I understand that policy needs to put in place to protect the business and paying customers. I had 2 ceiling fans that i had bought to install. My installer said i needed to exchange for one with drop down because of ceiling slope. He finally got them back to me. I went to return or exchange for the correct one. I had my receipt but it was 2 days past Lowes current return policy. Talked to supervisor and MOD both stated nothing they could do. Boxes were unopened and I had receipt as well as a lowes account so they could easily see im a loyal customer. I only asked for an exchange to get what I needed. I left the fans on the counter because they are useless to me. There's nothing at Lowes that I can't get on Amazon. So I figure that's what I'll be doing going forward.

If I could give this Lowes 0 (zero) rating I would. I contracted with Lowes (Macon on Zebulon Rd.) to deliver and install a range oven. After paying $35.00 for the contractor to go out an take measurements. I was quoted a price the salesperson took full payment and scheduled the install for today (12/12/2024).
On the day of the install at about 10;00 am I received a call stating that the contractor fail to include price of the install kit (which was advertised free if using Lowes install) and I would have to pay an additional $150.00; otherwise, the install could not take place today. Keep in mind I have been waiting over 4 weeks for this delivery and install. Price gouging at it's best! We both mutually agreed to have the install today (12/12/2024) I would pay the $150.00 and it would be adjusted back after the install. I received an email where my card was debited for over $166.00 dollar much more than agreed. Called several time and was told the delivery and installation would occur between 2:00-6:00 pm. Called at 5:30 pm. spoke with Lowes Installation service manager/Johnathan discovered no install today. Please note I had to call no one ever called to update on the installation. The high paid manager was perfectly fine with installation not occurring and only offered rescheduled or refund. Why have managers such as this? I have lived by Lowes and often visit the store several times a week.
All of my review friends I am sure you will agree this kind of management and service is highly frustrating and unacceptable. We deserve better. Lowes dependability and service is slowly rotting away all because of poor management and lazy installation team.
