We have been using Sav Tax now for a couple of years for our business and personal taxes. They are very professional and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend Christi and Carol. They are very friendly and polite as well. Will be seeing you ladies soon.

After researching tax preparers, I decided to try Sav Tax due to their 5-star reviews. I was assigned Mrs. Sally Jackson as my tax preparer. Prior to our meeting, I contacted the office to ask if there were any additional documents I needed to bring and if I could email my prior year’s tax return. I was provided with Mrs. Jackson’s email and scheduled an appointment for February 22.
To ensure a smooth process, I prepared all necessary documentation, including credit card statements with highlighted business expenses, which I had totaled for convenience. My husband and I also own an LLLP, which I made sure to disclose.
At our February 22 meeting, I provided all requested documents. The meeting lasted only five minutes, during which Mrs. Jackson asked a few questions and stated, “I’m going to do the best I can with this.” This response raised some concerns, but I proceeded given the firm’s strong reviews and the looming March 15 business tax filing deadline.
On February 26, Mrs. Jackson reached out requesting the dates and costs of appliances purchased. I informed her that this information was included in the Lowe’s statements I had provided. She stated that she had not yet reviewed that portion of the documents. To assist, I emailed individual receipts with all necessary details within 24 hours. She also requested a settlement statement for a property purchase, which I promptly provided.
On February 27, she contacted me again, stating that we might need to file an extension. She also inquired whether the LLLP was necessary. I provided documentation showing that the LLLP had been transferred to the business the previous year. At that time, I requested a detailed list of any outstanding documents needed so that I could ensure we met the March 15 deadline.
After receiving no response for several days, I was unexpectedly informed via email on March 6 that, after reviewing my documents, their office determined that I would be better served elsewhere. They stated that my documents would be available for pickup at the front desk. This decision came two weeks after I had submitted my paperwork and less than ten days before the filing deadline.
I was extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and professionalism. Had I been informed sooner that they were unable to complete my tax return, I would have had ample time to find an alternative preparer. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm to anyone with more complex tax needs beyond a simple W-2 filing. It is imperative that tax professionals only take on clients whose filings align with their expertise to avoid unnecessary delays and inconvenience.

Awesome!
Great experience from the time we walked in the door.
Everyone greets you with a smile and makes you feel like family.
Nicole went over our taxes, and answered all of our questions.
It was our first time there, and Mrs. Kay took the time to introduce herself to us as well, and that's when we knew, we'll be back next year.

If you want regular old traditional tax preparation look somewhere else.These people don’t seem to realize that tax preparation is supposed to be slow and depressing and expensive.I walked into a beautiful office, I was greeted with a smile, my taxes were done quickly, and I wasn’t charged an arm and a leg!

This is our second year going to Sav Tax, Christi has done our taxes for us both times. Wonderful young lady, personable and a true gem. Only spoke to Ms. Kay briefly, but in the couple of minutes I spoke with her, she was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend their services to any of my friends and neighbors.
