepared to walk out with one. However the older lady running the shop continuously reminded me of the EXTENSIVE background check they would run on me as if I was a criminal. And that turned me off completely. I’m an expecting mother with 2 kids and a dog that I take very good care of and I felt offended. My background is clean so that’s not the problem. The problem was her rushing me out the door 10 minutes earlier than closing time and reminding me at least 4 times that my background would be dug into and I would be charged almost $200 for a CAT! I’ve had cats and kittens my entire life and have never paid over $100 MAX for a fully vaccinated cat.

Kitty City Cat Rescue is a cat lovers paradise. Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday special. She fell in love with the skinny black kitty but we couldn’t adopt it. Hopefully they will change their minds about that in the future. The two women in the front were the sweetest. Nice vibe and decor.

My daughter and I came here for the first time and I was in love. I loved how all the cats are free to run around and they all are so healthy. We adopted Boomer, a 9 month old orange tabby. He instantly opened up to his new family ? Thank you again lady's for helping me find my little man

This is the best animal shelter I’ve seen around here. They’re a no-kill, cage free cat rescue, and you can tell the cats are so loved and taken care of. I fell in love with three male black cats who were all ridiculously cuddly and sweet

This is a wonderful cat haven! Run by ONE woman and a group of volunteers. I adopted my kittie from there and left a donation too.To the person that left a horrible review (Kari), get your critical butt down there and help! It is easy to sit on sidelines and complain, as I said, this is a one woman show with volunteers. I for one appreciate the dedication and hard work of all the people at Kitty City. Maybe if people in this city cared more for animals her job wouldn't be so bad!

I emailed this place because my kitten was missing and I was desperate for some help. They emailed me back the same day and was very sympathetic and concerned. They took my information and promised to call if my kitten was found.

The reason why I'm posting this is because your adoption prices are high. I feel bad for you if you have to charge that :( I'm looking for a cat for a friend in your area. Maybe you could work with local businesses and vets to help more. Our shelters where I live run specials all the time. It's usually 45 dollars down to even 5 dollar specials. This is how they keep the shelters no kill. They are fixed and come with rabies. I'd say the most I've seen ever is 75 dollars for rescues. We also have spray neuter programs thru humane society for 30-35 dollars.

Amazing rescue providing a loving environment & care for our community’s kitty friends. I love being there for these babies. Selfless management ?

Overly complicated adoption process and expensive I thought. I didnt see the facility. I found Dublin Humane Society uses Petsense for adoptions. Much easier process and reasonably priced.
