Always long lines. Understaffed?

January 2024 by Rhonda Williams
While standing in line for over 15 minutes (that’s usual, I expect it) someone comes up from front of store, looks at line, then as woman being served finishes, she proceeds to go to register next, & young lady who always works register proceeds to help her, the one that just cut in front of all of us. I step up and say “umm, I’m sorry but there’s a line” the girl working register and women in the pharmacy just stare blankly, so I add “I’ve been waiting in line with these people, she just walked up”… crickets… then girl proceeds to continue ringing the rude line cutter up! When I get to register, no apology, no “sorry we didn’t see her just walk up” Nothing! They made me feel like the bad guy for them not doing the right thing, & telling cheater to go to the end of the line! That’s as much on them to keep things right as it is on customers to DO right!!

I don't even know how to start writing this. If it weren't me writing this I probably wouldn't even believe this. I am currently in the hospital while writing this review.Me and my mom had just gone to the plato's closet right next to this Kroger so that's where our car was parked. We decided to get some extra steps in and walk to the Kroger. This Kroger's bathrooms didn't have locks, long check out lines, angry customers, and no carts. However, the real bad stuff happened after this.We were walking back to our car still in the Kroger parking lot when suddenly me and my moms carts stopped. We were stuck in the street and I thought I was gonna die. Me and my mom were stuck in opposite sides of the street while cars were honking at us. I was trying to push my cart but it was so locked that the cart broke while I was trying to move out of the middle of the road. I was pushing the cart so hard that the cart began tipping. It began to tip the wrong way so I ended up falling with it. The milk has busted everywhere and the truck in front of me had ran out of patience. It started going forward while I was stuck. It's oversized tires ran into my legs and I felt them as they broke. My mom was fighting a homeless man trying to steal her grocery's while this was happening. An old lady called the ambulances while two boys in charge of the carts had watched and laughed. I believe it is safe to say we will not be returning back to Kroger after this.

Great customer service! Staff that spoke to us were super nice and helpful. The store was well kept and quiet. Was a nice shopping atmosphere. Food options where good. We can here to get some things after the Walmart didn't have everything we needed. Prices are medium high. The cinnamon sticks that were $3 at Walmart were $8 here.

Don't buy the $1.00 raw oysters! We bought 4 dozen and were very dissappointed with their small size, and the small crabs in several of them. Gross. Even when these oysters were $6.99/doz they were much larger. Sure, supply vs demand, but be warned.

This pharmacy is great and always takes care of my needs.

This is the worst excuses for a pharmacy I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. Staff is shockingly cold and unhelpful presumably because of terrible understaffing issues, or at least that’s what they keep complaining about when you press them. Hours keep shortening or closing so much you never know if they’ll actually be open at a reasonable time. Lines are unbelievably long, and if you actually manage to get a pharmacist on the phone you should probably go buy a lottery ticket.Do better.

Just went to pick up a prescription for a friend who is home sick with COVID. The doctor sent in the prescription around 5:00, and my friend called to ask me to pick it up after 6:15 when it was supposed to be ready. I went over to the store and found the pharmacy closed even though their hours on line on their web page are listed as 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. today. Apparently they had closed at 5 p.m. with no warning on their web page. Christmas hours are posted, but hours for today are posted as 8:00 to 8:00. When people are dealing with medical issues, this is not okay!!!

She shouldn't have to wait almost 2 hours for a prescription to be filled. That is ridiculous. They will tell you they'll text you and call you but if you don't just sit right in front of them you don't get a call or text for hours later. When you're sick and you need to be at home sitting in the parking lot for over an hour waiting on a prescription is unacceptable

The worst! They used to be so much better and faster but now it's ridiculous. I had to wait two hours for my refill when it was supposed to been ready in 30 mins! So disappointing!

Terrible customer service. They pick up the phone, blurt out some inaudible, unfriendly greeting - the only thing discernible is an attitude - then put you on hold. Forever. While on hold, Every time the phone rings (because they have taken forever) they just throw you back on hold to listen to music that is staticky. I think the goal is to get you to hang up and go to a different pharmacy. Mission accomplished.

Poor service, rude employees. Couldn’t get our prescription from another pharmacy because they didn’t want to wait on hold. Then put us on hold for 45 minutes, only to hang up on us. 0/10 will not recommend.

Kroger Pharmacy Zebulon Rd. Macon, Ga. 4/23/21 Around 2:30 pm I go to pick up my prescription and to pay for 6 small items. The one Pick Up line was all the way down the 1st Aids Isle and around the corner (Blocking customers for shopping at the 1st Aid Isle OR customers where weaving in and out through the people standing 6 feet apart in line for their Rx, breaking the 6 feet rule) I was in line for 20 minuets. When it was my turn I started to put my six items on the counter when Trevor Noah The Jamaican dude said, "We can only check out 4 or 5 items. I said, " I have six small items" He said NO. So, I then had to go and stand in yet ANOTHER line to pay for my 6 small items with consisted of : One 12 pack box of Sheba Cat food, A Birthday Card, one box Face Masks, one bottle of Probiotic Gummies, one teeny tiny bottle of Campho Phenique and one bottle of Glucose Tablets. That just rude after standing in line for so long and I don't have a problem going to another Kroger Pharmacy because this is ridiculous.
